    AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! I had my car towed to AutoCheck Missouri City because it wouldn't start. They said the starter was bad. Starter was replaced but car still wouldn't start. They worked on it a couple more days and then took it to a "sister" store, Lone Star Auto Electric. Two days there and they still didn't have a diagnosis. They told me they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it without a $250 electronic diagnosis. I told them that they had had the car for a week and couldn't find the problem. I was hesitant about sinking another $250 with them after reading the other NEGATIVE REVIEWS. I asked them to put my original starter back on and that I would have it towed to Nissan. They agreed and the owner, Chris, said my car had kicked their butt and he had a lot of frustrated mechanics. After I had my car towed to Nissan, they advised the next day that it was in deed the starter. They said they couldn't start a new claim with my warranty company because AutoCheck Missouri City had accepted payment for the starter they put on. I asked Chris if they would send back the money they got from my warranty company or at least cover 1/2 of my Nissan bill since they had been paid for work that didn't fix my car. He refused any help other than to replace the cheap starter they originally put in with a factory Nissan starter. He stated if they did that, he would no longer cover any warranty work on the Nissan starter. I'm now out $898 that my CarMax warranty should have covered, had AutoCheck been honest. In my opinion, AutoCheck Missouri City is only interested in racking up large repair bills and will lie to you to get there. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! 7/24/19 Update: I let the owner, Chris, know that I had left a review on Yelp. He just called and told me not to bring my car there and never to come by their shop... NO PROBLEM, CHRIS!

    Alferdo came by to replace the front windshield on my truck. He tested it first and found that the water was not coming from around the front window. It was actually coming from the door. A lot of repairman would have just replaced the front windshield. He was on time and very professional and after talking to him. I found that he has years of experience. He fixed the chip on my wife windshield and you can barely notice. Great job.

    I paid for that, but I didn't have anything that needed to be fixed. It would be under warranty at this point. They're really good. They all charge the same. The workers that I come in contact with are very good. They always follow through when I mention there is a problem. They are very thorough.

    The cost was around $49.99, something like that and I had a coupon for $10 off. The price was okay. I don’t know how I would grade their price because I haven’t gone to any other car dealerships. I use them all the time.

    I heard about the airbag recall about 1-2 months after it was published online - which annoyed me - I had been going there for years, I was in their system. But probably headquarters, not in their control. I contacted them after 2 months of not being able to use my front passenger seat of my car (also kinda a big deal). I talked to them on the phone twice and they told me to come in and they would have a rental car for me. Same size as I had currently, no issue. I took off work early to go in for an appointment to get this rental car. I had to wait about 20 minutes to talk to someone. This is normal - an oil change usually takes 90-120 minutes there. When I talked to my repair specialist, he gave me a lot of attitude - like this recall was somehow the direct result of me mistreating my car or something. He told me that I would get whatever car they had, probably a compact - despite what had been told me on the phone. He told me that I needed to have someone with me because I wasn't allowed to leave my car there - news to me despite 2 phone calls. Since I didn't have a second driver, he couldn't get me a rental that day. I told him that I had taken off work early for this appointment and asked him how a person was supposed to know they needed a second driver if no one tells them. He actually shrugged and said not his problem. He said that he'd have someone call me to reschedule the appointment. No one did. Previous to this I had had many oil changes. No real issues - but nothing good either. I had a few minor and one major issue occur despite their "multipoint inspection" that made me question how good the inspection was. In particular a complete failure of a belt. Maybe the belt showed no sign of issue before failing...but that's not usually how that goes... Once my main maintenance handler quit, the professionalism and caring on my vehicle seemed to be lost. And ~$55 for a nothing-special non-synthetic oil change always seemed a bit steep to me.

    Ace Chip 'N' Crack Specialist Windshield Repair
    I just want to start this review by saying Ace Chip 'N' Crack Repair are the BEST with regard to repairing windshield damage. They were prompt, courteous and extremely knowledgeable all at a great price. I have used chip repair companies before who did not do a great job but as a consumer, I was unaware of the difference between poor service and great service. Scott explained all of the details and I feel like I am not only left with a solid repair but also consider myself an informed customer. Do not attempt to use large companies who train their staff for two weeks online and then send them out to customers without the proper knowledge or skill sets to do a proper repair. If you want the job done right, with integrity and at a fair price, I highly recommend Scott and Ace Chip 'N' Crack Repair!

    They are very good.  I have no complaints about Firestone.  I go to them for routine maintenance.  Both my cars are still under the manufacturer's warranty, so for anything major, I go back to the dealer.  I've used Firestone since I've lived in New York, and I have used them for over 30 years.   I always use them for my cars for general maintenance.  They're not cheap but they're not expensive.  They do quality work at a good price.
