    Mr. Appliance of East Texas
    I wish I could give this horrible company, Mr. Appliance of East Texas, ZERO stars, but that���s not allowed. I contacted my home warranty company (LHG) on 1/2/2020 about a problem with either my washing machine or the drain in my home. I���m 100% disabled and couldn���t move the machine around to see which one the actual problem was. Mr. Appliance of East Texas(MAET) was assigned the task. The next day, (1/3) MAET contacted me to let me know that it would be the 9th before they would be able to come out to check on the problem. The lady I spoke with talked like I was some sort of irritant she wanted to hurry up and get rid of. She was abrupt, rude, condescending and not willing to listen to my problem. When the tech arrived on Thursday (1/9), in the afternoon, he was professional and went straight to work. He was able to find out that the problem wasn���t the machine, but rather, the drain line was blocked. He said he would contact my home warranty company and tell them they needed to refer the problem to a plumber. I called my home warranty company on Saturday (1/10) and was told they hadn���t heard anything from Mr. Appliance of East Texas. Since they weren���t open over the weekend, I had to wait to call them again on Monday (1/13) and evidently talked to the same lady I spoke to before. She had the same abrupt and rude attitude as before. I also found out that they only communicated via email and nothing was done on the phone and no follow-up was done. When I told her that was a terrible way to do business and I thought MAET was horrible and their business model was a joke. Her answer was; ���that���s your opinion.��� She���s right, it is my opinion and mine is the one that counts ��� not hers. She has a job because of opinions of people like me - CUSTOMERS. I strongly suggest that people avoid this company and find another one that is service oriented.

    Chris P arrived on time told me the problem with my appliance and had to order a part. He told me it would take about 3 days and it came as schedule and was able to schedule the next day after the part arrived. Chris was very nice and very professional he explained to us what the problem was and answer all our questions and my husband had a few. I will call them from now on to do any appliance repairs. I also have to let you know that the receiptionist are very nice and happy to help.

    I contact the company, and the lady said she'd have someone come out. He got here, spent about three hours going through the fridge. He discovered that it wasn't repairable. He charged a very reasonable rate.

    GREAT! Marcus called me within 10 minutes of my request for service, and scheduled for the same day. He called to ask if he could come early (fine by me) and fixed the washer within 15 minutes. His experience meant that had a good idea of what was wrong based on my description of the problem. He was reasonably priced, and I couldn't be happier. My washer is a Sears Elite, and he was able to get to me much more promptly than Sears service.

    Came on time, as agreed and replaced the front element on our electric range. Seemed knowledgable and efficient. I would have given them an A rating rather than B, but the first element was defective and had to be replaced within a week. That was disappointing, but they handled the replacement professionally and the second element was successfully installed.

    Wait was terrible! Very poor response to my calls to try to get service scheduled around my work schedule. When I asked on first visit if I could call to get service when part came in to my house, as service man had just ordered, was told I could. He did set up a day the next week just in case. Part arrived early and I called as told but could not reschedule day until much later. Asked then if they could call and let service man know not to come until after time I would be home from work that afternoon. Imagine my anger and frustration to get home and service man had come in AM, left note. I called back and had to reschedule again! All in all it was over three weeks until I finally got my washer fixed. The service men were all very nice but office, scheduling horrible!

    The service went well. There was an additional cost of $119. They came out a few weeks later. It took a while to schedule an appointment. He was actually pretty hard to get an appointment or to get him to come out and give you a time to be there. He could have been just a little bit more professional and more responsive in giving a time and date when he could come out. He was just really not informative and not helpful. He just kind of came in, fixed it, and walked out after it. He could have been more helpful like telling me what I could do to prevent it from happening again in the future, that kind of thing.

    As a single woman I?m always apprehensive about a stranger coming into my home, however I was completely comfortable with Lee working in my house. After checking out the problem with my washing machine he told me that it would cost as much to fix it as it would to buy a new washer. He also did a quick repair on my refrigerator and only charged for the part. I highly recommend him.

    I purchased my deal on 9-17-15.  The provider emailed me back after 10pm that same day asking if I could meet him on the 18th.  I didn't get the email until the 18th so I emailed him back and told him that it wasn't possible to meet.  I asked if I could set an appointment for the following week and provided my cell phone number.  No response.  I emailed again on the 19th asking for an appointment on the following Wednesday.  No response.  I emailed again on 10-1-15 (now 2 weeks have passed) and still have not received a response.  I feel like I've been rippled off for $45 and all I wanted was to get my fridge fixed.
