My only concern is a longstanding one that I'm sure every customer has had over the past decade: long waits at the checkout, when frozen foods thaw and ice cream is out of the question. It's almost a laughable tradition that we've come to expect at HEB. The service desk is no better.

I arrived ten minutes early to my original appointment to allow time to fill out the necessary paperwork. The waiting area was fairly full with more people coming in after me. I waited for over an hour and still was not called back. Finally, an hour and ten minutes after the time of my appointment (that is, 1 hour and 20 minutes of total wait time), I gave up and rescheduled for the first appointment of the day on another day. I left feeling very frustrated at the lack of consideration given for the patients' time. The person working the desk was unapologetic about the wait. I left without receiving the services I had scheduled.
Their second and final chance with me was slightly better. I arrived before the offices opened and was the first patient through the door. Even though all paperwork had previously been completed and I was the first person to sign in, I was not the first person seen. I had, in fact, 20 minutes of wait time before they finally called me back.
I was told that Cheryl Vallie was running late that morning. I waited in the exam room for another 10 minutes before being seen by a student nurse. I requested a wellness exam to establish a baseline of my health. I explained that because of my age and current general wellness, I thought this the best time to do that. I was comfortable with her exam, thoroughness in answering my questions, attention to my concerns, and suggestions.
Cheryl arrived shortly after that. She supported the information that I had been offered by the student nurse. Her bedside manner was very good, and her advice sounded informed and authoritative. The services provided were basic, non-intrusive. I would have liked for it to have been a more complete screening (ie colesterol, blood work, etc), but by the time the exam occurred, I had forgotten to request this. Additionally, I decided it would be in my best interest to get a Hep A vaccination. Unfortunately, their office did not have any stock of the adult dosage, and I left with a prescription to get the shot at a local pharmacy instead.
I was told that nurse visits are also available if I needed to come in for a rapid strep test, flu shot, or something of this nature. I found that idea quite appealing as it should save on the wait time.
Overall, I was pleased with the care and service. From the time I was called back to the exam room, I felt the staff took good care of me. I did not feel the same warmth from the staff at the reception desk. I was a little shocked at the cost of the exam, especially after factoring in the time I had to commit (across both visits just to be seen). I was also disappointed that they could not offer the vaccination that I needed. (This was not the one stop shop I had hoped for.) The wait time for patients who had scheduled appointments was also a very big concern for me. It is my hope that what I experienced was uncharacteristic. I intend to use this provider again until it reaches a point that the wait time becomes a bigger issue than the services rendered.

It all went fine. They were understaffed at the time and their equipment had aged quite a bit, but the hospital has been rebuilt and it is brand new now. It seemed like they were well-staffed with nurses the last time I was up there. I didn't make appointments at the hospital and I have just been attended by my doctor.

I have used them for about 13 years. We go there because it is convenient and they take our insurance. We can usually get our prescriptions within 24 hours and if it is a regular prescription within 2 hours. I am pleased with their service and I will continue to go to H-E-B.

They are willing to let me explain my symptoms and tell them exactly what I'm feeling. They do not rush me. They take their time to really find out what is going on with my body so they know the best treatment for me.

We had a prescription called in for me and the nurse at my doctor's office made a mistake and called another pharmacy instead of Walmart so we ended up going to the other pharmacy and I wasn't happy with that experience.  We just don't do medications very much at all.  If we go to Walmart at all, it's usually just to pick up a few things.  We are not crazy about Walmart anymore.  If people ask me if I like them, I would tell them I don't, but if people don't ask me, I am not going to tell anything.  Their prices are fair.  Their quality depends on what it is you are looking for.  I will use Walmart just because I have to sometimes.

I was referred to Dr Hamilton during my pregnancy because of my increased back pain. The pain and discomfort made it difficult to do anything and I was barely entering my second trimester. I was treated with such great care. Dr Hamilton took the time to sit with me and listen to my pain descriptions and assess my physical well being. He has special beds for pregnant women so I was very comfortable lying down. It took just 3 visits in one week to knock out the pain. Went back a couple more times in the third trimester because we had been traveling quite a bit and my back and neck were achy. After my baby girl was born in April I went back in late June for a post-pregnancy realignment. My last appointment was July 6, 2011. I have convinced my husband to go since he has been having back pain. Dr Hamilton is knowledgeable and gentle. He can do regular "snap, crackle, pop" or soft-touch chiropractic care. He has great bedside manner and gives instruction on how to keep your body healthy and well.

My ear was jammed up with wax. Tried over-the-counter ear drops which did not work. When I went to this clinic, it should have been a red flag right off when they wanted payment up front. Dr. Faizullah just told me to continue with the drops and come back in a week. What he should have told me was 'go to the emergency room', but obviously his first priority was to collect another bill. Thinking a place called 'Emergy Care' should have been able to provide the same service as the emergency room for something so simple, it led me to believe I had to see a specialist... who should also have told me to go to the emergency room. So it took a week anyway, by which time the damage was done... tinnitus... loud, constant, permanent. I would have been happy to pay 10 times the amount of their cheesy little office visits if they would have just given me the proper advice or treatment!
