    My fridge went out on a Saturday. I started calling around to find emergency service but had no luck. I tried Angie's List and Advanced Appliance was the first one I tried. Chris (I think) answered and told me that he didn't do weekend repairs but he walked us through some troubleshooting and was even able to help us get the fridge to work temporarily! We made it through the weekend and got a technician out to repair it on Wednesday. He was super nice and it was awesome that he took that time to help us out!! I wish he serviced our area! Thank you!

    DO NOT USE HIM, HE WILL RIP YOU OFF. I had him fix my icemaker and I paid him. He told me it would take up to 24hrs to make ice. After 3 days of no ice, I called him to tell him that it wasn't working. It took him 3 weeks (full of excuses) to come and "replace" my icemaker. Still not working. He is now ignoring my calls. I have all our conversations and work to be done, documented. He only accept checks so I cant get my money back. I used him because of his Angie's List rating but after looking at his Yelp, Yahoo and Google reviews, I see many people who were ripped off. I am so angry that he took a lot of money from me knowing that I was a single mother on a limited income. BEWARE AND CHECK HIS REVIEWS ON OTHER SITES!!! Angie's List, please check into this provider!!!

    Negotiated a flat rate contract for 307.80 that would include repairs, parts, service, etc. It eventually turned out that the covered repairs could not be effected. Company took $100.00 for substandard work from a company, MasterTex. Performance from subcontractor indicates that they never intended to perform any repairs. Instead technician Max said would order parts but these parts are no longer made so no repairs could be performed, and the washer is unrepairable.

    The service borders was so poor that it borders on fraudulent. Unfortunately, incompetence is not considered a crime, but have submitted the facts to the Texas attorney general. Called the24-hour number for LG that were on the washer and found on the internet. I was referred to LG Service Dispatch where Justin talked me into buying a Flat Rate Contract for $307.80 that would "cover all cost of repairs, parts, etc." We made an appointment and said the the vendor would be "Master Tech Appliance Repair." Unfortunately, without a phone number for the service vendor, I found the wrong company which did not know anything about the service visit. Day before the appointment, MasterTex Appliance Repair called to notify of an appointment. We returned the call for more details, and the call was referred to a blank phone mailbox. Left message and the dispatcher called back after the appoinment time. SO we had to reschedule for two days later. Max, the service technician, showed with no identification in a small yellow car bearing a box of tools. After conferring about the problem, he opened the entire machine and checked connections with a voltmeter. He then closed everything up and said he needed parts that it would take two weeks for them to arrive. He left a repair authorization that looked authentic. Not sure what his comments were, but did not query him about his notes. He never showed again. The vendor was very defensive when we asked what was happening, and were told that the parts were no longer available and that the washer could not be repaired. MasterTex referred us to a warranty company to recover our money.

    They actually used various independent contractors. We had a very good experience with them, they did just fine. It was very good quality of work. It was well done and plus instructions on how to prevent it ourselves, that was a plus. They did a good job. I remember it was a reasonably price. I don’t remember how much it was, but it wasn’t outrageous in any way, shape or form. The worker was a senior citizen who was an outstanding individual.

    When requesting the service, I noted that we had had paid $55.00 for appraisal to be attributed to the service charges. Jay replaced the air-gap on top of the counter top and replaced the hose from the air-gap to the disposal. But when we used the washer again, water leaked as before. We called the next business day and Jay came out later that same day. He found that there was grease in the hose he replaced and removed it. When writing this review, I noticed a discrepancy om the receipt. When I queried the company, they were unconcerned. They claim the receipt that Jay delivered to them had only a total for the visit, and this was the amount that we owed. It is disturbing that the receipt we received was approximately the same as the Angies List coupon. It is suspiciously like they boosted the price to cover the additional cost. The manager noted that they had the correct receipt and billed us accordingly. According to this receipt, they added We don't use the dishwasher that often so this is something that we are totally unfamiliar with. Hope it doesn't happen again.

    I called Mr. Appliance out to repair my washing machine, they needed to order the part to repair it and I was told it be 7 - 10 days. I agreed to wait. I called their office the day before my scheduled repair to ensure they had the part, I was told they did in deed have it and the technician would arrive the next day to install it. He showed up at my door without the part and told me it would be 2 weeks before they had to part. I wanted my money back since I did not have a working washing machine a week later, and it was denied. There is NO customer service pr customer satisfaction with this company all they care about is the money. They make their money by scamming innocent people out of their money and not actually repairing appliances. I will NEVER use them again and I am telling everyone I know not to use them.

    It took several calls on my behalf to get them to come out in the first place. I didn't hear anything back when he told me he had to check on a part. I called the office they told me he forgot my phone number. Finally the part was ready after several days of not being in contact for days . He just showed up with no notice. I asked for an invoice, 2 days after the fact I still had not gotten one so I called the office they told me it would take 5 to 7 business days. Finally after a month i got everything resolved . It was not the same level of service I get from other service providers .

    My concern was that once i told Mr Archer that I had a coupon for a free service call, he may have determined the problem was more expensive to repair than to replace so he simply blew this off. The tenant being late for the scheduled call was a good reason. I want to use small businesses as I believe in supporting local economies. Yet, this is one more time I have had trouble with what appears to be a business involving a single person. I am discontinuing use of what appears to be a small business with a single employee.
