Anthony was the field supervisor assigned to this project and he was a terrific guy and always kept his word. He did a few walk through’s with me before I signed off on the project. His crew moved quickly, efficiently, and they took care of it all. It was a simple process from start to finish and everyone was very professional.

José and his crews are top Notch responsible workers He worked in an effective manner as we were a business and had to remain open while we had construction. If Jose could Not do it he would find someone who could.

They’re the best! Great people, who care about their customers and do impeccable work. I got my kitchen and bathroom remodeled and all I can say is wow, they did a wonderful job of doing exactly what I asked for. Would hire them again for sure!

We didn’t have her do the actual work, due to us moving, but she came out and she was really professional. She spent a long time with us and she was good. She walked around and answered a lot of questions and gave us some professional opinions too. This was for a basement refinishing.

These are GREAT! Will, Bill and Vince and Doc came to install 3 ceiling fans.  They were patience and listened to all my concerns.  They did a great job!  I am very happy.

I am a perfectionist especially when I am spending money, and even more so when it is a lot of money. I dreaded this process from start to finish. To cut to the chase so you don't have to read this entire thing I would contract with them again given comparable circumstances. That would be the highest praise I would give any contractor. Now to the details.I interviewed 3 contractors for this job. I am a realtor and have seen many contractors thru the years but used Angie's List as a foundation source. The house is a three story stucco house built in 1998 and had 4 feet of water in the bottom level during Ike. The house was tired both inside and out. I liked Julio the first time I met him and he did a fairly thorough job in evaluating and pricing the scope of work.In general terms the proposal was OK and the pricing was competitive with the other prices. It was not the least expensive. We contracted with them on April 6th and Julio estimated the work would take 3 weeks. That sounded reasonable. His workers were supposed to work from 8am to 5pm. They actually were very seldom here at 8am; normally between 8:30 and 9:30 and usually done by 5:00pm but occasionally here at 6:00 or 6:30. You just never knew what the hours would be. If we had plans I just told them they had to leave. The majority of the time there were 3 people here. Occasionally we only had 1 or 2 and sometimes 4 or 5. The doors were added to the scope of work during the project. The project started with the garage area first, then the exterior and finally the interior. The final check was written upon completion of all work on May 16th or just under 6 weeks. The wrought iron railing took longer than Julio estimated and we did have several rain delays. I don't think Houston Painting used any sub-contractors; I think they were all employees but I am not sure. The workers were thorough, spoke reasonable english and did a decent job of protecting the work area and clean-up. Not perfect but reasonable. There were a couple of relatively minor issues regarding the scope of the work during the project but Julio is a man of his word and satisfied me and my requirements. The project took considerably longer than promised but the quality of materials used, the quality of finished work and their responsiveness to my requests were excellent. Our lives were disrupted during the project but that would have been the case with anybody. I am very pleased with the job in total and the finished appearance of our house.

It was very good and they are punctual. I'll definitely use them again and recommend them again. They not cheap but they're excellent. I like the professionalism and he worked hard. He's conscientious and he was concern about the home. He makes sure of what he does and he has good communication. The main thing is that you get what you paid for. If you want good work, they're the one.

Every thing went great, Jose and his crew are wonderful and give all they have on every job. No mess, no worrying about my house, always on time, ready to work. That's what I like! I have referred many of my neighbors and friends to Jose and they are equally happy with him.
