  • They could actually make sure their technicians are doing what job they're supposed to be doing. Consumer should not have to wait 30 days for product to come in or a part to come in. Luckily, I wasn't staying in the house at the time, but I had no hot water for 30 because they had a part that they needed.

  • Signing up they promise a lot of stuff. They gave me a first service call for free. From the sales point, they are very good. I haven't had anything go wrong to use them yet to see how the service end is. Signing up was great. I'm paying them a decent amount of money. They made good promises over the phone. The flyers are a little disappointing when they send you your policy. Signing up was the best part it's all I've done with them so far. They cover limited rood leaks, the pool equipment, appliances, air conditioning, plumbing, everything it was a full home warranty. The first impression was great, it was just a sales pitch. They all offer similar coverage and this one a friend has and recommended it to me. They were all pretty competitive within $50-$60.

  • Chris, from Optimal Air Solutions, arrived on time, was professional, personable, attentive, knowledgeable, and even had a capacitor in his truck! The capacitor was replaced and two pounds of Freon installed = and within an hour, my house was cooling off. $245

  • I have to cut the water supply to my heater and drained the hot water to stop the leakage and by the time i report the problem to Choice Warranty, it was after 5PM. The customer service immediately assigned IGD Plumbing but they do not seem to operate after business hour. Called them the next morning and their plumber (Dimitry) was assigned to come the same day in the afternoon. The problem was rectified in less than 30 minutes. Well Done!

  • This company is a SHAM , stay far away. Being in Texas the weather is horrendously hot. So I recently had an issue with my AC Unit not cooling below 85 degrees inside the home.  I have an elderly parent staying with me so I needed the air fixed immediately. I called the emergency line three days straight left message after message. I finally get someone after the third day of attempts , but this individual can’t tell me about any contractors in my area because that takes 48hrs to search and see has a four page booklet that I cannot have access too. Mind you these contractor would be someone that I still would have to call to schedule an appointment with, wasting even more time in the hot home. So I assume that almost a week of no air while temperatures are averaging 100 degrees is fine work for this company. As the only and responsible resort I took it upon myself to look for a same day technician in my area to come over and see if there was anything that could be done in such short notice. The technician noted that Freon was low and that coil and TXV will need servicing. I advised the tech what could be done now since my elderly parent is here and the heat is sweltering. Freon filling was the cheaper of the repairs, (8lbs low) and me figuring I have warranty, I'll just call and have them reimburse me for the Freon and pay my deductible for the coils and TXV repair. O NO that is not the case. The customer service from the phone rep to the manager is void of compassion, personality and humanity. Each rep that I spoke with during my 3 hour hold yesterday had different answers, each had no compassion for the plight of no air conditioning for a valued customer and I finally got a manager via chat (on hour 2.5), He stated no need to talk to me, that my claims was denied for reimbursement because my platinum Premier warranty doesn't cover Freon, Coils or TXV. But if you service an air conditioning unit do you not replace or replenish Freon? If you are thinking about this company don’t. Spend that 500 on lottery you'll have better luck.

  • Overall they are awful. Their customer service is awful. The only good thing about them is that you can make a service request online. You have no say in what company that is used. They choose companies that are poorly rated across the internet. AHS only allows their providers to use cheap or refurbished parts. They pick companies that are so far away from my home. They picked companies that are 3, 8 or even 14 hours away. My tenants were without heat in the winter because AHS picked a company that was several hours away. We have cancelled our policy with them.We would NEVER recommend them.

  • I am currently undergoing through a dispute with them and have reported them to the Better Business Bureau.  I intend to take them to court and get my 7K back! Go to BBB, there is almost 20 complaints posted on there since the month of June started.

  • They're not quite as personable. This is the company that we signed up originally, and came with the purchase of our home. It's only $60 to have someone come out to fix our problem, so it's cheaper to go this route.

  • They were the most expensive company, but we wanted good service.  I was never able to contact them in which I wasn't on hold for an hour after sighing a contract with them.

    They made me wait over a week to have someone come out to look at the water heater, only to determine they would cover the repair.

    When an electrical issue arose I waited 5 days for the electrician to come out and would only cover 1/2 of the repair, I paid the rest out of pocket.

    When the upstairs bath was flooding into our kitchen I got jerked around for 3 weeks before they decided to let me call my own Plummer to fix the issue and then refused to cover all of the cost. 

    There customer service reps never seem to know what one another are doing or what has previously been relayed to you as the client.  They are not in contact with there service providers so no one is on the same page.  When you make a claim they wait until the end of the day to dispatch your issue to a provider.  The providers they use (ie plumbers, electricians etc) are subpar over worked and under paid, and lack competence and knowledge. 

    Never use this company unless you like spending money for a service you will never get, like spending hours on hold trying to get assistance, and going weeks without a functioning household.  All I got from them was a lifetime worth of aggravation and I had to pay for it, and the repairs done to my home.
