  • I’ve used MRZ Contracting for multiple exterior projects over the last (4) years. Whether is it landscaping, hardscape, driveways, stone work or tree trimming, they continually deliver a beautiful product on schedule.

  • This company is absolutely FANTASTIC! They are punctual, professional and get the job done quickly and are extremely reasonable. Cannot find enough adjectives to describe how great this company is. I have used this company for my sprinkler system and also for landscaping. Would highly recommend them. It is a family owned business and I really like that, you get much better customer service than with those corporate owned companies.

  • Great work, very knowledgeable. Rerouted a valve from under cement patio (access was too limited). Reconfigured backyard for better coverage with very substantial heads instead of big box sprinkler heads. Replaced the majority of all sprinkler heads and adjusted everything for better coverage. Daughter says, “these sprinkler heads are legit!”

  • The technician was punctual and performed the work in an efficient manner. He was able to repair the leak under the sidewalk and replace the two sprinkler heads. He checked the sprinkler operation afterward to make sure everything was working properly. Very satisfied with the work performed and the price paid!

  • In every dimension they wildly exceeded my greatest expectations. The stone work was perfection. They trenched and set each stone in concrete and then applied the mortar. After the mortar had set up they hand brushed and smoothed each joint. They had come by the week befor and killed all the grass. They removed the grass, added top soil and tilled it in. They sought my input on plant location and made sure I was satisfied and installed 2-3 inches of mulch when done. As for the Palram polycarbonate roof on my patio the installation was highly detailed and the toughest part was trimming the 45 foot curved edge. Travis said this was his 40th install but his toughest challenge finishing out the curved edge. All I can say is he nailed it. He even went back and hand trimmed the edge in order to remove the flashing leaving a perfect edge. Once he was done he water tested the roof to ensure there were no leaks. Nine years earlier they had installed a stone & boulder landscaing along the front of my house. Over time some of the mortar joints had cracked. They removed the cracked mortar and reploaced it at no additional charge. This is a company that takes pride in their work and it shows in everything they do from design, to installation to clean up. They covered details I would not have even thouht to address. I didn't take roofing pictures or the front stone work but it turned out great. Three of my neighbors were so impressed they are getting bids for their yards.

  • Quote was not the lowest but I felt comfortable talking with Joe about our new sprinkler system (did not have one previously). Crew showed up early on the scheduled date and quickly set about their work. They did a very good job, keeping the trenches straight, and overall I am very happy with the system. Joe came by a few days later to walk me through the system and how to use it - he was patient and answered all my questions. There was an issue: my brick mailbox was damaged while backing in the trailer. Foreman was apologetic and Joe worked with me to get it rebuilt within 2 weeks. This showed them to be a stand up company -

  • First, let me just say, Mr. CLayton and his team are wonderful. We had minimal landscaping on our new home lot and it was subpar at best. Mr. Clayton came out and walked through our property and listened to our wants and needs. He sent us a 3D rendering of what our property would look like with his help and suggestions. We were blown away by his level of professionalism and thoroughness of his work. They completely overhauled our yard and now over a year later, it’s an absolute paradise. We are so incredibly happy we went with MRZ Contracting. His crews are some of the hardest working people I’ve ever seen. Mr. Clayton was so quick to answer any questions we had even after they completed their work. If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable and honest, go with MRZ. You truly won’t be disappointed. The quality of plants, trees and shrubs were phenomenal.

  • The men dug trenches for two french drains and installed those. They used a rototiller to chew up the remaining part of the bed. We had called 811 to get markings for utilities ahead of time. The men prepared the ground with a good mixture of compost and gardening soil. Next, Mike Rohe described a layout to the men for placing a border of landscape timbers, 3 boulders, 2 strips of river rocks, many plants, shrubs and flowers and the stone walkways. After these initial preparations, Mike looked it over and asked many times for plants, flowers and bushes to be moved slightly, rearranged or replaced. There was also a Japanese maple and a pink redbud in the mix. The best part was that we got to attend and watch this production orchestrated to perfection with careful attention payed to each participating plant. Mike walked the area and looked it over from several angles until he was satisfied. Finally, the men dug holes, put in their mix and planted. Drip lines were added throughout. The last touch was a top layer of mulch. The drip lines were tested. It turned out gorgeous! We did not have to pay extra for tickets to attend this production. They received a standing ovation. Anne really liked that Mike listened to what she wanted and did a beautiful job of incorporating it into the landscape. Landscaping is Mike's passion and it shows!

  • It went very well. Bob called saying he was running late (which I appreciated) and replaced and adjusted sprinkler heads as needed. I selected them because they are available on Saturdays which was very helpful.

  • I wouldn't bother calling Andy's unless you have a lot of work to be done to make their ridiculous service fee count for something. They charge $95 just to come out to the house! They call it a "service fee," but there's no real service for it -- unless you call driving out to your house a "service." They say they will check your system over for that fee. My system has just been installed and doesn't need any checking. I just need one sprinkler head moved about a foot, period. No matter. Andy's policy is to charge $95 to drive out to your house (Southlake to Flower Mound, in my case), and then anything you have done once they arrive has an additional charge. It's really rather unbelievable to me. If you like this kind of policy, call Andy's. If you don't, don't.
