"Did not arrive as scheduled as it was raining. They Called and said would wait an hour to see if the rain stops. They Called a half hour later and said they would arrive shortly Fortunately the rain stoped shortly after they arrived. They immediately started wrapping all items with plastic wrap. Actually wraped items not needing it and overwraped others. I had to dictate what would load first as they would not have been able to load it all the way they planned. Loaded and arrived at new house within 15 minute drive. Took a bit for them to start unloading. They also slowed down quite a bit. They Stayed in truck talking a lot. Overall finished in 6 hours( charged for 6+ hours) but should have been no more than 5 1/2. Lead man totaled up the bill and while my wife was getting a check to pay the difference I went to the bank for a cash tip for each man. When I returned I was informed the Lead man had misfigured the time and I would have to pay more. I had prepaid the first part via credit card and no one told me I could not pay any overtime the same way. Second once he gave me the final time and charge (which I thought was a 1/2 hour execessive) I thought it only fair to tip the other workers. I had to return to the bank a second time to pay the extra charge. When I expressed my displeasure the Driver told me he was instructed to do this by the Co office. In retrospect I would not have tipped and I would have refused to pay the extra charge seemingly directed by the Co office (according to the driver). We wound up paying the extra in cash as all our extra checks were packed away.

"I hired this company in late Demember to help us move to our new home. They were prompt on getting to our home, however, I was quite surprised to see they had sent two elderly gentlemen and a younger very overweight gentleman that was borderline obese. None of them seemed very friendly, however, I put this aside as I was too busy to deal with anything eles but the move.
Right away I could tell they were in no hurry as they are paid by the hour and moved like turtles. I was doing circles around them loading their own truck. They would make 1 trip load to the the truck to my 3 trips. The heavy set man was breathing heavy and seemed short of breath and I was concerned he was going to have a heart attack at any moment. The other two older gentlemen seemed to have a rough time with the weight of the furniture which would cause them to bump into walls a few times which i was also concerned about. Towards the end of loading up , I had a few items I was hoping would fit in the truck as I wanted to make it all in one trip to keep the cost down as well as there seemed to be enough room , however I was discouraged by the movers to add any additional items in the truck. This was puzzling to me as the truck was not full which I had to explain to them despite it being quite obvious . After a lengthy discussion it was agreed they could take everything in one trip, which of course would

All in all, they got the job done although it was touch and go for most of the day. I feel they can improve on many areas such as , being a bit more friendly, hiring associates that are physically able to do the job, as well as paying more attnetion to detail and not hitting walls when moving the furniture plus avoid ripping out appliances from the wall with little to no reguard for the damage it may cause. .It would also be a bonus if they took time to set up the washer and

instead of just leaving them just setting there. It only takes a few moments to put them in the correct place and connect. As I said, other movers that I have used have set up and connected them without a problem.
In the end, the price was decent but I feel next time I will pay a bit more to get a team of movers that are bit more organized and professional. If you do intend to use this company, do yourself a favor and do not allow them to disconnect your washer or

"They showed up on time and did a very good job. Mainly boxes of keepsakes and Christmas decorations. Did a good job of getting these items stored.

"Yes I noticed big time. At the end of the move the moving company asked for an additional $40 because we ran 30 minutes over. I was hesitant giving them cash because I do my transactions with a receipt. The owner over the phone told me he would email me a receipt. I NEVER GOT A RECEIPT. Then I come home to find a big white gash on my leather couch. But what p***** me off the most to write this review was the fact that I had money stolen, $50 to be exact out of a greeting card that was for my 5 month old daughter. I didn't want to accuse the movers initially so I asked my mother and husband on who put my babies things in a trash bag to be moved? Both of them told me they didn't do it. So the only people left were the movers. Who steals from a baby? That is sick. I am reporting this also to the BBB in regards to both companies. Angie's List needs to do a better job in reviewing these companies. I feel violated. I want my money back.

) arrived right on time and went to work. They carefully dismantled our king-sized bed, which includes a fairly large headboard, footboard and bed frame. They wrapped the the night stands, triple dresser and 6 drawer upright chest with plastic wrap to protect them. They were very careful moving the furniture into the spare room.
The day they moved the furniture back to the master bedroom, they once again arrived on time. They were extremely careful while moving the furniture back and setting it up so as not to scratch the new wood floors. They were very patient while we installed felt pads on the bottom of the furniture that we could not access while it was stored in the other room.

and his crew were extremely profession, pleasant and courteous. It was evident to us that they have a strong work ethic with a focus on customer satisfaction. We will definitely use

. They showed up 45 minutes late to the house. The guys seemed nice enough at the time, but little did we know what was going to happen. They wrapped and protected our stuff when we were able to watch them, but there were only 2 of us so we could not watch every little thing. Towards the end of the day they would take things out and say they were going to wrap them at the truck. Our mistake is not verifing that they did. They only sent one truck and when that was not enough we had to wait on another truck to come from Spring. We were told we would not be charged for the wait time, however we were. When we had our furniture and stuff delivered two week later as soon as they opened the truck doors I saw that our king tempurpedic mattress had not been wrapped or protected in any way. They were stained and this has voided the warranty. The worst thing was that all my cordless

cordless angle grinder I used to cut tile and stone. There were 12 wardrobe boxes, and we thought that was a lot considering we only had one closet to pack. They had used the wardrobe boxes to just throw items in without any protection. 200 hundred dollar lamps thrown in with wooden table legs,

room chairs not wrapped or protected, figurines broken or damaged. 65 inch Sony flat screen wrapped in front, but not in back so the tape they used is embedded in the plastic and will not come out. There are too many things to write about.
At first I thought the owner was going to be a stand up guy and the crew that did our move was fired. He did pay for one set of the DeWalts tools and send a cleaning crew out to try and clean the mattresses. The cleaning crew tried, but the stains and damage was just too much and even they said it would need to be replaced. This is where the owner started back tracking, and throwing out the 60 cents a pound. I would agree to this if the damage had not been caused by incompetence and neglience and if things had not been stolen. I cannot stand liars and thieves. Every now and then you have bad employees, but stand up and take responsibility for their actions. We have 8 to 10,000 dollars worth of loss and damages just beacuse someone wanted to take shortcuts and just to steal someones belongings is the worse.

"The men were very careful with my property and took extreme care and time maybe a little to careful as it ended up taking them 7-8 hrs! In the end the job cost me considerably more than I thought it would and thats taking into account that my husband broke our complicated bed down and put it back together himself! The last time we had a different company move us, the bed took the most time to deal with and it only took 5 hrs for that company!
