  • No work was done. Out of at least 6 calls to this business, only one was answered by him. He told me he's backlogged for 3 weeks and will be out of town for 3 more. I waited that amount of time and called twice after that. Again, no answer. I left messages with my name and phone number both before and after the one time he did answer, but he has never called back. He has so many good reviews online so I'm guess he's busy, but that does not excuse his unprofessional and inconsiderate attitude towards potential new customers.

  • Mr. Riley was extremely accommodating with the drop off and pick up time. The mower was ready to go in three days. It runs like a champ. The cost was extremely reasonable. He did great work and is a really genuine, friendly, honest person. I highly recommend him for any small engine repair.

  • I had not driven my car in 6 months thinking I needed a new transmission due to slipping and knowing a new transmission is expensive.  I wasn't sure where to go and Randy's of Sanger was recommended to me by a friend. They looked at my transmission and said they didn't see any issues with it, but suggested I have my transmission flushed (which I did). My car was also making a loud noise and they told it was my Serpentine belt which I had them replace. My car has run great since they worked on it. I could not be happier and have recommend them to all my family.

  • My son took my '95 Lawn-Boy in because it was not getting fuel. He told them the carb was replaced last year. All I wanted done was:
1.) Check that the carb doesn't have something stuck or clogged jet
    2.) Sharpen the blade.
2 weeks and 3 days later they finally call my son with a $100 labor + parts quote for a TUNE UP!!!  That?s NOT what he asked
for!!!! Said it needed a new spark plug and air cleaner despite the fact he checked the spark plug (absolutely fine) and the air cleaner is brand new!!!
Keep in mind he stated that the carburetor was replaced last year which consists of two screws. $100 labor to remove a carburetor held on with two screws?
The guy then has the nerve to tell my son the blade wasn't sharpened because it wasn't on the work order! It was clearly written on the copy of the work order I have.
My son is a classic car guy, a hobbyist mechanic. He has rebuilt V8's, so he knows his way around a motor. I just thought we could save time by taking it to Mower Medic. This place is the exact reason why my husband taught my son how to work on his own cars because a lot of mechanics treat people like idiots. I can just imagine (because I'm a "dumb" woman) if I had taken it in instead of my grown son.
Mower Medic can keep my $25, I?ll take that loss as a learning experience so next time I know to just do it myself or get my son to do the work.

  • Sebastien did a great job. I called him and explained the issues I was having with my mower and weedeater. Based on the issue description I provided for the weedeater, Sebastien was honest and said it was probably better just to buy a new weedeater. As for the mower, he was able to meet me within a few hours to pick up the lawn mower. He was able to repair it in one day. He cleaned it and discussed all of the issues. He was nice to offer tips for maintaining the mower going forward. For the repairs, maintenance, and cleaning he performed, I feel his price was very reasonable. I would recommend him.

  • Replaced start chain mechanism and rope. Replaced broken blade. Repaired self propel transmission belt. Oil change, spark plug, lube, air filter. Adjusted choke. Sebastian was awesome. He was prompt, professional, curious, and an over all pleasure. He was over and above diligent fixing my lawn mower. Before he left he gave me several tips and tricks to keep my lawn mower running well. I highly recommend (and already have) him. I know if I have any issues, I can call him for help.

  • Dropped the item off. Picked up the item when it was ready. Started the weedeater, ran well. The repair worked as expected. The repairman possibly did some fine tuning, not part of the original work requested, as the weedeater idled smoother and ran better than when it was dropped off.

  • I called Sebastian this afternoon and he was at my house this evening. My lawn mower had been sitting for a couple years, so it need a little maintenance. Only took about 45 minutes! Very knowledgeable! I would highly recommend him!
  • First of all, let me be clear. Mower Medic used to be the best place in the Dallas to take a broken lawn mower. However, since the new owner (Kevin) took over, there is no customer support or quality of workmanship. If you call, you get a recording during normal business hours and nobody calls you back. The manager is very cocky and has no customer service skills. The mechanic does as little as possible to get your equipment out. I am tired of getting ripped off by this company. Just this year I have had two mowers, a rider and push mower serviced, to the tune of $400. Neither job was done properly, and both mowers were broke down again within 60 days. I was quoted a and quot;not to exceedand quot; price of $150 on my rider, only to have it come in at $340. Then, to top that off, they put the wrong deck back on. I had my deck redone last year for $750 (mower medic) and now someone else has my new deck on their mower, and I've got their worn out, yard scalping deck on mine.
I will not use mower medic again. After using them for 25 years, I will give my future repairs to Ed's. I might pay more but at least they have someone to answer the phone when I call.

  • I called when they were 35 minutes late and was told they would be here soon. At one hour late and at two hours late, I called and left voice messages, and never heard from them at all (it is now 5 hours past the appt time, but no call).
Disappointing, as other reviews say how nice and capable they are here, but if you don't show up at all, that's not good.
