I am pleased with Daniel's work. He was quick to respond and punctual, appearing at the promised time. His work is neat and he cleaned up the site when done. He took me around the house and showed me all the repairs which were done as I had requested. His crew was professional and respectful.

I was tired of dealing with my contractor who was dragging his feet on every aspect of building my new office and add-on storage building to our garage, so I decided to hire some people on my own to finish the two buildings, which only needed brick work to be nearly complete. I found Daniel on Angies List and left him a message, along with three other mason businesses. He got back to me right away, came over that evening, and had an estimate for me the next day. The estimate sounded good, but I told him the brick was ordered and wouldnt get here for another two weeks, so we agreed to start when it came in. Surprisingly the brick came in a week early, and Daniel didnt waste any time- he started a week earlier on Saturday and didnt stop until everything was finished! His crew was very polite and courteous, and they kept the area as clean as possible- a great change from some other crews that have been on the site who would leave trash everywhere in my backyard. I was floored at how amazing the job turned out. It is absolutely beautiful, and they did some extremely fine detail work. I honestly couldnt be happier. Im already planning some brickwork in another area of our yard and I will 100% hire Daniel again to do the job. In summary: Daniel was great, his crew was fantastic, the level of quality I got was amazing, and I cant wait to work with them again because I know theyll do a great job! I cannot recommend him enough.

Would show up at random times through out the day. Did stucco on wrong side of the fence. I gave him extra cash to buy stucco to stucco the correct side of the fence and he never showed up. Called and he said he was waiting on stucco base and after a month I gave up. He also never came back to clean up. He didn't finish putting mud on the outside of fence so it has a chunk where the cinder block is showing. Was very unsatisfied with work.

A pickup lost control and ended up in our backyard taking out our fence, sliding gate and storage.   We had called several construction companies whom wanted to charge well into the thousands for the job which consisted of tearing down our crushed storage, removing what fence we had left and hauling off all of the debris.  They would show up or not and would give us estimates and then never show up again.  It was extremely frustrating.
After about 2 months of dealing with other contractors I came across Mr. Lozano's number and info here in Angie's List.  I called and set up an appointment with Mr. Lozano to give me an estimate on tearing down our storage and fence and rebuilding the fence.  He showed up on the day and time we had scheduled.  The estimate was more than reasonable and he did exactly what he said he would do.  We did have a few discussions which were not written down and after reminding him of these things he still stood good for them.   Which is usually not the case with contractors. I cannot say enough good about Daniel or his team.  They were all extremely courteous, very professional and very helpful.  They gained my trust and my thanks for a job well done and done on time even though the weather cost them a few days work.   Also, my fence is way prettier than before.  I just stood back and let them do what they do best and am absolutely thrilled with their work and work ethic.  Thank you again Mr. Lozano, Dan'L Construction,  you saved my sanity.

Mr. David Rodriguez showed up each day for 3 weeks with his crew.  We never had any problems and all conversations and interactions with him and his crew were very professional.

Mr.Rodriguez first began by digging the footings and installed the rebar for the concrete fence.  While he was waiting on the city inspector to come by and approve that part, he installed the wrought iron fence across the front of the house and concreted the poles in.  This was a very hard process for him and his crew as our ground is pretty much solid rock.  His crew hammered and jackhammered for 2 days to get holes deep enough for the poles. He finished up this job by the time the city inspector came around for the fence.

Once the city inspector came around, then he built the concrete fence and did an excellent job!  Then we discussed him laying a concrete sidewalk along one side of our home and laying some flagstone rock on the other side of the driveway.  In having the walk thru, he noticed that our foundation had a crack all along that side of the house and chunks of concrete were falling off and we told him that had been happening over the last 25 years. He said he could repair that and discussed that he could go in and drill some holes and install rebar to stabilize everything and then concrete a ledge to make it look nice.  He quoted us a  price by the next day and we all agreed to do this work.  So after the concrete fence was built, he then reinforced the foundation.  After that, he poured the concrete sidewalk and had the flagstone on its way.  While waiting on the flagstone to arrive, him and his crew dug out the area for the flagstone to be placed.  He put down caliche and packed it real good.

Then Mr. Rodriguez and his crew proceeded to lay the flagstone in the area specified.  In the meantime, we also had a brick flowerbed at the door front area that was about 3 ft. high that we dug out and decided to fill it in and make a ledge.  Mr. Rodriguez and his crew filled this in with some of that rock they got out of our yard and then put on a concrete layer and then placed flagstone in that area which made it Beautiful!!!!  What a great idea David had!  He is very creative and makes suggestions to let you think about.  He also repaired some of the bricks on this area that were deteriorating and did an excellent job there and you couldn't even tell that there was a problem.

