Worst experience EVER! We had our daughter's car fixed which was ok because my husband had taken the car in to be repaired. Then my 21 year old daughter had received her refund from school, and instead of being irresponsible with her money, she decided to take the car back to be evaluated for any other issues. Well she was informed that there was some other issues with the amount being around $800.00 dollars. ( now we had just paid for services of $600.00 about a month prior). She goes ahead to have so issues fixed, picks car up on a Monday, by Weds (2 days) the car is broke down on the side of the road. She calls shop and the owner is RUDE! I (female) call shop and the owner goes off on me saying "I don't speak on warranties over the phone" Then has NO clue as to what was done to car, then insults us by trying to say the can was not maintained properly (which was far from the case, oil changes maintenance was all up to date). After that I disconnected the call as I was not going to debate with someone who has no respect for customers. However I think his behavior is more towards disrespect of woman, as about an hour later he called my husband trying to be nice and asking what he could do to get the car to his shop. Needless to say I would not allow the car to be returned to his shop and sent the car to another shop, just to find out he placed the parts incorrectly. So if your a FEMALE go somewhere else! If you don't want to just hand free money over, go somewhere else! Almost $1,400.00 dollars wasted, she is a college student on a limited income, but it was a lesson learned.

It was very reasonable. I'm at a lost because I wasn't there because my wife took the car in and picked it up. I assume everything was done correctly, she didn't complain. They do a good job. Their prices are very reasonable. I wasn't there I haven't looked at my car, I'm just relying on my wife who just gets in it and drives. They finished up at the time I thought they would. They're very professional guys. They have a professional demeanor. They bend over backwards for their customers and with them the customers always right unless they really don't know about cars.

It took half a day. I talked to the manager. It was a good experience, they were professional. They told me if there were any problems, anything like that to let them know, they would do it again for free, it there was any problems there. Left car very clean, really clean. They could work on their professionalism and price.

    PROGRESSIVE AUTO CARE
Jeff and his crew have always been most professional. We have been going to him for several years. We also took my in-laws vehicle there and again they diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem and there have been no more problems. I am spoiled my son is a professionally trained, educated, experienced so when ever we had a car problem he always took care of it. Since he is in Oregon and we are in Texas that doesn't work. So Jeff has done the jobs for us as well as my son.

I go in to get my first "free" oil change since, according to the sales manager at the time I bought my car, oil changes are free at this dealership for the first five years or 100,000 miles. My FIRST thought was that it's not likely I'm going to drive 24 miles into the heart of downtown Dallas to get an oil change but who knows. I might. My second thought was that the dealership just padded the cost of my vehicle by at least $1,000 to cover service that, statistically speaking, their customers are not likely to use. Upon arrival I was greeted by a young vehicle porter who asked why I had come in and promptly radioed for a service rep to come to the drive in area to help us. That was the last positive aspect of the visit. After waiting 10 minutes with several reps walking past us while trying NOT to make eye contact another porter approached us and asked if we had been helped. We replied that we had not and he radioed again for a service rep to meet us. After another minute or so one of the gentlemen who avoided eye contact the first time we saw him approached and asked how he could help. I told him I needed to get my first oil change since buying the car. He took down some information on my vehicle and asked if we planned to wait. I told him we did and asked how long a wait we were talking about. He briefly conferred with someone from the shop and told us the waiting time for an oil change is two hours. I told him we could not wait that long and asked if he could move the cars that had us blocked in. Without another word (Hint: this is where the apology or explanation on the delay should have been) he moved the vehicle and walked away. I guess I should be glad he took the time to ALLOW us to leave.

    Christian Brothers Automotive
On the initial visit, I had to repeat myself over an over, because the representative did not seem to be listening to me. She consulted with a male employee, who proceeded to ask me questions in a patronizing tone. He tried to explain to me that it is normal for a manual transmission to "shudder" when the RPM isn't high enough, and that this was called "stalling." He asked me if I had tried downshifting when this occurred. I explained again that I have been driving this car for almost half of my life, I am very familiar with standard transmissions and how they operate, and that this was strange and unusual behavior for my vehicle, that operated optimally at lower RPMs than currently required. The next day I received a call from Christian Brothers, the representative explained that two of my cylinders were misfiring and the solution was to replace the spark plugs and ignition cables. He quoted me $420 for this repair, not including diagnostics, shop supply fees (what is this exactly?), and other "recommended" repairs. I asked for a quote by email and time to review and consider my decision. I decided that $420 for spark plugs and ignition cables was too pricey for me, especially since I am capable of installing them myself. I agreed to one of the other recommended fixes: my broken hood release and trunk release panel. Some years ago, the hood release would not work and was ripped out by a different automotive mechanic. Long story and nothing to do with Christian Brothers. They called me on Friday to let me know the work was complete and my car was ready for pick up. I informed them I was working all that day and would be unable to pick up my vehicle until Monday. Monday morning, this morning, I arrived at Christian Brothers and noticed my vehicle's driver's side window was all the way down. I entered the lobby, stated my name and my intention to pick up my vehicle. I then asked the representative, the same who originally spoke to me in a patronizing tone, for the reason my window was left down all weekend. His initial reaction was unconcerned and he told me he didn't know the reason. I explained that I thought it was very unprofessional for them to treat their customers' property with such disrespect, and that it made me very uncomfortable to know that the window had been down all weekend, leaving my car vulnerable to theft. He, still unconcerned, told me the car was locked from the inside. I told him that wouldn't stop someone from crawling through the wide open window and hot-wiring the engine. He didn't respond. Then I stated that it could have rained over the weekend. Still unapologetic and unsympathetic, he said they check the weather and roll up the windows if it's going to rain. I asked what they did when it rained unexpectedly. He did not respond. I paid for my repair and was asked to wait while he asked the tech, who worked on my vehicle, why my window was left down. A few minutes later he returned and said, still unapologetic, that the tech rolled the window down while working on my vehicle (the reason for this was not given) and he forgot to roll the window up. I responded that I didn't see why it was necessary to roll the window down for this repair, and if the techs can't remember to roll them up, then they shouldn't roll them down in the first place. I repeated how uncomfortable it made me that they treated my car with such apathy, and that I would not return for work in the future because I felt that I could not trust them with my property.

It’s good. I don’t know if it’s really an issue or not. I had got some kind of thing through them or you have 3 oil changes with them, and the last one you get it for free and they were going to charge me and everything for the last one and I told them I had this thing with them and everything and it took them a while for them to say that I do have that. We kind of argue and discuss that.

There were several cars waiting to be serviced but the service person came up to me immediately. He took my coupon information they had previously emailed me, swiftly checked tires, wiper blades and mileage then told me it would be just a few minutes. He was professional and courteous. I went inside to wait but decided to go outside due to the nice weather. They have free coffee, WIFI and water. I told the checkout person I'd be outside and she was very polite and asked my name so that she could let me know when my ticket was ready. I told her I was on my lunch hour so I'd be anxious to pay and be out as soon as I could. She smiled and said she understood. The service was performed in just under 30 minutes which I appreciated. Very satisfying service experience.

    Dwight's & Don's Auto Care
I have a little sports car and it has to have synthetic oil. That's where I take it to to have the oil change or any maintenance done to it. They do an excellent job. They're pretty fast. I sit there and wait for it. Probably within an hour I'm out. They're really helpful. What they charge is very reasonable. I've used them in emergency. My battery went dead one day. They sent a tow truck over to get it. They took it over and fixed. They sent somebody to pick me up, to go over and get the car. That worked out great for me. They explain everything they do to your car. That's the only place I take my car for maintenance.
