    Martin Remodeling services, LLC
It went amazing, the relationship started with a 911 small project. The wall where my fridge had to go was designed to small being the house was built in 1979. His cut was so perfected that it slide In as if the house was designed for it. Then Harvey happened! I had many of folks wanted to get us back into our home! However, Mr. Martin and his wife where the first to call me to see how my family was doing and was quick to respond to give an estimate. As nervous as I was the job turned out better than expected. The better than it did before! He is an artist and his wife is a.natural!

    Lyndrixx Home Energy Efficiency
Michael is a very personable guy and our initial meeting where he came to my house to do a walk through to provide an estimate was good. We had a great conversation and I felt good about him doing the job. I was a little shocked at the price he quoted but he assured me for the service I was getting this was a "normal" fee. I took his word for it, which is on me. I should've gotten a couple more quotes before I made my decision. He charged me for "Hurricane Harvey Special" at $3.50/sq. ft. but gave me Angie's List discount of $3.00/sqft for 1,400sqft (actual was 1,350 sqft). The service included with the special: Insulation removal (did) Attic disinfected (did not do) Ceiling penetrations sealed (didn't have any) Blown insulation 14 to 16 inches (did) The initial arrival time was scheduled for Friday morning between 6:00 am - 6:30 am and he sent a reminder text the day before confirming the time. He called me the Friday morning around 6 am to say the guys were on the way but he was in Victoria and the trailer he used to hall his equipment had a flat. He then asked if I could send him $200 to get the tire fixed. Bad sign. I should've canceled the job right then but I liked the guy and so I sent the $200. At 6:25 am, he sent a text letting me know that Carlos, one of his crew guys, was at Home Depot and would be at my house in the next 15 to 30 minutes to remove the insulation. 30 minutes turned into an hour. Carlos and two other gentlemen arrived and started the insulation removal. It took them about an hour and a half to remove all the insulation but they had to wait for Mike to get to my house with the replacement insulation to complete the job. Mike arrived around 10 am with the machine that blows the insulation in the attic and the tools to install the solar attic fan. Solar attic fan was installed with no problems. Time to blow in the insulation and he couldn't get the machine to work. Around 11 am he left to go to home depot to rent a machine to finish the job. They returned about an hour or so later and started the job. While he was out I checked his website and he had a special on blown attic insulation for $0.99/sqft (1,350 sqft = $1,336.50) which I mentioned to him when he returned. He said that he quoted me $3.00/sqft for the Hurrican Harvey Special (now $2.50 on his website) and that's what I agreed to plus he had to make a profit. He knocked $200 off the bill but that was it. So I was basically overcharged $1,500 - $2,000 based on my research after the fact. The insulation he used looked like finely shredded paper. I so regret getting this stuff because it gets everywhere. I should've pushed for the installation of the insulation strips. Not nearly as messy. We had a nice conversation during the installation where he showed me pictures of a remodel he was working on. Looked like quality work. They finished up around 3:30 pm. He was in rush to get back to Home Depot to return the machine so he wouldn't be charged for an additional hour. I paid him and he left. I was considering having him come out to do more work for me but after I checked around on the price for what he did, there was no way I could trust anything he was going to quote for me. A hard lesson learned on my part - don't be so anxious to get the work done and make sure I'm getting charged for the service being provided.

    Critter Control of Houston
All of the Critter Control employees were extremely professional. This includes the office staff, the initial inspector, the crew who did the actual work, and the two followup inspectors. I can't imagine having a better experience. They have been a total pleasure to work with.

The upstairs rooms were extremely hot or cold during the seasons.  Jason informed me that I did not have any insulation in the upstairs attic and I was getting the heat and cold from the roof.    Since the insulation, my upstairs area is much cooler!
Jason is very knowledgeable in his field and he quoted me a price that I could not refused for down and upstairs attics.  He was on time at my home and ready for work.
Both attics were completed within the quoted time frame and a thorough cleanup job was done afterwards.  I am very pleased with Jason's work performance and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of attic insulation.

    SA Specialties
Our previous experience with a complete HVAC system change-out was with Arvell Moore of LaPorte, TX, which was a complete nightmare of an experience from start to finish. Our experience with SA Specialties so far has been the exact opposite. From the personnel to the equipment to the service, everything has been first class. I have been quite impressed with everything about SA Specialties so far, but something that really stands out is this - as stated earlier, we had contracted for a Lennox 4-Ton 16 SEER Elite Model XC14 Air Conditioning System and a 15 SEER Lennox Heat Pump, but when they arrived to install the new equipment, we had been upgraded to a Lennox 4-Ton 16-18 SEER Dave Lennox Signature Collection Model XC17 Air Conditioner and the compatible Lennox Model EL180UHE Series Gas Furnace along with an Aprilaire Media Air Cleaner Model 1210 at no additional charge to us. It seems the model we had contracted for was not available in their warehouse, so they gave us the next higher model that they did have available. What company would normally do this? Most companies we believe would delay the installation until the model we ordered became available in their warehouse. Customer service and customer satisfaction seem to be their highest priority. For the price that we paid for all that we received, we think that we have gotten an exceptional value. We would (and have) highly recommended SA Specialities to all our friends.

    Service Express Home Experts
We purchased a home from previous tenants that had several family members and pets, therefore we wanted to have the air vents/ducts cleaned to reduce pet dander, improve air quality, etc. The team arrived on time both days. First day they cleaned the air ducts and coils, sanitized, etc. They showed my husband the insulation areas that were extremely low or missing. My husband agreed to have them come back and do the insulation as well as install the UV light. The team was friendly and professional. Only problem I had was that they disconnected our cable in the attic and I didn't notice until later that evening.

    Fire Reconstruction Inc.
We were very, very pleased.  This company had professional, polite, prompt contractors who all did a beautiful job.  It seemed that each group of them "went the extra mile."  They came to the house almost immediately after the fire and made a detailed walk-through in the beginning, and again with the insurance adjuster.  They called or came by more than once to check on the job's progress.  Whenever we called with a question or concern, our calls were answered promptly and professionally.
We hope we never need this kind of work again but, if we do, this is the company we will call.  We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needs reconstruction following fire or water damage.
