    Austin Wedding Planners by Rosa
Rosa was fantastic to work with! We were looking for someone to help with day of coordination and Rosa was perfect! We had several meetings leading up to the wedding - venue visits and timeline planning. I’m very detail oriented and Rosa was great at laying out all the details in an easy and organized way. She was great in keeping in contact with all our vendors so I didn’t have to worry about that anymore which was a huge stress relief! The wedding was perfect! Everything turned out the way we wanted. Rosa and her team were so well organized and firm, but not bossy, with our guests when it came to our timeline and agenda. We had one vendor fall through on the day of the wedding and Rosa and her staff were so professional and on top of it. My fiancé and I didn’t find out anything until after the ceremony, and by that time, Rosa and her team has already handled it! Rosa and her team are well seasoned professionals who took a lot of the stress out of the little, but important, details of all the logistics to coordinate the day of the wedding. We felt confident going into the wedding that everything was well planned and ready to go because of Rosa. They were so wonderful to work with! My fiancé and I were able to relax and just enjoy our wedding knowing we were in good hands. 5 stars, would absolutely recommend! Thank you, Rosa!

    Austin Wedding Planners by Rosa
Rosa and Austin Wedding Planners were amazing! Rosa was not only our Wedding Planner, but she became a friend throughout the process. She truly cares about making the day you dream of come to life. Rosa takes the time to get to know you, your partner, both your personalities, your chemistry with one another and, your wedding ambience/vibe you strive for. Rosa was very good about keeping us on track and on schedule. Also appreciated that when we procrastinated on certain decisions we needed to make, or we fell behind her schedule, Rosa was realistic about how much time we had and didn't panic or freak out. As a testament to her professionalism, you could really tell she has the respect of her peers. When we spoke to all of our vendors, especially the venue, officiant, florist and caterer (which have the best insight to how good a coordinator is) they were all delighted to hear we were using Rosa, and both excited and at ease knowing they would be working with her. Rosa is extremely detail oriented and punctual, obviously two very important traits for an event planner. But she also did a really great job of adapting to our personalities. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Rosa and we would recommend her over and over again!

    Stratford Events
We hired Stratford Events for their "Final Details" planning package, which is basically their version of day of wedding coordination. My mom and I met them at the Bridal Extravaganza and even though we weren't planning on hiring a wedding planner, after talking with all of the vendors at the show, we decided it was necessary. And I'm glad we did because it was the best decision we made during the entire planning process. Having someone there to help us in the end was such a stress relief! Roxy, our planner, attended a venue walk through with us, prepared a timeline and made sure we had all of the vendors we needed for the wedding. Which was a blessing because we had completely forgotten about programs, of all things! She worked with the church coordinator during the rehearsal, and when the day finally arrived, everything was perfect! She and her assistant made everything so relaxing for us and it was great because my mom really got to enjoy herself! Thank you Stratford Events for making our wedding day so enjoyable!

. Rosa Gibson was the co-ordinator and she hired extra people. She was very prompt. On our wedding day she was there before we got there and the last one to leave. She made sure that the entire complex was exactly how we wanted it to be and they did not charge us any kind of fees or anything. We did most of the wedding planning she was kind of bear her services. She showed up and kind of ran all the different vendors. She went above and beyond in that she made sure that we had vendors that we did not think we had nor even thought of yet. She would remind us of things that we may have forgotten about. If we needed to hire extra people she found good prices for hiring people and would give us recommendations. She was really cool. She did more than what we hired her for. Her price is low for what she did. She is super friendly. She constantly made sure that we are on track. She called all the vendors to make sure what time they needed to be there and made sure that everyone was on time with their schedules and things like that.

    Barr Mansion
They were excellent.  It's an all inclusive venue where they provide the food, coordination, table set up and all that stuff.  They offer organic food.  The meal changes with the season and what they harvest during spring, summer and fall.  That is neat.  You have a tasting night where you come in and go through the options that you preselected for the wedding night.  They also have an old mansion available for the bride and groom to get ready before the wedding starts.  They also have a beautiful gorgeous garden.  I am happy and it's worth it because I don't have to worry about anything.  I just showed up and that was great.