Then after he was almost finished with the flagstone area, I noticed he had a little bit of flagstone left over.  We discussed this and he suggested putting in edges of flagstone on each side of the driveway and in the middle section of the area in front of our circular drive to give it some accents. So we did that.

In the end, all was very professional and excellent work.  Him and his crew cleaned everything up and hauled off all trash and swept the driveways and porch and left my residence in excellent shape.

David and his guys showed up the day he said they would.  Framed up/prepared the garage slab and curved driveway addition.  Began pour the next morning, bag by bag until the slabs were finished.  started around 9am and finished 11pm that night.  They broke for lunch when it didn't cause a problem for the slabs which was around 4pm that afternoon.  While finishing up the slabs, another part of his crew began removing the ends of my driveway (3 day project).  One thing about David, his brother and crew, they don't waste time, they work, work, work.  Patiently working with you on all your needs and answering questions as they arise.  In this day and time, this economy in Odessa/Midland it is a blessing to be able to find someone you can trust, believe in their ethics and know you will get quality craftsmanship.    They are heavy in demand so if you have the time to wait, get in touch with him and just wait, they will get to you!

I had called several brick layers to get estimates. I found that most of them acted either rude or like they just did not have time to answer their phone or return phone calls. I had two brick layers that would come to my house to give an estimate, but would never really give me a written estimate. After I insisted for a written estimate, they said that they would bring it to me, then I never heard from either of them again.

I called one well known brick layer who just told me to measure my fence and multiply that number by $90.00 per running foot, then hung up on me. I was not going to call him back.

One brick layer that wanted $43,000 to build me a fence. I will keep that estimate in a frame. He thought I was rich & stupid.

I did get three estimates that were all in the same ball park figure, but only one of these three was quick to answer his phone or return phone calls and politely answer my questions, and that was Daniel Lozano.

Daniel and his crew did an awesome job. Everyone in his crew actually seemed to enjoy their job and respected my home and privacy. Daniel and his crew made sure construction was within City Code and within survey markers.

As with any construction there will be a mess. This crew made sure my property as well as my neighbors property was clean before they left.

They even tolerated my lousy neighbor that lived in the rent house next door. (That is a story in itself)

If I need anymore brick work, I will call Daniel again. I know I can trust him. You can tell a lot about a man by how he treats his crew. Need a good brick layer? Call Daniel at 432-208-4957

David and his crew were great. They showed up on time and built the best looking fence in the neighborhood for the best price I could find. It's amazing how hard they worked in the summer heat to complete this project in just a few days. Will definitely use them again.

David and his crew showed up when they said they would, very little down time. They began clearing the area needing slab poured, one of which included a curved slab. They removed old rebar and concrete (which they could have taken a short-cut and poured over the top of it) matched the forms up with existing and poured. Due to all the construction, they would have had to wait for a concrete truck but rather than delay, they mixed and poured both slabs bag by bag. they worked until both slabs were finished and brushed to prevent slickness then they began replacing brick from around windows. We had removed more brick to flash and put in new energy efficient windows with argon gas. They worked until 10pm at night, using work lights to continue so that the next day would be very little left to do along with clean up. Arrived bright and early next morning, finished the last couple of windows and by the time they cleaned up, it didn't look as if they had been there. They have been an absolute joy to work with. Very dedicated to giving their customer what they want.

We removed a window from a room and installed an exterior door in it's place removing existing brick in the process. Our house was built in the 60's and we saved brick we removed which is critical since our brick texture could not be matched today. We called David for a quote and he showed up when he said he would. Went went over other areas needing repair, slabs, etc. A couple of days later he gave us a written quote. VERY REASONABLE in comparison to others that had quoted. One contractor gave me a quote and didn't remember what he had quoted. Another was way more than either of the others. David worked with us on which projects would be done first rather than requiring them all at the same time. With all the construction happening in Odessa and Midland, it is very difficult to get contractors that are specialists in their field and David worked with us. Extremely hard-working, works late and/or on weekends to finish it the way you want. If he tells you he has other jobs lined up but will fit you in believe it, it is well worth the wait. He works fast, does not waste time or materials, very professional and does an excellent job. David has a wonderful personality is an absolute joy to be around and visit with. Answers all your questions (or the many questions I had) even though he probably has answered them a thousand times. We will be having additional work done soon and look forward to working with him.
