    During the repair I was concerned that the electrician spent more time than necessary, talking incessantly and complaining about people. I suspected he was trying to extend the service time, and therefore the cost. Finally, I left him alone so that he would stop talking and finish. A few nights later I noticed the new light is dusk-to-dawn, but not motion activated, like the one he replaced. I called him back and told him. He replied that he had never heard of one that was both dusk-to-dawn and motion activated. I told him I would try to find one. I went online and found them everywhere. I called him back, informed him, and he said, ���Oh, yeah. We/They have those down at the shop.��� Assuming we were communicating, I waited a few more days, but nothing happened. I called him back a fourth time and asked him when he would finish. He told me the light he had installed was now used equipment. I replied, ���That���s not my problem.��� I said it politely, but he got angry, rude, and personally insulting. He told me I was whining, which was not true. Finally, I had to hang up. In retrospect, I believe he wanted to sell me the light he had with him, rather than make a trip back to the shop to get the right one. I have written R.D. twice, and, to my knowledge, they have not responded I reported this to the Better Business Bureau, and they sent me a copy of his response: "I told him if he wanted to go get another light fixture at Home Depot, I would change out the light fixture. I am not going to refund him any money." This is misleading. When he claimed he never heard of a dusk-to-dawn motion sensor light, I said I would search for one. I never said I would purchase one. When I told him of their availability, he admitted he was familiar with them and that R.D. had some in stock. I wondered why he had not thought of those earlier. My friend, who used R.D. in the past, is a Registered Nurse. After this incident I called her, and she said she stopped using him because he acted similarly with her. She suspects he is chemically impaired. I am a retired EMT and retired pastor, and he impressed me the same way. However, that is only an opinion by observation. I want him either to correct his mistake or refund my money. His refusal to do so, and R.D.���s lack of response, make them appear unprofessional or unethical. This is my opinion, and from the best of my recollection. I do not like doing this, but his performance was inexcusable. Mainly I want to protect others from him.

    We called out RJ Electric because of a recommendation from a friend. Jason came out and repaired the breaker with a temporary fix right away. He also quoted me for a perminant solution of replacing the entire meter bank. Jason talked me through the process and estimated how much time it would take to receive the parts. The parts didn���t come as quickly as planned but Jason called me and told me exactly what was going on. I never had to wonder or call to get information. The quick fix was $211 and the replacement of the full meter Bank on the building was $1900.

    Electricians came in during the time slot that was promised and were professional from the start. They introduced themselves and asked what the problem was. They explained what they were going to do to diagnose the issue and then explained what they were going to do to fix it. The problem was fixed and they cleaned up after themselves to leave the area looking as it did before they arrived. The process took less than one hour to complete.

    Not been from the area and needing some things done around my house were two things gay didn't mix well. I finally south the help of Angie's List and boy am I glad I did. That's where I found Howard Home Improvement. They came out did a free estimate and sched im services for a few weeks later. I had interior painting done as well as TVs mounted. They both look great. Great price and great service. Doesn't get much better than that! I have already scheduled my next appointment.

    Great customer service - including sharing his expertise and offering suggestions and options to us since we were not 100% sure what we wanted.   We no longer need to look for an electrician in Lubbock - we have one.  He and his assistant, AJ, did a really great job for us.   We could not be happier.
    It's not often that I get to hear these words from my wife, "honey, you did a great job!"  (when you picked Matt)
    He delivered great results (above and beyond) within estimated price.   He even handled some last-minute additions from my wife with a positive, can-do attitude. 
    I actually cannot write a positive enough review.  We are very grateful for his hard work and we will use Lubbock Lonestar Electric again.