    Your Wedding Your Way Austin
Stephanie from Your Wedding Your Way Austin had great ideas about what we were trying to do and she was helpful even though we didn't use her. She was helpful even though we already had everything set up. I met her an outdoor event and she asked me to tell her about my plans so that she could see if she could make anything easier for us. We were in Texas, but were getting married in Louisiana so we didn't need her to come out just for that day. For our after wedding pictures she sent me some people that she worked with. I was really surprised by how friendly and helpful she was. She responded to my emails and everything. She was great.

    Right Before I DO
Her services should always be considered when planning a wedding. The owner, Kasey, treats every couple she works with like they were family.

Our daughter and her fiance had their hearts set on having their wedding reception at Laguna Gloria, with food and limited seating inside the villa and dancing on the back terrace and more seating outside. They live in New York, so, as the mother of the bride, I got the ball rolling. I met with Laguna Gloria's event coordinator and put down a deposit for the date; the coordinator had a list of planners who had worked successfully with Laguna Gloria, and CLINK's name was on the list. At our first interview with CLINK, we met the designer, a young woman who was personable and seemed to be well-qualified. The designer and her more business-oriented team partner, "B," both attended our next meeting; they assured us that their job would be to minimize stress for the bride and groom and their families, especially during the week before and the day of the wedding. We signed CLINK's contract and put down half of their fee. Our next step was to work out, in a 2-3 hour meeting, a budget for the event, including an item for a rain plan. CLINK made vendor recommendations; their suggestions for the caterer, florist, photographer, and DJ were excellent. The planning process bogged down about six months before the wedding, when we reached a 6-week impasse over the bid from the rentals vendor suggested by CLINK. Although we finally reached an agreement, our level of trust in CLINK started to decline. At meetings and in emails from "B" to our daughter, "B" stuck with CLINK's templates for wedding receptions, although our daughter, early in the planning process, clearly identified the areas in which she wanted to deviate from the templates, and "B" had agreed. The effect was to further undermine our confidence in CLINK. Communications from "B" became so distracting during the week of the wedding that my husband asked "B" to restrict them to him alone. Thirty-six hours before the ceremony. "B" called my husband to announce that her weather forecaster was predicting a 30% chance of rain on the wedding day and that she was going to implement the rain plan. The rain plan featured use of a tent, the price of which had more than doubled since we agreed upon a budget; moreover, as we had emphasized to B more than a month before, the bride was very reluctant to use tents. My husband pointed out that other forecasters were predicting a lower risk of rain and that the bride wanted to avoid using tents if at all possible. "B" told my husband that, if he refused to allow her to implement the rain plan, CLINK would require him and me to sign a waiver of liability in the event it did rain and that she would not guarantee that the vendors would show up for the reception. Under duress, he agreed to the rain plan. On the day of the wedding, "B," contrary to our request concerning direct communications with anyone but my husband, called the bride, who was more than upset. When we arrived at the church, "B" was dressed unprofessionally. She was disorganized and abrupt with the wedding party. Her behavior at the reception was no better, and several guests commented that she and her assistant had been rude. Rather than making the week before and the day of the wedding less stressful, CLINK increased the level of stress exponentailly. To those outside the wedding party, the event was seamless and beautiful. To those in the wedding party, especially the bride and her parents, it was anything but. Ten days after the wedding, we sent Tanya Posavatz, an owner of CLINK, a letter praising CLINK for its design and for certain vendor recommendations, but also detailing problems. She replied by email to my husband, suggesting that we meet to talk over the letter. We did so. Overall, Tanya and her business partner defended CLINK's actions. With respect to our complaints about the behavior of "B" on the wedding day, they said that they believed us and that a planner with more experience would have handled the situation differently. They confirmed that ours was the first big wedding for "B." They did not apologize. Their parting words were that they hoped that, over time, as we looked at the wedding photos, we would remember only the "good parts."
