    TWO STEPPIN TOWING
    My son's car was towed less than two miles and the bill was $445.55. I got my car out as quickly as possible since these guys are gouge in every possible way. In fact, it's illegal to charge this much. I looked it up. I filed a complaint with Texas TDLR and called my local city manager since the officer called this company. I reviewed the bill with another local towing company and they said they charge $186.65 with one day of storage. Stay away! I could go on and on with reasons why they overcharged, but I'll leave that to the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration.

    When I took it in, it wasn't very good. I'm re-thinking using them again. Leaning more towards no. I figured out what the problem was, and I told them. They still insisted on doing a check and it took them hours. I can't figure out why it took them hours to do a check and find out the problem was what I told them what it was in the first place. I was there for hours.

    I was given a quote over the phone that was well within the going rate for replacing a timing belt and water pump on a Toyota Tundra.  I dropped the vehicle off and was told it would  be ready the next morning.  I asked about replacing the hoses and was told it was not needed and the OEM were in good shape.  The truck was ready when promised and the total price was just below the quote.

    Ron has worked on several of my cars over the years. Just recently on my Mazda Millenia. Replaced timing belt, all the pulleys, crankshaft sensor and some other stuff. Did a fantastic job at a very fair price. Car runs great and I couldn't be happier.

    They were great. They were on time and they respected our family’s timeline because they came in. They did their measurements and drop things off of the front door. They were very quick and efficient getting back to us. I think it was about 5 days that they were back with full screens. It took maybe an hour to put them on all of our windows and we have 2 storeys. The price was incredibly reasonable. We did do a couple of estimates and they were by far the least expensive but the most products that we got. We got more choices. We called them and they were there in the afternoon. I referred them to my mother-in-law and she got screens too.

    The brakes on my car were grinding, and I had waited longer than I should have before taking the car in for repair. I found this shop, fairly close to me, on Angie's List and took the car them on a Tuesday morning. I called first and described the noise the brakes were making, and asked if they thought they'd be able to finish the job that day. The person who answered the phone said they should be able to finish it that day as long as parts were in stock, and that everything should be in stock unless my brakes were in an extreme state of neglect. 

    I had my car there within 30 minutes; I had the day off and no ride back home, so I intended to wait at the shop, but I hadn't mentioned that on the phone. When the manager realized I intended to wait on the car, he put it next in line to be diagnosed. He even offered to give me a ride home, but I declined. I wanted to at least wait for the diagnosis to see whether I could get it fixed that day or take it somewhere that could. After the car was diagnosed, he gave me an estimate and said they could be finished with it by noon that day. Despite me having mentioned that I thought the brakes were grinding, they didn't tell me that the rotors needed to be replaced (which I know from experience can really hit the wallet pretty hard). 

    The price was higher than I had been hoping it would be, but truly about what I was expecting as a fair price given the grinding sound the brakes were making. I agreed to have them do the work, and they completed it by around 10:30 am. They turned the rotors and drums, replaced shoes and pads, and cleaned the other brake parts. The price was slightly less than quoted. The feel of the brake pedal was immediately noticeable (and the grinding noise was gone). I'll definitely call Eagle when it's time for a brake job on my wife's car.

    The story is listed above. At the time I used this Toyota dealership for service I would rate it a definite Dont go there place. As I said I was once an auto mechanic with full certifications. I am always aware of potential for some places to use service as a place to

    race through the work in order to get more revenue out of the service department.
    I now bring my toyota car the dealership just up the road.on I 35. There service has been exemplary for warranty work.

    My A/C had not been cooling properly for more than a year. The system had been checked four times by a Dealer in Arizona (we had moved back just about this time last year). Kurt found the problem over the course of several weeks. The cost for services is ALWAYS extremely fair and he is ALWAYS thorough about explaining what he finds, his plan of action or recommendation if it is something covered by a previous repair at a Dealer. My vehicle is 11 years old, it will continue to need maintenance and I intend to use only his services. I have since been back to see him three more times and will continue to take my vehicle to him from now on.

    I called Eagle and Ernie answered the line.  I explained to him that my A/C was blowing but it wasn't getting cold.  He advised me to bring my car in so they could diagnose the issue.  I took my car in on Tuesday.  He called me Tuesday afternoon and said there was no power to the system and the fuse was blowing.  He asked if he could keep the car overnight so that they could continue investigating the next day.  On Wednesday he called and said that compressor was seizing and that I would need to replace the compressor.  He also stated that it is a good idea to replace the dryer and expansion valve at the same time.  He quoted me $1300.  I advised him to proceed with ordering the parts.  He called on Thursday to let me know that one of the parts that arrived was not the right part and he would have to re-order it.  Friday morning he called to let me know they had what they needed and they would be done with my car at the end of the day.  The car was ready when he advised but I waited until Saturday to pick it up.  When I arrived on Saturday Ernie was very friendly and cheerful.  He went over my bill and advised that they ended up not having to use the dryer, so that saved me some money.  He also gave me 10% off labor since I mentioned I found them through Angie's List.  Overall, I had a great experience.  Ernie was very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative.  He was consistent with the updates and his pricing.  Thanks to Eagle Transmission and Auto Service my Air Conditioner is COLD!
