    Black Diamond Plumbing
We were very pleased with the work that Black Plumbing Diamond did for us. They were less expensive than other quotes we received, very reliable and fit us in quickly. Plus they were good communicators. They are at the top of our list for future plumbing needs. Great company.

Vince was on-time and on-budget. He and his 'trainee' got to work and got the job done quickly and efficiently. This was our second time to use this company and service. I don't rehire folks who haven't done a good job in the past.

1st Home & Commercial Services LLC
They were called 1st Plumbing Services.  I found them through Next Door, a neighborhood web site.  It's local, close to me.  They had to bring my water heater up off the floor so it would meet code.  They were here about five months ago like November of 2016.  It was in the neighborhood of $20000.  They did really good work.  The work was good.  I was kind of upset because I was in a bind, I have an elderly mother and my hot water went out and so they gave me a quote, this was my own fault though,  I feel that the price of the water heater was a little high.  I could have probably went to Home Depot, bought a cheaper one, just as good and had it installed but the work itself was good and so was their response time and everything.  It looks like it's a really good water heater.  There was one worker who came out to complete the work.  It didn't take that long for the work to be completed.  It was probably a couple of hours.  Everything they did was good, like he had to raise where the water heater sat and plumbing work and he put a little thing to make sure that, it's like an alert system feature that I know the water heater system is working.

    Plumb Masters, Inc.
I asked them if they could at least look verify some basic checks on the septic tanks but they insisted they couldn't and I was hung up on. When I called back to speak to the manager she went on and on and wouldn't let me get a word in. They also claim to be a 24-hour service but they apparently leave their office early and have no forwarding number.

    Prostar Water Inc
well whatever caused the continuous purging had worked itself out by the time the tech got here.  he checked the system and found it to be operable.  he also checked my water softness to be sure it was working.  he did not charge me anything for the service call!  he also gave me some information for when i do eventually replace my current system.  i had already been looking into removing the chlorine from my water.  with all the good reviews on this company and my own positive experience with them i would be inclined to purchase my next water softener from them.  thanks so much to Jon, the service tech.

All Cen Tex / Cen Tex Septic & Vacuum Pumping
We had been having intermittent plumbing problems for some time, an they finally reached a point that we realized they had to be because of a maxed out septic tank. On December 30 many companies were closed for the holiday week, but thankfully, All Cen Tex was doing business. My husband talked to them and answered questions about our tank, and they agreed to come the next day, New Years Eve. There was an extra $70 added to their basic rate because our Manchaca location is slightly our of their service area, and it took them some time to negotiate their truck down our winding narrow driveway. That was fair.  I have great admiration for the driver of the truck who was able to back it down the driveway and into a position from which they could reach our tank with their hose. This was a great crew, and I recommend them without hesitation.

Called on a Monday to schedule service ASAP. Agent on phone was very polite and professional. Quoted the job and provided all the needed details in respect to pricing, weather, and what would be completed. The tech showed up next day and was polite and efficient. The job completed the job as expected.

    Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning
It was fine. I would not recommend them other than a big deal because their prices are astronomical. Something broke off in their hand and I had to have another plumber to replace it. It could have been broken already. I have no way of knowing. I would not use them in the future.

    Church Services
We called Church Services (previously Christian Brothers), because the tankless water heater in my mother-in-law's house stopped producing hot water. They were supposed to call the next day to make an appointment, but I did not get a call, so I had to call again to remind them and they sent the technician out just a few hours later. I can live with that.
What I cannot live with, is this: the technician checked the water heater and told me it had to be replaced. He gave me the option to have it repaired and said the parts would cost about $2,000 and it would take 2 to 3 weeks to have them delivered.
That's a long time without hot water. Also hard to understand why it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get parts ...
So I asked about new water heaters. In the book they have with the products and prices, he showed me a tankless water heater for $4,200! He told me the price included installation and warranty. On top of that (since the water heater runs on gas), there are permits to be obtained (which I understand, it's not avoidable), that would have cost an additional $275. Also another charge for additional work that needs to be done, because it is a mobile home and the source of energy is propane gas. This charge was about $192.
I told him that $4,200 is out of the question, whereupon he told me that they have a financing program.
Next thing I asked him about a tank water heater. That kind of water heater would have run us about $1200, again including installation and warranty, excluding above mentioned permits. The technician gave me an estimate for this service, and it would have cost us around $1,800 including tax. I should have asked about the difference of $3,000 between the tank less and the regular water heater, but unfortunately I didn't.
I called my husband and we decided to get a second opinion. So the technician left me with the estimate, which would have cost about $190, but he didn't charge me for it.
Today I decided to look up similar services on Angie's list and comparing prices, I was shocked and appalled. I don't think there are even any tankless water heaters available for $4,200, even though this price included installation and warranty.
$4,200 still seems like insanity to me. I have no explanation for this and I feel violated because they obviously tried to overcharge us, and not just by a small amount.
We are regular customers and used them also for our HVAC services. Needless to say, we'll never hire them again.

    Austin Culligan
They tested the water from all faucets and inspected the system. They could find nothing that needed repair and gave me a very thorough explanation of how the system worked. I asked for an estimate for future which will remain good for 90 days I believe. The price was great, very very pleased with the entire experience. I would most definitely recommend Culligan for any water services they provide and will use them myself hands down when the time comes.
