When Dwayne arrived, he immediately assessed the situation and let me know that we needed a new panel. He ordered this and it was available the next day. However, he did further research and determined that the panel display might be fixed by replacing with a much less expensive fuse. He arrived the next day and the fuse worked. Each time he was only at the house for about 15 minutes and the display was fixed in less than 24 hours.

Dial One Johnson Plumbing, Cooling, and Heating
I called on Friday to schedule this. Normally, weekends and evenings are for emergencies only; however, as I was a recurring customer, they scheduled Jonathon to come out Saturday morning between 8 am and noon. Jonathon showed up at 8 am and had the valve changed and the stove hooked up and functioning in under an hour. This company is excellent and I highly recommend them for plumbing and gas line needs,

I purchased LG refrigerator from FRYS in 5/2016 and purchased an extended warrant for five years. Currently, 15 days ago my fridge got bad and not cooling down, called frys, they called this company with whom they have a contract for extended warranty unfortunately and Frys is using this company first time. Technician came in next few days and ordered temperature sensor control which they had to order from LG. I made at least 10-12 phone calls and the owner is super rude, most time no one picked up the call, when they picked up they told me to give me an update and never received a single call, left VM five times, they never called me back. Just as of now, called in the morning but no one picked up. Couple of days ago, I went to frys in Irving, the manager Hector was aware of this situation and he was nice enough to give me loaner fridge until my fridge gets fixed, it was delivered yday. I am still waiting for a phone call to get an ETA when they will come and fix my fridge. I HAVE PURCHASED ALL MY ELECTRONICS AND MANY HOUSEHOLD ITEMS FROM FRYS AND LOVES IT. I AM SURPRISED HOW COME FRYS GOES WITH SUCH A BAD COMPANY FOR EXTENDED WARRANT. AGAIN EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM FRYS BUT THIS DIVERSIFIED RESIDENTIAL IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, GARBAGE COMPANY IN TERMS OF EVERYTHING - CUSTOMER SERVICES, EFFICIENCY, PUNCTUALITY, TIME MANAGEMENT - I WISH I COULD PUT NEGATIVE REVIEWS - AVOID IT, AVOID IT, AVOID IT.

    Sears Appliance Repair
Arrived on time, told me what he was going to do and went straight to work. After the job was done showed me what had been wrong with the old ice maker. Very polite. Told me about Sears appliances insurance and if taken it would cut my bill in half and I would only have to pay $75,00 per house call. If they could not fix the appliance they would replace it. So I took out the policy.

My ice machine stopped working, even though I could hear the motor. I contacted American Home Shield, and they assigned the service call to A Affordable Appliance Services. The office contacted me and asked me questions re: my refrigerator (make/model #). I provided the requested information, also sending a picture of the model sticker. The technician, Roberto, called and asked for me to describe what was happening w/my refrigerator/ice machine. He diagnosed the problem from the phone, and ordered parts for my refrigerator. An appointment was set, but when the parts did not arrive in time, Roberto called and updated me on the missing parts. I was advised the office would call to set up a new appt time once the parts had arrived. The following week, the parts arrived and the appt was set up. Day of the appt., Roberto called about 30 minutes before arrival to let me know he was on his way. He was punctual (early), friendly, quickly diagnosed the issue, replaced the necessary parts, and explained how to replace the filter correctly. Roberto is a great service technician. If I need to use the company in the future, I definitely will ask for Roberto. Price is AHS service call. No addtl cost.

Chris at A Affordable Appliance Services was friendly, helpful and scheduled me in pretty quickly. Joe came to my home to repair the ice maker in my fridge but had to replace it. He was professional and competent. He explained the process and completed the replacement of the part promptly. This is an A+ company and I would hire them again.

Our fridge needed a part replaced, which was relatively inexpensive. The promotion price on Angie's List equaled to what would be paid if I had called a repair company on my own. The benefit is that Angie's List offers trusted service, people and companies. I would recommend this company and will use them again.

    Appliance Rescue Svc
It was a terrible experience. The dishwasher was being used by tenants and it started leaking. I found these people on Angie's List for $60. I called them and asked what the $60 would cover. They said it would cover the trip charge and any minor labor that could be done within 30 minutes. They sent this kid out that looked very very young to me. I had to set it up when the tenants and I were there. It was very inconvenient. He looks at it and said the dishwasher was moving forward that it was suppose to be tilted back. I thought that was strange. He made some adjustments to the legs so the water doesn't run out the door. He writes me a bill for $30. I thought it would be included. He said the $60 was just the trip charge and inspection. I paid him the $30 extra. It works fine for a day and then it started leaking again. I asked them to send someone else out. They send the same kid out. It's three days later. Now he says the pump is bad. He said that will be $160 to replace. I told him not to do the repairs. I called the company back because I was unsure his diagnose was correct. I asked them to refund me because they were not fixing the problem. They said they could not do that unless our senior technician comes out to confirm. I told them I did not have time for that. The senior tech comes out, he says there is a gasket missing on the front door. The cost to replace was another $40.

I should have suspected something was up when the tech wrote in (on my already signed receipt) that the charge was not warrantied. Later, the first time I turned the system on it didn't blow cold AT ALL. I found a small cap on the outdoor refrigerant line audibly spraying, releasing likely all of my refrigerant. I called the tech immediately, asking why it could have been open. He said it may have vibrated loose. The jist is that he sold me 3# of refrigerant, only to release 6-9# of R22 directly into the atmosphere at my expense.

Fantastic! Joe was quick to diagnose that my old reliable and much beloved washer was beyond help. (I have a lovely new one that I am still trying to get to know better.) And, ta-da, he could easily replace my dead ice maker! He was very friendly and polite and professional and I was extremely please with his willingness to declare the washer dead instead of trying the oft-used repair company tactic of trying to fix the un-fixable. He's a keeper!
