Me moved our IRA's to Tims company after meeting with him and then in 2009 we invested my lump sum pension with him. He continually grows our money and for the first time in our married life we are making money. He is easy to talk to and to understand. We are making more money than we ever did in traditional brokerage houses. In In 2012 we also invested my husbands lump sum pension.. Everything is moving in a positive direction. Tim meets with all his clients every three months to go over all your accounts. His office is small, just himself and his secretary, Margaret but you are made to feel that you are their only clients! We have referred about 8 friends to Tim and all have gone with him after the initial meeting. All are so happy with their results! He is a whiz on understanding everything about social security and reverse mortgage if those services are also needed.

get an appointment with my current adviser My wife passed away in 2011. Subsequently I took her 401K  from a company that lost half of it in 2008 and opened an account with Edward Jones. There's one on every corner so they should know what they're doing, right? Wrong. I gave them $ 48,000.00 to invest in what the adviser suggested. A month later it was worth $ 38,000.00 Great. I transferred the account to another Edward Jones location hoping for better service. Here's the problem. When I gave the original amount to Edward Jones it was all taxable. Upon advice of the new adviser the money was placed in an IRA and every year I transfer the most allowed to a Roth IRA. Another problem; my tax adviser tells me I'm being taxed twice on the original amount, thanks to the way the account was set up. Edward Jones reports the transfers as taxable income. Upon learning this I attempted to find out what is going on. I've been waiting 2 weeks and was just cancelled again today. Seems like someone doesn't want to talk to me. ( the T.V. commercial about the adviser meeting a couple late at night is very misleading ).
It's been 3 years and I finally have what I gave this company in 2011. They have made a lot of money off of me and not only have I made nothing, I'm paying the IRS twice on the same amount. DO NOT have anything to do with this company. They will ask you to tell them about every penny you have invested or in a bank account, or under the mattress for that matter. Their goal is to obtain total control over all your finances. That's how they make a profit, and they are very good at it. Not so good at making money for the customer though.
