  • The icemaker just starting working again about 2-3 hours before my scheduled service call. I called to cancel and was told that they were glad that it starting working and to just give them a call if I needed anything. Will definitely use them for any of my repart needs.

  • I was hesitant to call a repairman to service my ten year old refrigerator. I was considering just purchasing a new one since it was so old. I went ahead and submitted a request for service through Angie's List and was immediately contacted by Rick. He was very accommodating and fit me into their schedule for that evening, allowing me to not have to miss work. My repairman was Robert. He was very friendly and professional. He willing answered my technical questions and explained the steps he took to diagnose the problem and the steps necessary to make the repairs. I have had other repair work done over the years but this was by far the best and non-stressful experience I have had. I would definitely hire them again.

  • OMG - I didn't know where my 220 BOX was located. I'm from the northeast and up there 220 boxes are with regular circuit breaker boxes. Texas - it's outside. Here I thought I was checking the breaker and the technician was so awesome and not teasing me helping understand. He was so professional but more informative than anything. I love that about good service. I was also offered a coupon for the service.

  • The problem continued soon thereafter but Since I didnt ask for a recheck within 30 days the company wouldn't send someone out again when I called a few months later to let them know the issue persisted. I take responsibility for the delay on my part but it doesn't explain the missed diagnosis. As well, when I called to talk with them their customer service rep said they couldn't come out for free because after 30 days "someone could have done something to it" - NOT what you should say to a customer.

  • It was terrible. They never completed the job. They ordered the part and never finished it and it took me 2 times to get it even diagnosed. The first guy completely missed it and it took the owner to come and diagnose it and then they were sending the guy who missed it back out and I told them not to come and that I only wanted to deal with the owner.  I texted the owner and he never contacted me again. They wanted to add $300 and some to replace my ice maker but what it was is the hose in the back with a hole in it so it was doing water damage at the meanwhile and he just missed that hose and that was my chief complaint when I called in. He either made the hole or missed it. Either way, I didn’t want that guy back to my house. They were going to charge me $100 to come back with the part and install it so I didn’t think I should have to pay for another service call.

  • Paul came out on June 2, to diagnose my dishwasher's problem.  It turned out to be a problem with the inlet valve not closing properly, and causing water to not drain, which resulted in water leaking out of dishwasher onto kitchen floor.  The tub gasket was also worn and needed replacing.  Paul ordered the parts and when they came in, I was notified promptly.  We scheduled a day and time that was good for me, and Paul came back out to install the new parts.  He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional.  He took the time to thoroughly check the dishwasher, after the new parts were installed, to make sure everything was working fine... with no leaks and no other problems.  Paul also answered any questions I had.
    I am very happy with this company, and will gladly use them again.  They let me pay half-down  ($103.55) when Paul ordered the parts, and the other half when the repair was completed.  This worked out well for me, and I highly recommend SoBella's Home Services.

  • Really excellent service.  Jose called to let me know his time of arrival and was there on the nose.  He immediately knew what was wrong and had the part that needed replacing.  He gave me credit for a coupon that was available on Angie's List that I was unaware of.  I may be out of the loop as far as cost for appliance repair, but it seemed a bit steep to me.  Times may have changed, but in the past, service/diagnostics fees were often applied to the total bill if service was done . . . (that is to say, subtracted from the total fee).  If that had been done, the price would have been more realistic.  Still -- First Priority seems to be a really great company and I will absolutely use them again.

  • I left a message to schedule appointment, call was returned approximately 3 hours later.   Appointment was scheduled for next day between 2-4.  At 3 I received a call that the prior appointment took longer than expected and it would be 4 or a little bit after and I would receive a call from the technician prior to arrival.  Technician called about 4:25, arrival was a bit longer than was told due to Friday afternoon traffic.  Technician was very professional and got right to work.  In the end I was told that the cost of the repair would make purchasing a new refrigerator a better course of action.  I was assured that the refrigerator part was still working effectively so I had time to research my purchase.  When asked about recommendations on brand, I was given information on the technicians experience on several brands repair needs.

  • My new washer stopped washing in all the wash cycles and would only fill up water. Even with filling up with water it would go past the fill line. I called Jim's and the owner  showed up at the appointed time. He unplugged the machine from the outlet and then from the washer to make sure there wasn't a problem with the water. It turned out that it was a lot of hard water sediments at the inlet valve that was causing the issue. Once Jim cleaned the inlet valve, he reset the code and the washer was just fine again. I was really happy it wasn't anything more expensive. Jim explained to me how I can check it again if the same problem occurs.
