    FOREST SHADOWS PET RESORT
I arrived on time (in the morning) had to wait for help.....I would think mornings are the busiest and extra staff would be needed....but I didnt mind waiting. The ladies at the desk had to call someone from grooming so I waited a little longer. I told her again just what I wanted, she said she understood. I asked how long and she said it would be about 3 hours, but that someone would call as soon as the dogs were finished. I stressed it was important for me to know when they were finished so my dogs didnt have to be caged any longer then necessary and that I lived no more than 25min. away. I waited and waited for their call....I finally called around 3:00p.m. and found that they had written down the wrong phone #. When I asked why they didnt call the emergency back up # they said they only used that for emergencies and they figured I would call at some point! I really didnt (and still dont) understand that! As for the grooming job I think they could have cut a bit more off but I will chalk that up to perception and not a big deal. The one complaint that I do have is their nails didnt look like they had been touched or if they had it was a minuscule amount. I will keep looking for a more responsible groomer.

I've used them three times now. It's $40 per pet. The groomers are nice, patience and listen to me. They visited with me and spent time with my pet. I got to watch how they are with my pets. They are transparent and open with my pets. They are professional and the cut was clean and nice. It was good. They are $10 less than what I have paid. They are very busy. I would use them again.

    Bone Jour Pet Salon
We have used Bone Jour for several years now.   It seemed our dogs would always have razor burn, cuts and irritation when using other groomers.  Our Vet recommended Bone Jour.  We are so glad we gave them a shot!

In the past, the dogs hated going to get a hair cut.  Not so at Bone Jour.  They are always happy to see their groomer!   I never have an issue making an appointment.  The dogs are always done in a timely manner and look fabulous!   No irritation on their tummies like we have had problems with before.  The staff is friendly & you can tell they love our furry babies.

We have recently moved out of state and we are going to miss Bone Jour.  When we go back to Arkansas to visit, we will bring Dock and Lilly with us just to get their hair done.

    Pampered Paws
It was great. She actually used to work for the large pet store in the area. We search her out because she did a good job on our Bishon which is not easy to cut for most groomers in the area. She listens and Rea Ly cares for the health of the animals. Other stores focus on upselling the customer versus including basic things like nail grinding in the cost. Her place is quite quaint and decoded with a warm dog friendly atmosphere. Very clean. She is the owner/ groomer. We have tried many different groomers in the area and they can not do Bishon cuts. Many groomers cut Bishons like poodles. Our dogs looked like they came from the groomers. Even our Rott who normally would have hair all over the place came back with very little shedding. She had brushed him very well. No matts or nots were missed in the Bishon or shitzu. They smelled wonderful.

    Chevy's Room and Groom
Excellent Care and Service. Being new to the area, I didn't know a lot about the boarding places for pets. I will always take my dog their for boarding. You can tell they love your dogs just like they were their own.

    A'lure Pet Grooming
My retired champion dogs are not better or worse than my rescues who I would want treated just as well as a show dog. If they are so concerned about the quality of service they could provide to a show dog owner (who knows a good groom/groomer), then I would worry about them working on my rescues, mixed breeds, or client dogs. They should be providing quality service to all clients. If they are worried about making a mistake in a shampoo and blow dry - then I will gladly go elsewhere. If I were a companion owner, I would wonder why they refuse service to an owner who knows how to find the mistakes.

    Chevy's Room and Groom
We love Chevy's! We took our beloved pooch there for most of the months since their opening. With a move to another state, Chevy's is one of the places we will miss most. They took care of our dog as if he were their own. I visited many doggie day care/boarding businesses in the Tomball area, and Chevy's was by far the best. Their prices are very reasonable, and the owners are some of the best people I have ever met. I highly recommend Chevy's, even if it's not the closest place to you!

    Chevy's Room and Groom
If I could give Chevy's an A+rating, I would! When we moved to the Tomball area, I visited many dog boarding businesses. Some made me sad to see the little sterile box where my dog would be. Some kind of made me upset with the extra fees for an additional 15 minutes outside in the small square of grass. I found one place out of them all where I felt comfortable taking my dog. THEN, I found Chevy's. I was not only 'comfortable' leaving my dog there, I was happy to take him someplace I knew he liked to be. When I left my dog at Chevy's, I knew he would be treated like family. I can't imagine more caring owners. And, their prices are very reasonable...in fact, I think they should charge more! They are far less expensive than the other cage-free facility where I was 'comfortable.' We moved from Texas, and our dog stayed at Chevy's that last night while we were at a hotel. When we poked him up in the morning, I actually cried knowing our lives would no longer have that one very special part. Yes, Chevy's truly is the best. Even if it's a bit out of the way from where you are, Chevy's is so worth discovering. You and your dog would love it there!

    Banfield Pet Hospital
Took my little dog over to Petsmart for nail clipping. Edna was able to work us into the schedule right away. She asked me if I would like to go ahead and have my dog bathed and clipped. I usually do it myself, but decided it would be nice to see what he looks like after a "professional" groom job. They called me a few hours later and I proceeded to pick up my dog. He looked pretty good and seemed happy to see me. I was charged about $70 of which I was a little shocked. My dog is no more than 14 pounds and was not in bad shape as far as his appearance goes. Later that day, my daughter asked "what's wrong with the puppy"? He was furiously licking his underbelly. I took a look and noticed a 3 inch long  bloody wound stretching from his privates down his midline. It looked very sore as though he had been either burned by the clippers or cut by the clippers. I was livid. I can actually accept the fact that accidents happen in these circumstances. What I canont accept is that I was not told about the mishap. The groomer HAD to know. The dog would have cried from pain, and there would be blood present. Why would she choose to not tell me? VERY BAD.

    FOREST SHADOWS PET RESORT
Our elderly toy poodle is groomed at Forest Shadows Pet Resort because this is the only place where he is trimmed exactly as needed, and he has no place where he has been nicked.n I feel that all of the employees here love the animals, and the professional that grooms our little guy holds him like she loves him and always does a teriffic job.
