Water Heater Repair And Installation reviews in Lantana

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Work went well. Home was 15 months old & since we have hard water where I live I had the first flush done on the tankless hot water heater. The serviceman was very thorough in explaining how he flushed it. (he ran the chemicals through for 1 hour). He made sure all the faucets were turned on after he finished to be sure no chemicals were left in the hot water lines. It seemed to me that hot water got to the kitchen faster than before & almost immediately to the bathrooms. I would recommend them to anyone. One thing I liked was they sent both a text & email with a picture & bio of the tech before he arrived.

  • James gave me an extremely fair price to replace 2 hot water heaters. He was professional, courteous, and got the job done quickly. He actually charged me less than he quoted. I am very pleased and would use his services again without any hesitation.

  • Jeremy from All Star Plumbing answered the phone when I called and scheduled to come to my home the same day I found the leak under my kitchen sink. He was very punctual and courteous. He was able to figure out the issue at hand right away and easily repaired the seal within 10-15 minutes. Jeremy gave me a quick explanation of some of the bigger jobs that he is capable of doing in case we needed him for any future plumbing needs. We would definitely call Jeremy at All Star Plumbing again!

  • Great job. Why the builders out here put water heaters in attics is beyond me, but thank goodness there are reputable plumbing services like BCI to take care of problems when they happen...especially in the middle of the night.

  • Provider did a fine job on the installation.  He took away the old materials and left the work site clean.  There were some delays during the day waiting on assistance/consultation with my HVAC provider, but as I had allowed the whole day for the process, this was not a problem.

  • This company gets an "F"in my book. I will never use them again. They are all about themselves and do not try to help the customer. I do not recommend this company at all, and I strongly recommend that you find another plumber.

When I asked them to split the invoice on two totally unrelated repairs, the service tech was very defensive and insisted that I could not do that., even though I had already called the office manager and had it approved.  I had to call back again to get them to do this.  An inconvenience to me and very bad customer service.

I had this company install two electric anodes on my new water heaters two years ago. At the time of the work, they made no mention that this would void the warranty on the new water heaters I had just purchased from them. Now, two years later, when I had them remove the two electric anodes and replace them with the original, unused anodes, they also made no mention of the voided warranty on the invoice provided to me at the time of payment. But two days later I received a revised invoice in the mail where it was very emphatically bolded and highlighted that the warranty on the water heaters was now voided due to the anode alterations. Why would the warranty be voided by replacing the original anodes? This is ridiculous.  They should have told me that the warranty would be voided when they originally installed the electric anodes two years ago. Very bad customer service.

Also, when they replaced the electric anodes this week, they conveniently broke two water flex connection lines that resulted in an additional, unexpected expense to me. The tech did not discuss with me in advance that the lines would probably have to be replaced after removing the anodes. When I talked to the office manager about this, she said the flex lines are for a one time use only and always have to be replaced. So the company knew that I would incur this expense but failed to make me aware of it before I authorized the repair.  If I had known this before the repair, I may not have authorized it.  As a result, it probably cost me more to remove the electric anodes than just to buy brand new ones. A surprise to me and very bad customer service.

It is true that I have used this company in the past, but I only called them back this time because I thought one of my repairs might be covered by their warranty. I would suggest that there are other plumbers out there with better customer service. If you don't like surprises and cocky service techs with little respect for their customers , I suggest you avoid this company.

  • Very quick response time. Came to the house because the pilot light would not stay on. Quickly determined the problem and repaired the water heater. Extremely friendly (yes, we are smiling) and was very professional. Thank you! Highly recommend.
