    Both my wife and I had LASIK with Dr. Ryne and Dr. Lyons. I'll start by saying the pre-surgery experience is much better here than at other providers we checked with.  Consultation was free and very informative. There was no high pressure sales pitch, no limited time offered, etc.  Surgery was quoted openly on the phone as $1,700 per eye ($3,400 for both).  No Groupon, not sales, not hassle flat rate. 
    Pre-op appointments all went very smoothly. They do a lot of tests but nothing too different from what you get at an annual eye exam. 
    Surgery itself can be a little intimidating but honestly the real experience is not bad at all.  They do the all laser blade free surgery. On the day you go in for your surgery (we did Thursday night which is immensely convenient), you pay, wait maybe a few minute, get some eye drops put in and then your in the laser chair within a few minutes. The whole thing took less than 20 minutes, with the actual laser part only 15 seconds on each eye to create the flap and another 15 seconds for the laser correction.  You have someone drive you home, go to sleep, and wake up being able to see much better.  I woke up at around 20/30 and was 20/25 within days and continue to improve.  My wife woke up 20/20 the next day.  We both love it.

    Very painless and easy.  Very helpful helping me get measurements to order his eyeglasses off a website, even though it means I wasn't buying the glasses through them.  They didn't make me feel weird about it, and made sure I had what I needed.

    Eye exam was excellent, he even rechecked it a couple month later when I had my glasses.  So i would definitely see him again to have my eyes checked.   However getting new glasses didn't work out so well.  They are very expensive, It took over 6 weeks to get them, and they were not made right.  They happily remade them which took another two weeks.  Then the side pieces were too short.     They need to take more care in measuring and fitting glasses so they fit the first time.  Especially since it takes so long to get them.   After all the waiting and adjustments, these Silhouette glasses are the most expensive and ill fitting that I have owned in last 20 years.

    They do a pretty good job but they are awfully busy. They have a lot of patients going in and out of there, so they get pretty good review here locally. The doctors there are good. They are professional. They do a lot of eye surgeries so they have quite a bit of experience and Dr. Hu, I specifically did some online research and found out, he was a graduate of Duke and I have a lot of regard for Duke University. So I thought he would be good to start with. The two cataract surgeries went fine. I have had no issues whatsoever with the surgery. The only thing negative is because they are so busy, the doctors spend very little time with me, maybe fifteen minutes initially to discuss the surgery and answer any questions. I had probably had more questions that I wanted to discuss but they basically didn't have the time to do that.

    They were about a 6 on a 1-10 scale. Our family went to them after we did. They got a pair of glasses that the office never could get them where he could see good with the new gasses without being dizzy.
    Office manager (the Dr's husband) got rude about it, they finally refunded the money but was very unprofessional about it. The billing person that deals with insurance was also very unprofessional about insurance coverage when in fact she was not very knowledgable on their specific insurance. Pretty much told our family not to come back in front of the grandkids! Our family did in fact get vocal with the husband after repeated attempts to work this out.
    Never was ALLOWED to talk to the actual Dr about the unprofessional attitudes when we asked several times. Again the and quot;office managerand quot; Dr's husband said that he took care of all issues.
    The guy that fits glasses made excuse after excuse and in fact does up sale without asking what and quot;extrasand quot; you want to pay for.
    Sad to say that we nor any of our friends or family will return to this Dr which is a shame since she is fine - just her husband and the guy that up sale items on your glasses are not!
    Again the Dr is great - but NOT several members of the staff.

    Dr. Ken Krivacic and his office are very professional and a pleasure to visit.  They were prompt; I only waited approximately 5 minutes.  This practice has a really good web presence and appointment reminder and confirmation process.  In addition, i really appreciate how they were very upfront with fees for certain services - there were no unexpected surprises as far as the cost went.  They made sure before they did any tests to let me know if it was covered by my insurance policy, and if it was not, they let me know exactly how much the test would be.
    Finally, Dr. Krivacic was very personable and I would recommend him.

    Dr. Martinez was very thorough and took the time to explain the process
    and the results. Extremely pleased with the overall experience. I have
    already sent my fiancee to her as well. I intend on making her my regular optometrist for all my eye care needs.

    On the day of my appointment, I was promptly greeted and started the exam. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. When I met with Dr. Thomas, she performed the exam more thoroughly than any other practitioner I have had in the past. I told her all of my concerns, including my need for both glasses and contacts. During the exam she informed me I have an Ocular Nevus, essentially a freckle in my eye, which had never been mentioned to me before. I believe the thoroughness of her exam was the reason she was able to detect this, and she answered all of my questions and concerns regarding this. I never felt rushed when I was there, as I know she is very busy considering how long it took me to get the appointment. It was well worth the wait, and I will be making this my regular eye doctor.

    It went OK. I had to wait a while when I got there. Then I had my appointment and the doctor determined my prescription. I ordered my contacts but when they arrived, I couldn't see out of them. I then had to get another exam done, change the prescription and reorder the CORRECT contacts. It was frustrating.

    Unfortunately, after I picked up my glasses (made at Lenscrafters because I was desperate and needed the 2 hours service) I struggled with reading from my post surgical eye. I made another appointment with Dr. Marsh and had another exam (for which he did not charge me). Following that, I had the glasses re-made at Lenscrafters. I picked them up; and, once again, could not read with the post surgical eye.
    Out of frustration, I went to the O.D. at Pearle Vision to get a fresh exam. What she quickly found was that my progressive lens glasses needed a different and quot;addand quot; on each lens. It's unusual to have that - usually you have a base prescription and then a and quot;+2.00and quot; for example to progress the lens to the reading power. That and quot;addand quot; power is normally the same in both lenses. However, because of my surgery, I required a +2.75 in my right eye and a 2.00 in my left eye.
    Without getting too technical, the main point is that, after two exams with Dr. Marsh, with me clearly explaining the problem to him, he was still unable to fix the problem. The doctor at Pearl picked up on it almost instantly. I now have a new prescription and a pair of glasses that works just fine.
    I liked Dr. Marsh and felt good about my interaction with him - but, the truth is, after two tries, he simply got my prescription wrong.
