    When I walked into the office and walked up to the reception desk to sign in, I was greeted, recognized and called by name.  As I took a seat the girl in the vision center (I am ashamed she knew my name and I don't remember hers) also recognized me and reminded me that she had contacts for me to pickup.  I was called back to an exam room before my appointment time and was seen very quickly by Dr Canon.  Check out was fast and efficient as well.  Total time there was less than 40 minutes.  Very well done!

    The reception staff was unprepared and inexperienced.  After an hour wait I was told that they did not take my insurance.  Understand that this was one of the main reasons I had chosen this clinic was because they were listed by my insurance carrier.  When she told me that they did not take my insurance I asked why they had wasted two weeks of my time not told me earlier on my two previous calls or when I emailed my "info sheet" in to them - each time describing my insurance company or when I had arrived at the office an HOUR earlier.  Dr. Sam Canon over heard our conversation and came to her rescue and asked to see my card again.  He returned in about 5 min saying they did indeed take my insurance saving the day. 

    Sam was kind and effective during the examination.  I was very impressed with his skills and his personal skills.  Once the prescriptions were determined I was given a pair of contacts to try and sent to the on-site Optician to try glasses.  We chose a pair and I was told they would be here in 2 weeks - they would call me when they arrived

    I went to pay out and the clerks were having trouble with the computer.  It took almost 45 minutes to pay my bill.  Total time there was almost 3 hours.

    Never received a call on the glasses or the contacts.  At 14 days I called and the contacts had not arrived but the glasses had.  I have no understanding of why it would take 18 days to get the two little boxes.  I did not receive a call after 18 days either, I had to call to see if they had arrived.  The girl who helped me "fit" my new glasses had no idea how to fit glasses and did nothing.  She did say I could come back any time to have them adjusted.

    I understand that having a staff that is trained in what they do and have excellent customer service skills is hard to do.  I think Permian Eye Clinic will make those adjustments and develop a staff that will improve their performance.  I will go back because I was very impressed with Sam.

    They are really good. It is a husband and wife team. I see the husband and my husband sees the wife there. They are very nice. The office staff is really good. There is not much customer service where we live. But they have very good customer service and very good office staff. I was having trouble with one of eyes and I had to go in multiple times. He finally figured out what was wrong with me. He didn't even charge me for that visit because he had missed it. They are very good on customer service. He is very personable. He takes time to chat with me about what is going on with me and my life. He is young and so he is going to be around for a while. He is up to date on the latest research and things like that. He is kind of fresh out of school.

    My husband loves Dr. Turner. He's going to get more procedures done there sometime soon if he can get it scheduled. they were very thorough, you go back the very next day, he looks at his handy work and if there's any issues he addresses them. My husband had a cataract surgery and they did one eye at a time. He could not see anything. He has to use Dr. Thomas three years but at least he could see now.

    It has been many years, before 2011, since I saw him. I didn't care for the long waits in his office and there was a problem with billing and my insurance the last time I saw him but it was straightened out. I believe he is an excellent doctor and I probably would see him again.

    I had my cataract surgeries done on separate weeks, and he did an excellent job. After the first one I could read without glasses! After the second one, I did need to wear glasses when I drive. Overall, I think he is an excellent doctor. I would and I have seen him for my eye exams yearly

    My 15yr old has Down Syndrome. Going to doctors is not easy for him. New places scare him and he's scared of the chairs at eye doctors and dentists. The staff has always been very respectful and have never treated us bad. Dr. Tolia has always been very friendly and considerate to Stevie. He tries to engage him on his level, doesn't make him sit in the big chair. My son isn't scared to go to him for an exam.

    I have seen many eye doctors in the Odessa area, and I think Dr. Lassa is the most honest! Every year when I went to go see other eye doctors they would always have to write me a new stronger prescription for contacts because my vision would get worse. I've been going to Dr. Lassa for the past two years and my eyesight has NOT gotten worse! My eyesight hasn't changed since I've seen him because he told me what the other doctors were doing wrong.

    Dr. Cochrill explains everything he does with detail. He emphasizes issues he considers which may constitute an emergency and what I should do or go for help depending on the time of day. He is patient with me during vision exams and never makes me feel rushed. I have had Drs. in my past who made me feel uncomfortably rushed and I appreciate the ones who don't. I feel respected, well treated and comfortable because I place confidence in his knowledge and ability to meet my needs.

    They got it right the first time and there weren't any problems. I am happy with it. It seemed like I paid a little more than I should but I agreed to it and it was fine. I was happy with the product. It was a higher rate than what I had seen in other areas. They were doing it a lot cheaper in Dallas..
