well they came out looked at the washing machine, i told them what was going on. (noises, and not washing completely stops) he said "ummm, you need a motor." he never tried to run a cycle or take anything apart he also brought a "new" guy to help him. since the motor was covered by LG. he wanted me to call and ask for the part plus, have it shipped to my house. he was also asking for a payment (labor cost) $350.00. after over 1 month going back and forth with LG, and sending email verification to the business man....we had to pay him first then the part was finally received, he came put on the part on. he didn't not run a cycle it still made a rubbing noise, he said well it looks like it may need a transmission. you may need to call LG and see if that is covered, but i cant do it, cause i dont know how to replace those. so basically he did not fix our washer and took our money.

    Atlas Appliance Repair
Rodney Wilson called me as soon as I filled out a form on Angie's list saying that my dishwasher kept switching off soon after it started. He came promptly and diagnosed the problem, saying he would need to order the part. He charged me $49 for the call, saying that he would deduct that amount from the repair bill, once he got the part and came out to fix it. About 2 weeks later, I called him to ask if the part had come in yet. He said it had not, but promised to check on it for me. He had come before Christmas, this was now after Christmas, I know things can get crazy around the holidays, so I allowed for that. In mid-to-late January, I called him again, left a message, he didn't call back. Finally, after 2 or 3 more calls with no response, and a full 2 months after Mr. Wilson came out and diagnosed the problem, I gave up and called Balcones Appliance Repair in San Marcos. I was very pleased with them, especially as it took them only a day or 2 to get the part. I gave Atlas more than enough time to come through, but I never heard from them again after the "it's still not in" phone conversation, 2 weeks after he supposedly ordered the part.

    BALCONES APPLIANCE REPAIR
Mr. Cook responded promptly and set about examining my dishwasher. I told him about my experience with another repair service---I had paid $49 for an initial call, to be put towards the cost of the repair, and the other service had supposedly ordered the part, but stopped responding to my phone calls. Mr. Cook didn't charge me for the initial call, perhaps because I had been burned before. He got the part in 2 days (the previous guy said it was still on order after 2 weeks) and returned to install it. The price was decent (mostly the replacement part) and the service excellent.

    Bud's Appliance and Refrigeration Service
Came, restarted the unit, and said it would be fine by next day. Next day it still wasn't working, and after calling him, said it would require a compressor (about 1/3 the cost of a new refrigerator), but that couldn't guarantee that this would indeed fix the problem. It could be other things like wiring etc. He also gave views on brands that were contrary to all Consumer Reports and others. He was "friendly," but that doesn't fix anything.

    Bud's Appliance and Refrigeration Service
Worst experience, I contacted Bud's (Danion Navares) on July 16,2016 after a few times of trying to reach him to come fix my dishwasher that was leaking. Danion came out to my home on July 18,2016 he was here less than 10 minutes and said it was fixed and was warrantied for thirty days. I handed him cash and after requesting a receipt he gave me the receipt and left. On July 31, I called Danion (A few times) to have him come back and didn't get a response. I also texted him, No response. Tried again on August 1, No response, again on the 4th of August. once again, No response. Tried again on August 5th, Still, no response and again on the 7th of August my son tried from his phone (Danion answered!) He said he would be out to my home on Wednesday, August 10 and to text him before to remind him, which I did. We agreed he would be here at 9am and he was at my door on Wednesday at 7 am banging. He came into my home and did the same thing he did on the first visit. (Borrowing my screwdriver, since he didn't have his with him when he walked in) Five minutes later after tearing up the lanolium under my dishwasher when pulling it up, Not even sure what he was looking for) (However, I'm thankful I have a video as he did this). He said you need rollers and I will call you later to tell you how much they cost since the rack is not flat. He said that he was already heading into Austin to get some other parts and would check when he got there for the price of the rollers. (I still had rollers on the rack mind you) I had asked Danion some questions about a hot water heater) and Began proceeded to bad mouth other companies. (He makes a habit of doing this, I've learned) while bad mouthing other companies and how they rip you off). On August 11 at 12:13 Danion texted me. Stating the price would be 49.95 plus 20.00 labor and parts and also stated total was 75.00. I responded asking how he got 75.00 from 49.95 & 20.00 because I was getting 69.95.(I like to know what and why Im paying for things.) After I texted him how he came up with that amount, his responce was Its 75.00 total amount not explaining how he came up with that figure when he, himself gave me the two figures that werent equalling 75.00. I asked I thought the work was under warranty, He got irritated and responded back if I dont want to repair He would take the parts back. Several times I responded after and Not one responce from Danion. I had an appt on the 12th and texted him since I still hadnt heard from him. No responce. August 15th I texted and still no responce. I have since found that Danion is NOT certified. I have also found out he has done this to others on Craigslist, The better business bureau and yelp among other places, even on here! This man speaks of God yet is one of the most shadiest characters I have ever met. If you give someone a price, be prepared to explain HOW YOU GET THAT FIGURE especially when you, yourself give the customer one figure. PLUS, when you warranty your work, You should warranty your work, Why would someone pay you to come out and repair the very same appliance you were out to fix to begin with? I can understand parts. I would never expect someone to pay for parts if this were actually the issue. In the end, The rollers I found were NOT the issue after all. It was not leveled properly. Which is exactly what I paid Danion to do the first time! Danion is a crook! If you value your money and want good customer service and a company who truly backs up their work, I suggest going somewhere else. Because, once you question Danion, he will ignore you and not return calls or respond. This is NOT good business ethics! Remember, I'm just one of MANY who he has done this to!

    South Austin Appliance Repair
They were fantastic, they really work because they could have really proceed 'cause they know what was wrong at my refrigerator. And it was just one little thing and they fixed it. And they said "The motors were kind of okay and it could last till five to 10 years. I will call them again if I need them. I was satisfied. They were really friendly and they fixed only what was broken. He was honest. Their price were reasonable. I would use this provider again in the future.

    Sears Appliance Repair
SEARS is excellent and they send different people every time for different things but the last people were very good. I could use my Sears credit card, it's convenient and you don't have to buy it from Sears to fix anything. I will be using them again.

    Mr. Appliance of Austin
We used them one time, and we had a good experience. He was there on time, he was very thorough, and he explained everything to me, and checked every thing out, and recommended what could be done when he was done. He was honest with me about the pricing of the part, that I would have to purchase to fix the problem, and I thought the price was higher than I expected. So, I thanked them, and said that I will be getting new ones. The only thing that I paid, was for the service call. I knew that I would have to pay that. I thought the price of the service call was in line with everything else.
