    Jon Wayne Service Company
Jon Wayne Service Company is the best and most professional company Ive ever dealt with. It was such a relief when they helped in getting the cost financed. I knew I was in trouble not knowing how I was going to get the work done and pay for it. Jon Wayne was recommended by a member of my church, and I really believe Jon Wayne was a Blessing. Being from Virginia, my family has been so blessed to relocate to Texas. Thank you Jon Wayne.

    Texas Shield Insulation
It was great working with Juan Reyna. He responded quickly to my request on Angie's List for a quote and when scheduling the job. The installation went well and he submitted the CPS rebate application for me immediately. I highly recommend this company.

    Liberty Builders
My husband and I have used Liberty Builders for much more than just a room addition. Our relationship with Liberty Builders began 27 years ago with installation of siding and windows, and they are about to start our most recent project, A COMPLETE RENOVATION OF OUR KITCHEN! As years went by and our family grew, we also utilized their services for a garage conversion. From that moment on, we were hooked for life. Every person who has seen the garage conversion mentioned how impressed they were with not only the quality of the workmanship, but with the unique design that was used to utilize space most efficiently. More years went by and children blessed our home, so rather than moving into a larger home with a mortgage, we called Bob (the owner) at Liberty Builders... Problem solved. Initially, Bob felt the job was over his head, but with the help of my persuasive nature, Bob called in engineers and any other experts required for designing a plan to extend our home, adding more than 450 square feet, as well as relocating our back patio to allow for more privacy. Once again, there was not a soul who saw the work who did not comment on the fact that it does not look like a remodeling job, or extension, from either inside or outside of the house. Even the inspectors from the City of Live Oak commented to us about the high quality of everything from the materials to the workmanship which went way beyond minimum expectations, passing inspections with flying colors. Liberty Builders did an incredible job, well within the projected completion date. We have also utilized Liberty Builders to replace our fence, our roof (more than once due to hail damage) and add a designer retention wall in our front yard. Our siding was also damaged by hail on two sides of the house, but was covered by the warranty! At that time, the color of our trim had been discontinued, so Bob made sure the trim was replaced on the entire house, using a new color of our choice. (We liked it even better than the original color!) He even threw in a roof and paint for our shed, so that the shed would match our house perfectly. Having a Type A personality, I notice MANY details that others may not notice, so I admit I can be hard to please. Regardless of that, I NEVER felt hesitant to express myself to anyone who worked on our various projects because it was obvious that their goal was always to ensure that we were COMPLETELY satisfied. My input was addressed promptly and courteously, even when I changed my mind about some details along the way. (If our roles were reversed, I am certain I would not have had the patience that they demonstrated!) Over the years, we have had neighbors, friends, and family members contract with Liberty Builders to do various siding and remodeling projects, including my mom. Also, one of our sons, a United States Marine, recently returned to San Antonio and purchased a home for him and his growing family. As soon as they get settled, he too plans to call Bob to contract siding (and who knows what else!) Of course, we have started planning for kitchen remodeling, a sprinkler system, and a deck in the backyard thanks not only to Liberty Builders, but to the magnificent financing available through SACU. Well, my review may seem too good to be true, but I am more than happy to discuss our experiences in person and even share before and after pictures. Just ask Bob Deana G., Live Oak, Texas

    Insulation Works
The workers from Insulation Works were punctual, professional, and personable. They arrived on time and finished our attic insulation quickly. They left our house and garage very clean. They checked our HVAC unit in our hall closet to make sure that the insulation did not get around the system. Insulation Works also filled out the forms for our rebate from City Public Service and filed the forms for us. We were shown photos of our attic before and after the job was finished.

The installers were complete professionals. They arrived when they said they would and went right to work. They kept me informed as to their progress and completely cleaned up after themselves. I recommend this company.

    Champion AC
Once my console was finished we set the installation for the following day.  They arrived promptly at 9am as scheduled, and got right to work.  By about 2 pm they where finishing up and even took my old system to be discard.  And in that short amount of time I was relaxing in a cool house again.  Once they where finished, they cleaned up after themselves and you would have never known they there.  I was overall very pleased with the whole process.  Like I stated previously,  they were very professional, courtesy and prompt.  I would recommend them to anyone who asked.

    Insulation Works
When I told Manuel Contreras that I would not need the audit, he asked me who put in our radiant barrier, he started in right away saying that he had worked for several companies installing insulation and that he had worked for the company who did our radiant barrier and started in to tell me what he disliked about them. It made me very angry and I told him he could just leave if he continued and that I'd never use him again. I did not need nor want his opinion. My husband and I did our research before choosing the provider. I have never had a provider act in this manner in my life and I'm far from young. No wonder he's worked for so many companies. He was very rude in my opinion. When he finished the codes and top on the back door and closed it, I mentioned the weather stripping on the door bottom. He informed me that wasn't covered. I checked the fine print and it says: "Deal is for standard doors and weather stripping. Nonstandard doors or weather strip can be done for an additional cost." The weather strip on the bottom of the door is standard, nothing special about it. Never at any time did he offer to do it or tell me the cost. He just went straight to the front door. The reason I purchased the deal was because the bottom door weather strip needs to be changed badly and neither my husband nor I can lift the doors to do so. Any idiot can change the side stripping pieces. Because they used white caulk instead of clear around the windows, and we have a dark-colored trim, it will have to be repainted

I could not be more satisfied.  I was scheduled for an in-home estimate within days of contacting them.  Based upon several estimates I have received recently for insulation, the price was completely reasonable.  I was also offered a significant discount on having the doors and windows weather stripped/sealed, and I was not pressured into doing a lot of additional work I did not want.  The job was scheduled to be completed within 10 days, which was in line with my schedule.  The appointment was confirmed a day in advance.

On installation day, they explained what was going to be done, covered everything in my garage with plastic to keep it from getting dirty, and completed the work quicker than estimated.  They showed me various pictures of the attic before and after, which demonstrated they got the appropriate amount of insulation in the entire attic.  They also did a very thorough job cleaning up.  I pointed out that one of the doors had a worn sweep at the bottom and asked if it should be replaced.  Instead of charging me $99 more, they indicated it did not needed to be replaced at this time.  It is hard to find that kind of honesty dealing these days.

Finally, they completed and submitted the paperwork to receive a rebate from CPS for me.

I have already recommended Insulation Works to another homeowner, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone I know.  I am also really happy to have had a local, family-owned small business do the job.

When they finally showed up, because my husband works early in the morning, I told him to just let them weather strip the doors and not even inspect the attic because they came so late.  Yes, I had an appointment but they came 4 hours later than scheduled.

    MURPHY'S INSULATION
Murphy's staff did a complete change out of our A/C system and installed a Rheem 14 seer, 3 1/2 ton system.  They repaired all duct work in the attic and adjusted the digital thermostat to the new system.  Great job.  They changed out the hot water heater with a new Rheem 40 gallon water heater with upgraded specs.  They constructed a 24" wide sub-floor walk-way down the center of our attic to enable maintenance to be done on our utilities wiring, duct work and water lines.  They installed 5 light fixtures with light switch and electrical plug.  They installed 2 thermostatically controlled exhaust fans in the attic to dissipate heat.  They installed insulation throughout the attic.  They also installed 3 outdoor light fixtures and repaired a 4th.  All work was done on time within a two-day period.
Would I use them again?  You bet I would.  The crew worked well together.  They cleaned up the work site and hauled away the debris and used components from our residence.  The price they quoted to begin the project was what we agreed on and paid.  I would most definitely recommend them to others.
