    I have been to several dermatologists in multiple states, and Dr. Aboutalebi is one of the best I have seen. He was warm, caring, and spent time addressing each of my concerns. I felt listened to, and I appreciated the kind attitudes of all the staff. I highly recommend Dr. Aboutalebi and Northstar Dermatology!

    I've been going to see Dr. Todd Plott for the last two years, ever since I've moved to Texas. I am in the healthcare business, and proper skincare and anti-aging are important to me. Dr. Plott is top notch in the area for medical and cosmetic dermatology. He is one of the most knowledgable dermatologists I know (and I am familiar with many). Dr. Plott has worked for several dermatology companies in the past in product development, and in fact, he holds a patent for developing a prominent acne medication. I've seen Dr. Plott regularly for Dysport injections and he brings you back after two weeks to determine how its working for you and will make any adjustments (not all will do this). His staff is terrific, too, and really care about the customer experience. I've had several cosmetic treatments done as well, and have been more than pleased. He has an office in Keller, Coppell and just opened a new office in Roanoke, Tx in January 2017. Do not hesitate to see Dr. Plott (or any one of his associates) at any one of his locations. You will be treated with the best medical care and come out of there looking great! In addition to prescribing a topical retinoid (if you need it), he also carries excellent, medical-grade skincare products that will improve the look of your skin and give you the glow you are looking for.

    Dr. Warthan suggested an OTC treatment for my seven year old. So, no treatments were performed in office. Just a consultation and OTC recommendation. At the counter upon leaving, I was asked to pay $146.40 but was informed that the office visit was being billed to my insurance at $248. I asked why so much and they indicated that we were "new customers." I asked them to please check the account history since I had taken my son there before. They responded that it had been over four years since our last visit to which I agreed that that sounded about right. So I said, "See, we aren't new customers." They responded that by their definition we were.

    I purchased the OTC medication suggested and my son had a severe reaction to it. I emailed a photo of my child's severe reaction to the suggested/prescribed OTC medication and I got a curt response to discontinue use which of course I had already done. I then took my son to a pediatric dermatologist in Dallas a few weeks later and he indicated that the particular type of OTC should never have been prescribed to a child. We were actually new patients of course in the pediatric dermatologist's office and the full visit with treatment was $145.

    So longer story short, Warthan did nothing but suggest an inappropriate treatment which caused much pain and discomfort to my child making the original problem worse as opposed to better, categorized us as new patients (which we were not), thereby charging over $100 more than the pediatric dermatologist did.

     I called the billing contact in his office to revisit the "new patient" premium and they were less than friendly, almost rude. When I told them that my extended family and I had been patients of Warthan's for years but will be no more, the reply was a sarcastic, "Okay." So at no point did I feel valued as a patient or customer.

    The waiting room is quite nice and comfortable. Very modern. When I checked in at the desk, the receptionist looks at me and says, "Coming in for a full body scan?" I say, no, cosmetic treatment and she says have a seat. After a 15 minute wait in the lobby and about 10 minutes in the room, the nurse takes the information and then in walks a PA! No doctor. I tell her I am interested in a cosmetic treatment and she starts in on their 5 step treatment which involves buying the products they sell. Then tells me if I want a filler, I have to see the Dr. at another appointment. Not happy. I thought I had made an appointment with the DR. Anyway, I decided not to waste the appointment and had her freeze a spot on my face that she said was precancerous so all was not totally lost. My impression was they are trying to pay for that big, beautiful office! Looking for a new dermatologist again.

    Dr. Debuys recommended a strange course of treatment for this: First she wanted to set up a second appointment to remove them, but planned to only remove one cyst, then set a third appointment to remove the other. Then, she said she would need to shave my head in the area around the cyst, and I would have to wear a full head bandage for 24 hours after each removal. She made it seem like it was a bigger procedure than it needed to be, so I asked why she couldn't just remove both and put a stitch in each incision, like I have had done in the past, and she said and quot;that's not the way I do itand quot;.
    So, I told her I would see another dermatologist. I then got an appointment with a wonderful dermatologist the following week, and on that same first appointment, he removed both cysts without shaving any hair, and I was out the door in 30 minutes...without a head bandage.
    I'd be skeptical of what Dr. Debuys recommends as treatment, and get a second opinion before getting anything done by her.

    Knot in the day after I called. I sawBeth PA. She examined the rash and asked questions., I had had Scarcoidosis before so she decided to biopsy it. She prescribed a cream and told me to return in a week. The biopsy results shower just a contact dermatitis and the cream was working. I like the they are so personable and through.

    Love Dr. Swayden! She is prompt, courteous, knowledgable and doesnt
    try to get you to use a bunch of stuff or treatment you dont need! She didnt stop with just my concern though, she did a full check to ensure no other skin issues needed to be addressed. Highly recommend her!

    I did not have a good experience with them. I went to them for an evaluation. I had acne on my back and two moles. I just wanted a consult. When I showed the doctor the mole, he insisted on removing it. He decided that he couldn't let me leave without removing the moles. He did remove them and scarred my skin.

    I was seen immediately upon arrival and the doctor (Sina Aboutalebi, MD, FAAD) evaluated my skin for any visible signs of skin cancer. My complexion is very fair. He removed the mole from my elbow which was in a precarious location and used three stitches after removal. It was numb so I felt no pain. On the other bump on the same arm, he used a freezing technique much like removal of a wart. It did sting but wasn't unbearable. I have a followup appointment to go back for the stitches to be removed. I would use this facility again.
