    GREENSCAPE INNOVATIONS LLC
NO CALL, NO SHOW!! The worst! When I called to find out why no one ever showed up or even bothered to call me they told me I was 're-scheduled' but I was never told about it. They offered to send someone out that day but if this is how they do business and are this unorganized I don't know if they could do a good job. Everyone's time is valuable and I try not to do business with companies that don't seem to care about it.

    Bison Fence LLC
The actual crew arrived the week prior and was not sent with all of the materials needed to complete the job. We were charged extra to have 3 2x4's instead of only 2 which was fine as long as the fence pickets would be more secure. The crew left on Friday without completing the job and was to come back on Monday with the necessary materials to complete the job. The crew never showed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. On Friday March 3rd the salesman and some other man showed up and began to complete the work in the dark. Obviously the salesman is a salesman for a reason and not part of the crew. The crew had done a fantastic job up to the point to where they ran out of materials. The salesman and the other man had absolutely no business doing this work. They began by putting the 3rd row of boards flat instead of sideways (the way the crew had done them) and proceeded to use a nail gun at MAXIMUM POWER to DRIVE the nails almost clear through the pickets. The nails they used were 3 1/2 inch framing nails instead of what they should have used (standard picket nails which are about 2 inches long). The nails went through the 2x4 with the sharp side of the nail sticking straight out of the boards. In some places they whacked at the nails with a hammer to turn them down (which looks horrible) and in others they just left them sticking straight out. Furthermore, they ran out of nails for the nail gun and started beating nails into the rest of the pickets leaving hammer marks all over the pickets but the salesman assures me that the boards will snap back into place, no way!!! The nails were not even uniformly applied. It looks like an ocean wave going across the fence. It is a shame because we were so excited with the way the fence was coming along, that is, until the salesman decided that he was a fence builder. I would not allow these people to build me a doghouse. We had asked for an estimate to do the other two sides of our fence as we split the back fence with our neighbor (so the price described was just our half) but after this there is absolutely no way I would have these guys complete my fencing needs. I will not recommend them to anyone I know. Stay far, far away from this company. In the salesman defense I will say that he offered to put wood putty (grey in color-at least that is what the color they used on our neighbors) over all the mess they made!! Totally unprofessional in 1. Not sending the necessary materials in the first place 2. Allowing a salesman to attempt to install a fence. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company doing any work at my home. Totally disappointed in this business and of course in this eyesore of a fence that I now have to look at every day!!!!!!!!!!

Done Deal Iron Works & Access Controls
Completed in five work days including touch up painting and cleanup. One panel was installed slightly crooked. We asked for a replacement, and they took care of it by the next day. One minor glitch we decided to live with - the latches were installed on the outside of the gates instead of on the inside like our old fence.

    DB Fence Co
David, was on time to our meetings and on budget. The schedule was delayed during the process due to 5 days rain, but that wasn't their fault. Nature just happens, and you deal with it. The team left some mess on the project. However after a quick call, the team was out and made it all look great. Thanks David and Team.

Done Deal Iron Works & Access Controls
I was pleased with the work. It was easy to schedule with them.  They showed up on time and finished easily in one day.  One glitch   (fence crew was unaware that a stump obstructing the proper was to be removed) was remedied with one call to the office. The stump removal crew showed up very soon after the call, and took the stump out without any delay in fence completion.  Fence looks great. All the men were very professional, as is Mr. Garcia. He is very responsive and easy to work with.

    Texas Fence

This whole experience has been a disaster. We chose Texas Fence because of all the positive reviews on Angie's List. I don't know if they have had a recent change in ownership but our experience has been nothing like what has been described in other reviews.

They required a large deposit up front to start the project, approx. 3,000.00. Our job was scheduled to start 10-5. my neighbor removed the existing fence. After no one showed up on that day. we called them and found that our job was never scheduled and moved to Thursday 10-9.

They finally showed up around 12 on the ninth, and started on the front fence. This is after I explicitly told them to do the side fence first. Than after the installer told me that they were going to do the front fence first and didn't know when they would do the side fence. Wow.

I soon found out my neighbor told the installer that he wasn't ready for the side fence to be installed. So they rescheduled the entire job without telling me, even though I am the one paying for the job. A phone call would have solved this whole issue, but I never got one.

In the end, the communication and service were poor. A few weeks after the fence was finally complete, Trey called me, apologized and explained the scheduling problems. The one positive I will give this company is the quality of the work was excellent.

    Residential Fence & Deck
Over the years, trees and limbs have fallen at various places around the fence.  Other places standing water rusted the poles.  Brian come out, walked the entire fence line and gave me an quote.
I agreed, we scheduled a day.  He came with 2 other men and got to work.  it took them 1 1/2 days but they knocked it out.

    Fences By Rose

We have a very large lot on a golf course and then we purchased the adjacent lot and wanted to extend the fencing.  Initially, I was reluctant to use Rose because they are known to be "slow" but a friend that had work done told me that the price was much less expensive then others and he showed me the top quality fence they fabricated from "solid core" steel.  My friend is a retired, Corrosion Engineer, in the offshore oil industry and a perfectionist to boot.  Rose can provide other manufactured fences like our existing Ameristar galvanized fence but the price goes up and we have a couple of acres.  My friend also said the solid core steel fence they provide will never rust and would last 30 years.

Rose owns the company and Mary, her daughter runs it. There are no Presidents /Vice presidents or salesmen with fancy cars.   Rose is getting up in years but she came out to review but Mary runs the show now.  It is a small family operation including the key trademen. I got bids from several "A" rated firms in our area and Fences by Rose was half the price. They do work slow because they can get very busy.  It is best to pay them in milestones. One at the start for materials.  One or two during the installation and one at the end.  We had no problems whatsoever.  The work was indeed slow and took two months from order to finish but everything went extremely well. We are very pleased and basically after the initial walk through my wife handles all the details with Mary.

Since the initial work we have had them come back to put in some additional gates not previously planned and currently we have brought them back to install six additional brick and stone pillars and a 14' painted steel gate (with Texas star) and opener.  This other work is presently underway.  One contractor wanted $2700 for each of the 4.5' pillars and Rose charged about $600.  If you have the time to let this family operation work through their schedule there is no other choice.

    360 Fence Company
JNK Fencing was not responsive from the start. I had to make several phone calls to schedule a time to speak with them. They finally came out for an estimate and when I indicated that I wanted the job to be done, they could not confirm a time to start. I had to proactively call several times to see when this could be scheduled and I never could get a commitment. While they may look for the larger jobs to do (I have no idea), certainly a repair job in my case was not something that they appeared willing to do. In my case, I certainly could not recommend them to others for their no professionalism in responding back to the customer.

    Quality Control Remodeling

They exceeded my expectations. Fixed everything I asked for including several items that I didn't think could be fixed. Both men were very personable. I really got a bargain. My wife is excited about the flooring and our boy's bathroom problems. My life will be easier because these things were fixed and fixed well.
