    All-Some Movers
Moving is stressful and you should not add more stress to it by using a poorly managed moving company with un-skilled/un-experienced employees. Stay away from this company guys. Let's start by saying that I used All-some mover before (two and a half years ago) and had a good experience, however, this time around it was awful. The Movers arrived 20 minutes after their window, no too bad. After they started disassembling furniture and loading it I noticed that they were really slow (five hours) as the same furniture took two and half hours to load for the previous movers. There was a nice ceramic sign that my wife placed on the kitchen granite counter that somehow flew and landed breaking in a thousand pieces on the floor and the movers "didn't see anything" even though they were picking the pieces when I walked in. Driving time from one house to the other was good and my things arrived safely. Unloading was again slow compared to my previous experience. The movers scratched a couple walls in the new house with the furniture. After they finished unloading I proceeded to write a check, then they asked me to write my driver license and date of birth on the check to which I said NO, then they called their Boss and thru the speaker phone their Boss proceeded to insult me and even asked me to "go to a supermarket to get them a money order" at 8:00 PM after a ten and half hour move. They took the check and went away leaving behind piles of shrimp wrap and debris and finally to close the night I found that they miss-assembled the fridge handles which came loose on me after they left.

    Clear Lake Movers Inc
Very professional and gentle with belongings. Easy to work with and pricing is competitive with other movers. They are based in Clear Lake so the further away from home base the travel expense is an added cost. This was made clear during the call and the price was equal to or less than some of the other local movers. I will use them again.

The move went without any issues. I requested a 4 man moving crew with a single truck. The guys arrived on time and got to work right away after surveying the items that needed to be moved. One guy was dedicated to organizing the items in the truck to make sure it was well secured. The others worked with very minimal breaks. It was hot and humid that day. The travel distance was @ 35 miles (Baytown to Humble). Took a short stop at our storage facility on the way to pick a few more boxes. No issues with unpacking the truck and setting up our belongings in the rooms we designated. Workers were polite and professional. I received a discount because they were referred to me by a family member who used them recently. Cost is about average for this size moving team and truck. Thank you Clear Lake Movers! You made our move as smooth as possible. I will definitely use them for future moves and highly recommend them.

    Bearded Brothers Move Co
I knew I should hire them as soon as we talked the first time. Their charges are reasonable and rules are fair ... even though they had to drive across Houston they worked with me and didn't charge excessively for time commuting. They worked steadily and I never felt they were wasting time and the crew was friendly and had great attitudes even when lugging heavy furniture up and down stair cases. I wanted to tip them just for that. I have already hired them again for the second part of the move and would enthusiastically recommend their services.

Scott, Kevin, & Victor did an outstanding job! Scott kept us informed of their arrival due to heavy traffic getting to the house even though they actually showed up a little early. They got right to work getting everything loaded much quicker than we expected. Actually they hurried us along. After getting the truck loaded they beat us from the house to the apartment, and got everything moved upstairs and setup quickly. Then they got the rest of the items moved into the off-site storage facility, getting the entire move done about 2-hours quicker than we expected. The only thing broken was 1 wine glass and that was our fault as we packed everything. No damages or scratches or anything. From the initial call and up front coordination with Jordan throughout the entire move, it was an absolute great job!

Everything went very well. The guys were prompt and professional, and were very conscientious of the time frame. I was a little worried at first because there were only three men, but they had a system which made the move smooth and no unnecessary stoppage. I would most certainly recommend this company to my family and would use them again if needed.

Brooke and his team were phenominal! Aside from being on time, they were professional, well prepared, and so kind. They were very understanding of our situation, and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. We highly recommend them!

    A Better Way To Move

I liked it. I think I found them on Angie's List. Pricing was one of the reasons I chose them. They were very good; I was quite pleased. The prices were much better; I talked to three groups. They just moved up from one location to another and it was a two day trip. They did not tear up anything and were very easy to work with.

    3 Men Movers
Poorly. 1. I had to tell 3-men movers in advance over the phone how many containers it would need to carry our household goods. How I am supposed to know how much one of their containers holds? I did not know, and I underestimated. Their containers are not very big. We had to rent a storage unit to store what would not fit in their containers. 2. I told the rep. on the phone that we had packed some things, but that 3-men movers would need to pack a little over half of our belongings. He said no problem. He said they would take care of it. When the movers arrived, they informed us that they don't pack. They had no boxes, no tape. We had to go buy boxes and tape. We then had to pay the movers to wait while we finished packing. 3. I told the rep that we had an upright piano to move. For that, 3-men movers charged us and extra $40.00. Why? The movers did not bring a piano dolly, or any other special equipment. The movers carried the piano. Interestingly, the movers told me that they do not get paid any extra for moving a piano. The movers get sore backs, and 3-men movers get more money. 4. I told the rep on the phone about all of household goods, including, lamps, artwork and dishes. When the movers arrived, they advised me that they do not move glass or ceramics. In other words, at the last minute on the day we vacated the house, we had to make other arrangements to move our lamps, artwork and dishes, etc. 5. The movers scratched our piano, refrigerator, washing machine, clothes dryer, and other items. The movers broke a leg off our sofa. 6. I scheduled the move on the phone. A specific weekday date, a week in advance, was set. 3 men-movers telephoned me 4 days later to tell me that they were overbooked on the scheduled day but that they could move our goods on Saturday. When I said okay, they said they would have to charge me more because it costs more to move on a Saturday. Their mistake, their problem, I agree to change the moving date to accommodate them, and they charge me more! Is that a scam or what? Overall, the movers themselves were good. The personnel with whom I dealt on the telephone were virtually useless. They did not seem to have a clue about what their movers do and don't do, how much one of their containers hold, what items they will and won't carry, what services they provide, and what days are available for moving a week in advance.

    City Light Houston Movers
I was moving to a upscale apartment complex. So I needed to find a professional mover who would be reliable. By the way, this moving company has insurance my building was requesting and Andrew and David are very efficient and educated. Also I could pay with a corporate credit card from my business, and they allowed it. By the way, it was very important, because some movers I had contacted before didn't take any credit cards. So this moving experience was very pleasant and easy.
