Garage Door Repair And Installation reviews in Mansfield

    Secure Garage Doors LLC
Our garage door was old and had jammed too many times. We called Eric with Secure Garage Doors and he answered our questions. Although it was late on a Thursday afternoon, we agreed on a model and price and he was here the next morning with the new door. And about 2 1/2 hours later, our new door was up and running perfectly. We were impressed with Erics responsiveness, he knows his business, is super efficient, plus very reasonable. We would use Eric again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!

I called FCD based on their positive reviews on Angies List and was very shocked at my experience. I was first told that my appointment was between 2-4 today, but the technician arrived at 1:30 with only a 10 minute notice. Very unprofessional to not notify me he would be early to allow me to arrive home before he got there. He then proceeded to try to gouge me with a quote of $175 per spring plus $45 installation. He also wanted to replace all the rollers which I quickly shut down. I was quoted a much lower price by another company and quickly called to double check their quote. I was told directly to not let anybody charge me $175 per spring, that is outrageous! After another call to a third company who was able to come out right away, I learned that FCD had been bought by a new owner and that they were now in the business of ripping off customers. No longer very Christian!

I called early in the morning, and they returned my call before their work day even started. He said that the technician would call me at 8am that day, and that happened. He had an opening that morning, and he came when he said he would. Then he replaced the spring and the garage door worked again. We were very pleased with the service and responsiveness!

I was at work so I'm relaying what my wife reported to me. We bought the Angie's List special of a $24 tune-up for one of our garage doors. The special did not allow me to purchase a tune-up for both of our doors so I called the vendor and asked what it would cost for the additional door. He said he would charge the same $24 for the second door. He came out and lubed everything on the first door, checked safety settings, etc. and was very thorough. On the second door he recommended replacing the plastic (builder installed) rollers with nylon bearing rollers, which are stronger and will last a lot longer. Charge would be $144 and he would wave the cost of the tune-up on the door. A quote from my wife, "Put an entire new set of rollers on the one car door, (the ones we had were plastic). He put in nylon bearing rollers which are stronger, and will last a whole lot longer. Looked everything over, lubed everything, checked safety settings, etc. He was very thorough and very nice. I would definitely call him again in the future and recommend him." I'll definitely keep him in mind the next time we need our doors serviced.

Wade was able to promptly schedule service and arrived when promised. I have a three car garage door consisting of a double and a single and a spring was broken on each. We replaced three springs (one as a preventative measure). His service and quality of the repair was thorough. I would recommend this business to a friend and use again!

    Veteran Garage Door
I called Veteran Garage Door based on the recommendation of a neighbor and high ratings on Yelp, BBB, etc. The call was placed at 11 am and they arrived at 2:30 pm as promised. A quote was provided and accepted and they replaced both springs. The work was quick and very professional. Interestingly Veteran Garage Door did not appear on any searches for garage door repair on AngiesList, only when entering their direct name. There is a systemic issue not finding highly rated local firms in general searches.

    Independent Overhead Doors
Everything went fine. The workers that came were a little careless like they threw their metal things on the driveway and made a crack on the brand new driveway. The guy who owns the place and the one I have talked to, to schedule everything. He did great. He was very professional and helpful. It was just the guys he hired that did the actual work were a little careless. I think they were in a hurry.

Alex and Anthony called earlier than the appointed time and were here about 30 minutes later.  Alex quickly assessed my problem was an issue with the sensors. He gave me a price and said he'd also look over the door hinges, springs, and rollers. He and Anthony did a great job and even gave me a discount for being a military veteran.  They did an overall great job.

    Mansfield Overhead Door
Fantastic.  Our old opener was noisy and would squeak and holler all the way down, and then hit the ground with a thud.   The new one was so quiet that the first time my wife hit the close button and went inside, she didn't think it was working because she couldn't hear anything.  She went back to the garage, and the door was closed.
Kevin was very, very professional and very friendly.  He is sort-of a perfectionist and wouldn't leave until he was satisfied. He does all types of doors, from garage doors to big commercial roll-up doors, so he knows his stuff.  Since then, I have recommended him to a couple of my friends and they loved his service, attitude and professionalism.  His prices were very competitive and he was able to respond quickly.  I can recommend him with 100% confidence.

Neighborhood Garage Door Service of Fort Worth
Arrived on time. Phillipo explained the problem, we agreed on price, and he proceeded to execute the repair. The repair included removal of a broken spring, installing twin springs (improvement) as well as replacing steel rollers with nylon rollers. The entire operation took about one hour, and the door operates properly (and quieter).
