    Very professional-
    I called the company and scheduled an auto glass
    replacement. I was very pleased to receive an e mail confirmation of the
    appointment with a picture included of the installer that would be
    coming to do the work at my home. He arrived on time in a well marked
    truck and presented me readily with his business card. The work was
    done quickly and efficiently and he even WASHED ALL MY CAR WINDOWS AND
    VACUUMED IT THROUGHOUT !

We feel that we have always received an honest opinion on what needs to be done and been charged a fair price to do it. The work is not always done as fast as some of the and quot;drive thruand quot; shops can do it, but it has always been done right and I'll take that over fast any day!

    The experience went very well and I will definitely be going back. I have a high-mileage truck and wanted a general auto maintenance inspection to see what was needed, and I ended up having the battery replaced. Corresponded with Henry throughout the whole process, he was very thorough in explaining what was needed with the vehicle, was competent in explaining the details. The shop ended up doing a couple extra things with the truck. I really felt like the crew were using their brains advising me what was needed, and helped me prioritize the up-coming maintenance. In my opinion, they went the extra mile for me and didn't nickle and dime me.

    I called the phone number on Friday afternoon (which turned out to be an answering service who said they would have Dave call me). Dave didn't return my call until Saturday morning but said he could come to my house that afternoon. After waiting until mid-afternoon without hearing from him, I called Dave to ask about an arrival time. He said he would be there in about 25 mins., and he was! They did an excellent job of replacing the glass, with attention to detail to the point of painting rusty areas caused by previous replacement jobs. The only thing I was not happy with at the end was that he told me that I would need to vacuum up the bits of broken glass myself. Well, their price was considerably less than anybody else so I guess you don't get all the frills on a budget.

    I dropped my car off in the morning and told them about the leak. I did not hear back from them until I called them near the end of the day to enquire. They said it was nearly done, and almost closing time so I should come for it. They never called me with a diagnosis or estimate. They just went ahead and did the repairs without my approval. The leak was fixed accurately. The price was ok, not too high, not a bargain. They did not clean the oil residue on the engine from the leak that had been there, it was very dirty and oily so it took a while for me to be sure that they had actually fixed the leak well. They left greasy hand prints on the fender. I am a former mechanic and a little bit picky, so I would say you could safely go here for decent repairs without getting ripped off but don't expect anything terrrific.

    Our car broke down in early 2008 and when the wrecker driver picked up the car, we asked him for a suggestion as we had experienced terrible service from other shops. He recommended Ben White Automotive. Although I don't recall the charges from that incident, they were very reasonable and the repair was less than 24 hours. We have been loyal customers since. Oscar (the Shop Manager) and crew are great at diagnosing the problem, contacting you with options and making repairs at a reasonable price. In addition, they will make recommendations to services or repairs that need to be performed at a future date and never hard sell. The shop sits back off the road on Ben White and are a little hard to find, but well worth the search.

    We scheduled an appointment for a Friday afternoon. There were problems with delivery of our windshield to Capitol Lites, but they were willing to go pick it up and work late to get it done for us. Since this wasn't essential to drive the vehicle, we voluntarily rescheduled for Monday afternoon. Everything went as planned on Monday. The windshield/rear view mirror, etc. work fine.

    We dropped our car off one evening and picked it up the next afternoon. They were honest and didn't suggest that we fix everything and gave recommendations about when to check the brakes again. As for the dashboard light, we either needed to change all the tail lights, or get out of the car to check the tail lights, when the dashboard light came on randomly to find the bulb with a loose filament. (We did the later and found the broken bulb ourselves.)
