  • Amazing!  I came home after working the night shift to find that my heater was out on one of the coldest days we've had this season.  I called A#1 Air and they were out within a couple of hours.  The technician diagnosed my problem and determined I needed a whole new setup.  He immediately set up for a comfort specialist to come out to help me select the appropriate unit for my home.  They showed up within a couple of hours.  They even helped me with financing that I was very pleased with.  Within a couple hours after they left, I had two installers in my home installing my brand new unit!  Everything was completed in one day!  Because I work nights I couldn't afford to lose another day of sleep so I was extremely thankful all this was done in the same day!  A few days after install, another technician came out to check that the unit was working properly and even reprogrammed my thermostat as I requested.  He even filled my little girl's bubble machine up with bubbles after over hearing me tell her that we would go to the store to buy more bubbles after he left.  Even though I was quite bummed about an unexpected expense like this, the process couldn't have gone any smoother or better!  Good work guys!

  • The two techs that came out were great. I showed them in and instructed them where to go for the system. They were very nice and professional. Checked out the unit in the attic, all return vents, the unit outside, etc. Then, they gave me a comprehensive summary of everythign they did and found. Our unit is nearly 20 years but was a top of the line when purchased. We had it checked out every which way before we purchased our home, as this was a major concern for us (and Texas summers and no AC do not go together). The main tech informed me it is a very old unit (yes, I knew) that was a top of the line brand but that it was working perfectly (I knew that, too!). I appreciated their thoroughness, honesty and professionalism. They will call us in the spring to come out to do our spring check up! I look forward to having them as a service partner.

  • It went well. I thought the A/C unit was going out and he could have sold me a brand new unit but he looked it over and told me it was working just fine. He is very honest, punctual and professional. I would use him again in the future. I would recommend him to anyone.

  • My old AC units were on their last legs and my house would not cool or heat properly. Some areas would be cool while some were warm and my electric bills were high. Curt inspected my old system and suggested a new zoned system to address the cooling and heating challenges my house presented. After installing the new revamped system the heating/cooling was 100% improved. Curt told me to see how it operated for a couple weeks and if it was not exactly what I wanted to call him back. After a couple weeks I called him to ask if it could be improved even more. He did some analysis and then completely replaced the zoning system to one of a different design, at no charge. The results were outstanding. My last electric bill was $150 less than I was paying with my old system, and best of all my family and I are comfortable in the house no matter what the temperature outside. I found Curt to be a professional who is knowledgable, straightforward and takes genuine pride in his work. I would highly recommend Cand D to anyone looking for quality service on their Cooling/Heating system.

  • a/c compressor developed noisy operation from last summers heat. I called montgomery after checking Angie and their top pick referred me to them because they only do installations. Mrs. Montgomery took my call at 7pm wed. and set up a time at my convenience (5pm-7pm thur.) , at 5:15 thur.they call to let me know the service man was stuck in traffic but would be there as quickly as possible. A very polite man (dewayne) showed up at 5:20 and checked evrrything out from A to Z and told me nothing was wrong. Actually the a/c worked fine but the compressor noise had me concerned. I have done a/c repair myself in days gone by, so I know a good repairman when I see one. Why in this world would they ever get a low rating on Angies is beyond me.

  • I just purchased the $69.00 A/C tune up with the Angie's list "Big Deal" coupon. I read the fine print and did the appropriate amount of research on this company prior to purchasing the "Big Deal". About 2 hours after I purchased the coupon online I received a voicemail from a female (do not remember her name) at Diamond Quality Services. She sounded apologetic but stated my address was too far from their location and they could not service my address. I live in Collin County and I am frustrated with the lack of detail on Diamond Quality Service's website and the Angie's list website about their service area. On Diamond Quality Service's website I could not find any link that listed the cities that they serve and the Angie's list website stated that they serve Dallas, Tarrant and parts of Collin County. Stating "parts" of Collin County is to vague and this should really be corrected on both websites. If they are going to serve "parts" of a county then they should list the cities that they are willing to service to avoid these types of reviews. Now I have wasted time writing this review and will waste even more time by having to contact Angie's list for a refund (not to mention that I will have to start my search over for a new service provider). I will certainly think twice before I purchase another "Big Deal" coupon from Angie's list. If the coupon is not valid in my area then why do they send an alert about the "Big Deal" to my e-mail address? This is a very frustrating experience and it makes me question if I should ever do business with Angie's list in the future.

  • Excellent Service....I would highly recommend this company after the great service that we received. Over the weekend, I noticed that our A/C was not blowing out cold air. Our house was built in 2007 so I was very concerned that the A/C suddenly stopped working. I had the A/C serviced in the past by different companies and I really did my research this time before I selected AireServ. I found that AireServ was offering Angie list participants a $44.00 service special. I also found that AireServ had many great reviews so I decided to give them a call. I contacted their main number on Sunday afternoon and the representative on the phone was very professional and was instantly aware of the Angies list special. The representative was very honest and up front and informed me of the limitations of the $44.00 service special and that if the A/C unit actually needed a repair that it would cost extra. I called on a Sunday evening and they were able to have a technician out at 12:30p.m. the very next day. Our technicians name was Stan and he arrived right on time. I was at work but my wife said that he was very professional and treated our home as if it were his own. He started out the service call by inspecting the components within the house to make sure that they were in working order. After verifying that our inside systems were ok he then went to the unit located outside. While outside he was very detailed and checked everything from the freon to the integrity of the fan blade. At first Stan was concerned that there was freon leak but then discovered that our evaporator "A" coils were completely clogged by a large accumulation of dirt. This was not at all surprising to me since the previous owner of our home did not appear to have ever replaced the filter. Stan took his time and cleaned the coils out and checked everything to make sure that the A/C worked perfectly. Stan performed the spring cleaning special on the unit outside and cleaned the coils located on the inside of the house. The spring service cost me $44.00 while the extensive cleaning of the inside coils cost me $311.78 minus a $20.00 Angies list coupon. Not only was I impressed with the repair but I was surprised how much Stan went the extra mile to provide such great service. After the service was completed Stan went step by step with my wife on the services performed and tips on protecting the security of our A/C unit outside as well as giving a excellent tip on different brands of air filters. Stan recommended locking the outside power supply to the A/C unit to help reduce the risk of having our unit stolen since the cost of copper is at a all time high. I am extremely happy to report that after a week I am still sitting in a cold house!! In fact, I have it so cold in our house right now that my wife is having to use a blanket and it is almost 95 degrees outside :) I know that my A/C has never worked this well since I have owned my home. If I should ever need service in the future I will be calling AireServ first thanks to Angie's list.  I am now a firm believer in Angie's list and AireServ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very satisfied customer!!!!

  • We have used them for about 6 years now and they are very reliable and extremely professional. Their prices are very reasonable and fair. They also installed a  whole house electrostatic air filter which has helped a lot and has reduced our allergies considerably. We would highly recommend them.
