Sheetrock Man was professional and waited for me to get all of my other issures addressed, which took a long time then checked to see how things were progressing. I had to call someone else in to finish my repiping job after 4 failed inspections by Y.B.PLUMBING( I have the inspections reports to prove this) The SHEETROCK MAN did a excellent job and I will refer him to anyone.

    MGA Remodeling
Miguel Gonzales, owner of MGA Remodeling, and his team did an absolutely fantastic job building custom cabinets, broom closet and shoe racks in the mud room / storage room and garage of our newly built home. We had 2 initial meetings with Miguel to discuss the layout, dimensions, types of wood etc, and over the next two weeks this team of highly skilled carpenters worked non stop and delivered a top notch product. They used only high quality materials and had all necessary tools and equipment for the job. The cabinets and shoe racks are very sturdy and well built. Our custom builder was at our house one day, saw their work and was so impressed that he asked for Miguel's contact info. Miguel and his crew were very professional, courteous and pleasant. They were recommended to us by Eddie Torres, owner of Luxz Painting & Designs who had done work for us before and whose team is now painting our cabinets. When all this is done we will be able to store away all items, big and small, behind doors and out of sight. No more clutter!

    Integrity Roofing
Terrance replaced the roof vents and fixed my door installation problems in a very timely manner at a very fair price. He was very professional and showed up when he said he would and worked fast and efficient. I'll definitely use him again.

Joe Ochoa Roofs & Even More
We had used Joe Ochoa before when we had a sizable hole in our roof around another pipe.  Perhaps squirrels had enlarged
it.   When we had called about that repair they came the very next day so they could get it closed up quickly before rains.  They had done an excellent job so we called them again for the HVAC repairs.    They came within a few days.    We were told some of the surrounding wood should be replaced due to exposure to rain.   The crew of two finished earlier than we thought.   We asked if they replaced the wood, and they said it was OK.   We called Josh, our contact, back immediately.   He sent them right back out to replace the wood and to let us know they had done it.     They were here longer that time.   We trust Josh to follow up on what
he says needs to be done.    They are a very good company!

THE PERALTAS Remodeling & Services INC.
Very pleased with the service performed. Highly recommended.
In addition to the paint job (see my other review),  The Peraltas company removed old gutters and replace rot-damaged wood trim around the house. The estimate I received was lower than other estimates for replacing trim (labor and materials).
Few days later, crew arrived, removed old gutters, installed new 1x2" trim and power washed my house in preparation for the paint job which I also ordered from the Peraltas company (the $1199 deal). Finally, they removed all the debris after the paint job was completed. Great job guys!

THE PERALTAS Remodeling & Services INC.
Very pleased with the deal and service performed. Highly recommended.
I met Samuel Peralta a week ago, discussed paint job details and other work required. I requested an additional work to remove old gutters and replace rot-damaged wood trim around the house. Few days later, after another crew installed new trim and power washed my house, the paint crew arrived and worked hard from start to finished. All minor concerns were immediately addressed. My house looks beautiful!

    HP&R Roofing and Siding
All of the work was done over a one week period, while I was on vacation. It was great coming home to a new and fresh looking home. Their craftsmanship was excellent. I highly recommend Houston Painting and Remodeling.

PS, Their quotation was not the lowest I received, however, they were the only ones who took measurements and then presented a clear and professional proposal detailing their scope of work and supply.

    Silver Oaks Residential Services
The work went very well.  The were careful to cover my shrubs and tape around windows.  Because they painted the wood one color and the brick another, they were careful that there was no overspray.
The crew kept me informed of problems encountered.  One worker cracked a window when removing old wood.  He informed both me and his supervisor immediately and replaced the glass the next day.  All members of the crew were courteous and conscientious.  They certainly did not mind my frequent walk throughs while they were working.  My dog even made up with several of the workers.
Obviously, I can't say enough about the workers. They went above and beyond.  They were so very friendly.  They cleaned up and moved all my concrete yard art back to where they were originally. One even moved a pallet that I didn't have the strength to move farther after getting it into the yard months ago.

Mr. Handyman of Alvin, Missouri City and Stafford
We set up an estimate with Mr. Handyman to have the corbels on the front of our home removed since one of them had some wood rot. The employee arrived during the scheduled window but didn't provide a written estimate. Had them check out a shower that needed repairs while they were here and they said they'd look in to whether or not they could make the repairs. Head from the company about a week later asking if we were interested in scheduling the original repairs. Told them I needed a breakdown of the requested repairs plus additional repairs they had suggested, and also asked what the response was on the shower repair. Never received a response with the estimate.
Contact with this company is difficult. They have some sort of issue where there email address and response address aren't the same, meaning every time you reply to their email, your email will bounce. Instead you have to find the other email address and send a message to that one.

    Turnkey Painting Plus
Rolando was punctual and polite. Rotten wood replacement was good.    It was all downhill after that.   I had to make them come back out on a Saturday because all work wasn't completed yet they were saying all was finished and were already billing me.  No caulking had been done and even now only windows, no doors were caulked.  They left a lot of debris on the roof and would have left  it there if I hadn't insisted they clean it up. They painted two exterior doors with the doors closed so there was an ugly unpainted edge around the doors when I opened them.  I had to make them fix that also.  Shabby prep work as far as no sanding of rough wood surfaces before painting.  I asked Rolando Ortiz how much paint to buy and he said 15 gallons, which I did at Sherwin Williams with a cost to me of $672.55.  They sprayed one thin coat of paint on my house, using only six gallons. When I asked about a refund on the paint, Rolando did not tell me that paint stores don't refund if paint has been tinted, and he said Turnkey was only going to give me $224.00, not the full value of the leftover paint. I thought that S-W would take back the unopened 5 gallon container but that is not their policy, and they told me that all painters know that. After calling Sherwin Williams I then called Bob Dimon at Turnkey and he was very rude to me over the phone and criticized me for buying the paint and was unable to control his temper.  He went on and on about how they could have gotten a bigger discount than I did.  I finally told him that it didn't make any difference how much of a discount I got - what mattered was that they told me to buy 15 gallons in the first place.  He was very worked up and he said he was going to take the $400.00 out of Rolando's pay - I guess he was trying to make me feel bad. Then he yelled "I tell you what - I'll give you a thousand dollar refund - how do you like that!!!"  He was very angry.  I told him that I only wanted what was fair.  He finally agreed to a $400.00 refund and I did give them all of the paint.  I will never do business with this company again and will certainly not recommend them to anyone.
