    This company is hard to review. It started out fantastic. However, over time, as people quit, things went downhill. The high quality standard was lowered and more and more things were missed. Saundi went from only texting to not responding at all. They missed several appointment on a reoccurring schedule with no phone call, text or anything for "emergencies" and illnesses, etc. When we did communicate, we got excuses and attitude where there were non previously. They are pricey and that was fine for the original quality of work. Now, they are expensive for the work you do get and any service could give you that quality for quite a bit less. In addition, we were told she never does a job "like ours" for less than $200/visit when on most weeks she never even was required to touch 3 small rooms and often times 1 large room, making a 3100 sq ft house quite a bit less. They start out great but then decline. You will never see her after your first visit or two.

    Further down are items that were not cleaned properly. I can see I was much too patient. We discontinued this service 12/29/16 after using them over a year with the same two cleaners. They charge more than other cleaning services. In the interest of saving time, I would re-clean an item(s) and let it go. Brian, the owner, asks if there is a problem, to report it within 24 hrs. either for his inspection or for the crew to re-do what they were supposed to do the first time. That could take hours of waiting out of my day. Now that's cutting into my valuable time. So far Secret Service hasn't offered to reimburse me for my time. Even if reported, most problems are never completely solved. When I mention things to the crew, they agree to cleaning more carefully but don't always follow through. Our philosophy is that the job should be done right the first time. This appears to be a training issue as well as an ethical issue. Here are problem areas for us: -Dust: Lamps and large items are sometimes left dusty. Large glass items on furniture often left dusty or smudged. They run tape rollers over upholstery but leave very dusty corners on seat cushions. -Floors: The tile floors have never been completely clean - dust and dirt is often left on the surface, in corners, and along baseboards. A wet paper towel wiped anywhere right after the crew leaves comes back with brown-to-black dirt on it, frequently with dust and loose debris. I have spoken to Brian, the owner, and the cleaners. His excuse: it is inevitable that a dirty water film will remain when mopping. I asked that they change the mop water a couple of times - I don't know if they do. They used a huge industrial mop that is dirty looking and wet when they arrive. I gave them my mop and cleaning solution to use instead. No change. -Baseboard molding: Cleaned only once on request. It was supposed to be detailed on a rotating basis. -Bath Floor: Parts of the floor around and behind the toilets are occasionally left dirty. -Master Bath & Powder Room: Sinks still need cleaning about every 3rd time. They appear to be wiped but still spotty, sometimes black hair on the rim (not ours). -Faucets: No cleaning of granite behind the faucets. -Toilets do not look clean even after I asked them to use powder cleanser. I redo most times and they come clean with a spray cleaner and the brush. -The bronze finish on the sink stoppers in Master Bath has somehow been nearly scrubbed away since using this crew. They don't know why. -Granite bath counter backsplash ledges left dirty. -Medicine chest doors left dusty and spotted. -Front of a small cabinet left dusty. -Black streaks on baseboards from vacuum running against them. -Scratched and chipped wall corners, cabinets and furniture from hitting with the vacuum. -Dust - Dust behind objects sitting on the floor. Dust left on lamps or large objects. -Often leave unwiped areas under objects where they have used Pledge Wipes around them rather than sliding them to one side to wipe under it. -Throw rugs: Four small to medium throw rugs - they will not shake the rugs outside and insist on vacuuming them. They are dusty when I shake them later.

I was very happy that Letty's team could come on the day requested and they were finished in less than a day. The house was cleaner than its ever been and the windows look great!

    They did a great job - were here for about 6 hours and never stopped working. They cleaned things I would never have thought of cleaning - as well as all the usual items. Our house is sparkling. Would definitely use them in the future.

    Initial contact with XL was made quickly and services were scheduled and confirmed.  They accommodated us on a date and time that worked best for us.
    Two ladies arrived on time and did a very good job.  Our home had not been professionally cleaned for several years and there was a lot to do on the initial visit.  I was especially happy with bathroom and shower areas.  They paid attention to detail and did a great job on the blinds and ceiling fans. 
    We have two follow-up appointments remaining on our service package and I plan to engage this company's services regularly based upon this positive experience .

    The Cleaning Authority
    To sum it up, their "cleaning" and communication skills fell way short.  It seemed that it was always something with this company.  
    1. Small inadequate vacuum cleaner.I asked that only my vacuum cleaner be used and not the tiny portable they used in other homes. Mine has a HEPPA filter. They insisted on using the portable in certain areas.
    2. Not cleaning under furniture. After several months I discovered that the ladies were not cleaning or mopping the tile floor under my bar stools, behind and under my couch (5" off the floor), and two chairs (8" off the floor), as well as end tables. Strange, because they had to pull out the couch and chairs to clean the blinds! Other cleaning ladies cleaned under these things without my asking.
    3. Windex on wood furniture! When my wood furniture starting looking dull, I found it was because Windex and other cleaners were being used. I asked that only Pledge be sprayed on the wood furniture surfaces - their response was that it would constitute "polishing" and they only "clean" by spraying their clothes and wiping around objects on the tables. 
    4.  Dusted blinds half way up. One helper was dusting the blinds only as far as her arm would reach and not to the top. Others would use my step stool to reach the top.
    5.  Not shaking bath rugs.I was puzzled as to how the bath throw rugs were being cleaned or fluffed up because they were not shaking them outside! Unless I asked each time, they would not shake the rugs.
    6. Their mop left floor dirty. The day after the last cleaning I wiped up water from my kitchen tile floor, and the wet paper towel came up dark gray. The tile floor was still dirty. I did the same in other areas of the house and found more dirty floors. They possibly were not rinsing the mop often enough.
    7. Missed their call from "unknown" number. The last time they were due to clean they said I wasn't home and tried to call twice. I was at home and had my phone in my pocket. I checked my phone and saw one call with unknown number, preventing me from calling back. The answering service could not give me the number of the cleaning person, he could not reach them, and getting no answer from the main office, he had to leave a voicemail message with the main office.

    Larry and his crew have cleaned my house for the past 10 years and do a wonderful job.  I have asked him on numerous occasions to change the day he cleaned and he has ALWAYS accommodated me.  I have recommended him to several friends and they have been pleased with his work.  He is honest and I feel very comfortable leaving him alone while they are cleaning.  He will do any extras I ask of him and his charge is minimal.
