    Berrett Pest Control
Berrett Pest Control did a thorough job of addressing the issue of the swarming fire ants in upstairs bedroom and attic, treating both inside and outside the house. The tech went further though and provided supplemental treatments that were not technically part of the service call as a courtesy. Tech was very knowledgeable, eager to explain issue and treatment. Best of all there was no hard sell to get me to buy a treatment plan (FWIW, week later my wife and I decided to do just that and put our property under their quarterly treatment plan, which has already produced positive results). Very pleased with the provider and the service.

    Environmental Pest Control
I called this company because they were recommended by a real estate agent. I explained I thought I had carpenter ants in the master bath, but that I do not use pesticides at all. I was assured that they would inspect and it was mentioned that the attic would be checked as well and they could accommodate me. I made an appointment. The person arrived about an hour after he intended and asked why I thought I had carpenter ants. After my description, he said I had them and proceeded to begin spraying the baseboards by my front door! I yelled for him to stop as I had no intention of spraying the entire house and directed him to the bathroom where he sprayed the window area and the bath tub. I then showed him outside where he also wanted to spray the entire perimeter of the house which would kill any bug in the yard! Not what I wanted at all. When I asked about bait, he said he could do that and placed some in the bath which would have been best to begin with since he knew I did not want pesticides. All this and I was charge $80 for a quick spray in and out and three squirts of bait. Worth it just to get him to go away.

We have used this company for a year and a half. They come out and spray for bugs every 3 months. A couple of times we have called them for pest control. They are always so helpful, punctual and follow up with traps when needed. Excellent company!

EcoLogic Wildlife & Pest Management, LLC
They removed the vent covers and placed something on the vent openings that would allow any birds still inside the home to exit, but would prevent birds from re-entering the home. In two days, after checking with us that we had not heard any bird activity inside the home, he returned and reinstalled the vent covers with a strong mess behind it, preventing any birds from re-entering the home through the vents. Within a couple of days all of the work was done, and we are bird free. John was friendly and professional and took the time to explain what he was doing and what we could expect.

    Savior Termite & Pest Control
Used $29 Angie's list coupon for pest control. The sales rep came to the house and spent a grand total of 1 minute doing the inspection on the house. It was me showing where I had concerns and nothing else. I was told the $29 does not cover the treatment and it would be an additional $25 to complete the treatment. I should have read the coupon better because that was all to be included. Needless to say I somehow entered into a monthly reoccurring bill of $54, when I was told that was only to be paid upon the bi-monthly schedule. Needless to say the shock when a random charge appeared on my bank statement. I called the company and was told I agreed to the premium plan and it is billed monthly, after some time to try and cancel I reduced to what I thought was the basic spray plan. This month I was charged for the premium plan and called and was told no you are on premium plan, I since canceled and will post findings once resolved.

    Savior Termite & Pest Control
Used $29 Angies list coupon for what i thought was going to be a complete pest control as the coupon suggested. Once the tech arrived i was told it would cost $20 more for the complete pest control. little did i know this was going to be a monthly cost of $54 to come out every 60 days. Had to call to find out why account was charged monthly, will be canceling after next treatment and find another company for the service. Buyer beware and read coupon fully.

    Critter Control
I hired them for a rodent issue which stated was for $1,265 (or I assumed was based on what he showed me) to complete the job. I brought to his attention that I was an Angie's List member and noticed the 5% discount on the website. He called his manager and turned around and told be that it would be $1,265. He made it sound at the time this would be the total price. I was going to write a check and he urged me to use my credit card instead. I was under the impression this was the price so I agreed and he ran my credit card on his little scanner which displayed no total. The next day I received a notice of fraudulent activity on my credit card for going over my credit limit. They charged me $12,329 on my credit card. I called them and explained the situation and they told me that the $1265 was just the savings for the 5% coupon. I'm a recent window and have no clue what this stuff should cost but $12,329 to get rid of rodents is extremely high. I requested a refund and he said he would refund it. I had to call them every day for 3 days and was finally able to get my credit issued back to the card. Unfortunately, it was too late and this was reported to the credit bureau and will lower my credit score for the next 30 days. I feel very taken advantage of from this whole situation and i'm upset that it took them so long to issue the credit.

    GreenWorks Inspections
This is my third time using Dallas Greenworks!! I called and researched other companies, but I can't find anyone to beat the quality or thoroughness in their work. This was the first time that I've had the opportunity to work with Michael, and his inspection was exceptional (as expected). He allowed me to follow along during his inspection so that I would be better educated as to what to look for when buying a property. I really appreciated that!

    Berrett Pest Control
After contacting Berrett, we were able to set up an appointment pretty quickly. The technician came and inspected the garage and left 5 baited mouse traps. I asked about treating the outside of the house, as we had seen a mouse under the sidewalk slab, but the technician stated that they "don't do that". To date, none of the traps has caught a mouse, and we see evidence that rodents have made it back into the front part of the garage.

    StarBugs Pest & Lawn
Excellent company and service. I found them through Angie's list and also noted they were active on the Yelp app, good reviews on both. They have been here three times to the house so far. On time every time. I wouldn't let them spray about 1/2 of the back yard (small yard) as it was a vegetable garden. The first visit comprised the outside of the house with the exception of the vegetable garden. Our daughter's poodle, only our second summer with her (the poodle!), is being bathed daily now for fleas despite the first application of pesticide. I called them back for a second visit, but again, no spraying of the vegetable garden. Note: we hadn't treated the inside either. After I scratched my ankles and feet to a nub, I decided it was time to step up the game. I gave up on the garden. Cameron, who has been our rep each time, made a third visit. He commented he hadn't treated the inside of the house and fleas could travel inside and out. I told him to nuke the whole place inside and out. I made the connection that I am the only one being bitten by fleas (except for the poodle). The poodle and I are the only ones in the garden, probably the source of the infection. I fully expected to pay again on the third visit since he was going to spray more of the yard and then treat the whole of the inside of the house. He wouldn't hear of it. Covered under warranty. Recommended.
