    Dean's Handyman & Remodeling Services
Ryan and Drew did a great job. They repaired a water-damaged ceiling in our guest bedroom and installed hardware on two bathroom sinks. They were very professional and kept us informed as to what they were doing along the way. We will definitely hire them again for future work. Highly recommended.

Handyman Matters of Fort Worth SW
The estimated time required and price quoted was off by 50 percent. Instead of 1 day of labor, the job took 1.5 days. I was not informed of the extra time required until the day was almost over. By then I had to agree that the worker would return the next day to complete the job because the room was a total mess. Instead of the $ 680 estimate I had to pay over $ 1100 for the work.

    Maenner Contracting LLC
They did an excellent job as a matter of fact. Price was reasonable. They were there ahead of time sitting in front of the door waiting. I would use them again in a heartbeat. It was just one guy that came out to do the work. It took him a couple of hours because doing the drywall he had to wait on some stuff to dry he went and had lunch, it took maybe 2 hours.

    Handyman Connection
Celeste from Handyman Connection came out to our home to give us a bid. I was trying to decide between her company and another contractor to have granite countertops installed. We talked a few times afterward. We texted as well. I kept in contact with her constantly but didn't always get a response from her. I was ready to hire them! I had found some granite that I really liked. I told her about it, sent photos, gave contact info regarding the granite company and who to speak with. She said she had to talk to someone else in her company and supposedly passed the info to them. Then she said she would go to this granite company and check out the selections. I also spoke with the granite company and they were expecting a call from Celeste, but she never called. Then the other day, I get a text and I sent a reply. Here are the text: Good Morning. I wanted to apologize to you Rosilyn this is the first time that my granite place has not come through with what they said they would I als o went to a different place and seem to be having the same problem. I think the granite that you're wanting is so new on the market that not everyone has it yet. Which would mean that it's a very high dollars per square foot. I did not go to see Red I really haven't had the chance to go that way. I just w anted to basically tell you I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to take care of you as I promised. I don't blame you for going with someone else someon e who only does countertops. With myself and my company we do so much more takes a little bit longer. No excuses I apologize anything I can do for you in the future please let me know. 5/5/17, 12:09 PM So, basically, they blew me off!!! I was ready to hire them to do the job!!!! I sent her a response by voicemail and text stating there must be a misunderstanding and to please give me a call. No call back or response. By the way, the granite I chose was Low Level 2....not expensive, not exotic, just different from what you see at the home improvement stores. This type of behavior is why contractors get a bad rep! So, my advise to anyone out there looking for a contractor, don't call these people!

    Kitchell Construction
Bob is a gem. We have used him many times and will use him many more. He installed granicrete countertops in our kitchen at a fraction of the price of granite and they look fantastic. With the addition of under-cabinet LED lighting (Bob's suggestion) and replacement of ceiling light fixtures, Bob transformed our kitchen into a showplace. We hired Bob to convert the women's restroom at our church to make it wheelchair accessible. Bob had a difficult conversion but made it look great. The women in our church appreciated his professionalism. If something was slightly out of alignment, Bob corrected it. He wants his customers to be satisfied. Bob also created a concrete wheelchair ramp for us and replaced an incorrectly-installed door that had been on our fellowship hall for years. This required him to get a subcontractor out to cut and then reweld a steel frame on the building. Bob also replaced rotting wood on the church entrance with Hardee Plank siding and then used that same siding to replace our vinyl siding on a building in the back of the church. Bob also came up with an innovative way to convert my attic space into more storage room than I could have rented locally. This has really helped with things around home. Bottom line: If you want to have one person that can do electrical, plumbing, beautiful countertops, and general carpentry, call Bob Kitchell. Bob is also a general contractor and knows how to find quality help to oversee large jobs. Bob will be back working for me personally and for our church as well. We appreciate that he has integrity and wants to keep satisfied customers. You'll hire him as a contractor, but he'll leave as your friend.

    Art Tech Remodeling & Painting
I contacted Art Tech through Angie's and Ben got back promptly. We talked about the job and after I sent pictures Ben said it would run about $450. We agreed on a date and Ben even called back and offered to come sooner but I was going to be out of town. Ben showed up on the agreed upon date, on time with his helper and immediately went to work. About four hours later, the damage was repaired and they did a great job. The best part was it was on $400 as opposed to $450. Great job, I would definitely call Ben and Art Tech again!

The Rhino Energy Crew include some of the most professional, knowledgeable, and respectful folks ever to help us improve our home.  Not only was the price fair and the work done in a timely manner, they by far exceeded our expectations.  I can't wait to see the savings on our electric bill this summer. I would not hesitate to call them for other jobs at my home...they really can do it all.  The repair to my garage wall( where I hit it with my car) is better than the original tape/ bed/texture job.  I would definitely recommend Rhino Energy Solutions to my family and friends.

    Randles Rainbow Inc
When the person came out, he was only here for 7 hours, not the 8 hours, as stated in the deal.  He was supposed to fix the garage ceiling, put down flooring threshholds in 5 doorways, and put about 4 pieces of baseboards in that were about 3 feet in length each, and also to sand down two sides of a door frame.

He got to each of these jobs, but did them badly.

The ceiling is not level.  It now has a large bump from one end of the garage to the other where the patch work was done.  The threshholds were nailed in, as opposed to being installed correctly.  two of them are even installed at an angle.  These were expensive, special order pieces.

I told all of this to Mr. Randle, and he came out, and said he thought it looked better to him.  I didnt argue with him because I was tired of arguing with people that dont do their job correctly.

    Santiago painting
Popcorn removal is a mess and often overpriced because contractors don't want to do it.  Santiago was very professional, asked questions to help me understand the work needed, and was super reasonable.  It took him a few days more than anticipated to do the job, but we had a ton done and kept adding little drywall or painting projects, which was cheap since he was already there.  He came based on a recommendation from a friend who had Santiago do three other houses, Would definitely use him again.

    Meza Property Services
Arrived on time and was dressed nicely.  Talked about what would be involved with the repairs we needed.  Gave us an estimate.  Gave us the option of buying the materials ourselves (which we took). His charges were labor only. Took several days.  At the end of each day he cleaned up the area where he was working.  When he was finished he put everything back nicely.
