AScott ExteriorsLesson learned the hard way: It's almost been a year since the big storm that hit parts of the Dallas area on 6/9/19. Straight line winds hit up to 85 mph in some areas. One area hit hard was our neighborhood in Lake Highlands. As clean up began the next day, it was evident that every house on our street was going to need a new roof. The door knockers offering discounts for new roofs were out in full force. One got my neighbor and I was invited over to the conversation. The next thing you know, paperwork was signed and a new roof was completed. Fast forward almost one year later: After the rainy season this spring began, I started noticing leaks appearing on the inside of our home. Instead of going back to the 'door knocker', I called up Scott Exteriors. A local Lake Highlands roofing company. The owner, Kirk Scott showed up the next day. After examining the work that had been done, it has been determined NONE of the flashing around all of our exhaust fans on the roof had been flashed correctly. Furthermore, the gutters were not hung correctly which has already caused water damage in the form of wood rot. The next day Scott Exteriors solved all of our problems with the roof. I can not recommend Scott Exterior's enough for all of your roofing needs. Get it done right the first time, and you will save thousands down the road. ACREATIVE GUTTERIf you need gutter work, I will definitely recommend Creative Gutter ([*** Link removed ***] gutter.com) phone: 469-388-0051. They replaced part of our gutter and some custom made metal edging, Excellent workmanship. Matt returned to check on the work as my husband was not home when the work was done. He went above and beyond to make sure all was satisfactory, and he sealed several areas that were not in the original scope of work. On our roof, we noticed that our neighboring townhouse had a gutter where we did not. Given that there was minimal run off from that area of the roof, he felt we did not need a gutter. He did not take advantage of the opportunity to sell us a gutter we did not need. Appreciate working with him.- YAHYA D.

FAwful. They did not clean the windows upstairs. They refused to get on the roof. They shot water on the windows on the second story but did not clean them. None of this was discussed. They tore up one of our screens. They insisted on coming in the house to take off screens. That was not discussed. I would never recommend these guys!

AI am very happy with the look and performance of the screens. Longhorn screens were quick to schedule for the window measurements and the new screens were ready and installed a week later for a good price. I used their sugessed screen color and UV light % blockage and along with the window trim and grids matching the screen and they look great.
