Josh was able to give me very good description of the plan, explaining each step to achieve the established goal. We also use that opportunity to train together, where Josh really showed his personal trainer skills. A very passionate and sharp trainer.

When I signed my son up for these classes I was told I could cancel anytime and that they had a money back guarantee but they fail to mention that they are going to charge you $200 just to cancel the membership. My son is five and has been known to change his mind about things so when i heard I could cancel anytime I thought it was great until i actually went to cancel it. The teachers so far have been great but overall customer service is horrible.

Sign up was easy, no pressure. I've been going for a few months now. The staff is always very friendly. All the equipment is relatively new, and everything is kept very clean, sanitized, and in working order. The private bathrooms are nice, clean.

I was a bit skeptical when I first started the class.  I had found a website that provided weekly meal plans that I really liked a few weeks prior to the class and was hoping I could stay on that websites meal plans because it took out the stress from deciding what to eat.
PJ and the dieticians that lead the classes make the time about you and what you want to discuss or ask questions.  They have some basic topics to cover each class, but are very good at listening to your questions and providing answers that include why not just this is what we say to do.  I even shared with them the website I found and they were skeptical at first, but they took the time to research it and let me know that they approved because it matched their dietary suggestions and they added it to their list of recommended resources.
The classes at Baylor helped me understand why I was eating the foods they suggested, and why they suggested eating 6 times a day (3 small meals and 3 small snacks) to help keep carbohydrates level throughout the day.  They were all very caring and understanding and helped make me and the other people in the class feel better about our situation and realize that we can manage our diabetes and reduce our risks for complications.
Since then with the knowledge I gained from Baylor and the website I use for meal planning, I have lost 90 pounds as of today.  My A1C has dropped from 6.6 to 5.5, and my fasting blood sugar has gone down from 130 to 88.
What they teach works, and the way they teach it is in a manner that you can learn it and follow it.  Class sizes are around 4 people.  If you are diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes these classes can be a life changer and I highly recommend them.

First few lessons have been good.  I can't really compare to other places, but the instructor has a good handle on the kids, isn't mean but commands respect, and does a good job keeping the kids focused, spending time with each one.  He seems good with parents too.  I will try and do an update review after we complete a season.  The thing that really knocked my socks off was the price.  They have a monthly package around $80/month.  We signed up for the summer camp package of 7 weeks for $125 and a free uniform.  This fits in line with most other activities we've had our kid do.  So we figured he'd go once a week for 7 weeks, but come to find out he can go up to five times per week for that one price.  We felt like that was quite an awesome deal!

Update: Summer session went great. I was worried our son wouldn't learn the steps of the ho-am form for his yellow belt but we worked together on it at home for practice and he did really well.  They offer free adult classes for parents and after helping my son early on I decided to take advantage of it.  It's a blast, a tremendous workout and don't spend too long on one thing so it doesn't get boring.  When my wife and I took Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace classes he always talked about finding a financial planner with the heart of a teacher, I think Master Mathews meets that definition.  He has a good mix of expecting respect, giving praise when something is done right, and quick correction with meaningful instruction when something is not.

There are some additional fees for testing, and uniforms.  Based on a monthly rate of 89/month plus other expenses I think it's still a great deal for the two of us attending 4 to 5 days per week.

Great personal trainer. I am a diabetic and the 5 day training schedule worked beyond expectations. We look forward to continuing after recovering from surgery.

The Dr. ordered an MRI and determined that the spot was within normal limits and did not feel removal was necessary.  I was not comfortable with the decision but had to accept it.
