They were transparent about the budget and change orders, the change orders were reflected on new invoices every time something was added or changed. Their design expertise and recommendations were on point, classic, and on budget. Shaniko and Bernardo consistently stopped by the house everyday that people were working to make sure we were happy and they subs were doing quality work. The subcontractors came when they said they would, they were on time, worked hard, and cleaned up as they went everyday. The entire team, Shaniko, Annemarie, Bernardo, Jenny, Sergio, the list goes on and on were all friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to do things the right way. The Right Stage are honestly the best contractors you can have working on your home. Good honest people. Phenomenal workmanship. The communication and customer service is unparalleled. ATHE RIGHT STAGE Building and RemodelingWe hired The Right Stage to renovate our outdoor patio. We had been searching for years and when we met Shaniko and Annemarie, we knew we were finally going to make our dream a reality. They first came to our home to survey the space and then they LISTENED to what we were envisioning. They didn't try to sell us on anything. They just listened and that was really big for us. They were prompt with a quote and adjusted it as we figured out more of what we wanted. We had a two man team on our property most of the time doing the demo, concrete, and build. THEY WERE FANTASTIC!!! We watched them everyday and they are some of the hardest working people I've ever seen. Shaniko came by EVERYDAY to inspect the work. Let me say that again...The owner of this business came onsite to check out the work himself everyday. At the end, we are thrilled with our patio. We knew exactly what was happening and when it was happening throughout the project. We plan on hiring them again for our next project and you should too!!!- Anne L.

DARCHADECK OF AUSTINArchadeck rushed thru the project and failed to get the electrical and footing inspections done with the city. We spent many months emailing them to try to get the inspections done with a third party, but eventually they stopped responding to emails and phone calls. We have had to pay out of pocket to have inspections done and are still in the middle of trying to get the footings inspected without taring down the pergola.- Michael P.

AArtie and the entire crew did an amazingly fast and quality work. The guys showed up in the morning and had the entire 6x10 shed built in a single day. I requested a couple changes last minute and they were able to easily roll with the changes. Quality doesn't come cheap but I wouldn't think twice about using them again for my next project.

FCaptial Construction Services lacks integrity and has no quality control. I unfortunatley made the mistake of hiring them to add a porch cover to my home. I was fooled by all the positive reviews. One of those 5 star reviews is from the owner, John McCormick. Makes you wonder about all the other 5 star reviews. I had to be the quality control for the entire project. At no point did Mr. McCormick take responsibility. Every mistake made was someone else's fault. Here are some highlights: 1) Mr. McCormick promised contruction would start in two weeks, take two weeks to complete. They did not start for two months and construction took a month. There were no weather delays here, only excuses. 2) Mr. McCormick convinced me to expand my 10' limestone flagstone porch to 12', saying he could make it look just like the existing porch. The extension was poured, he then refused to install limestone flagstone, claiming he didn't remember agreeing to that. 3) The structural inspection FAILED TWICE. They actually screwed the cover into the 2x4s that are meant to hold up the soffit. 4) Roof installed incorrectly. It leaked. Additionally, the false gable installed looked nothing like the examples provided, rather something one would expect to see in Whoville. Mr. McCormick told me I'd have to pay extra for them to fix it, then pulled a 180 and fixed it after Cedar Park Inspectors confirmed the roof install was bad. 5) They tried to get away with installing 12' tongue and groove boards in 16' space. 6) None of the stain or paint colors matched, despite providing the exact colors needed. 7) Two crews worked on this project. The first crew might as well have been day laborers, demonstrating lack of experience and no attention to detail. Not to mention smoking cigarettes and drinking beer in my yard. After everything got really messed up a second crew was brought in. They were better and did the best with the mess they had to work with. At the end of it all, I ended up with an OK looking porch cover. Not great, not terrible, just OK. If I didn't intervene constantly it would have been terrible. Considering the cost, this cover should have been perfect. And I still need to find someone to lay the flagstone.

ASam is fantastic to work with. His communication is the best there is and he personally manages the work done. The rooms painted look beautiful and all the paint lines are crisp and clean. There was an issue with some paint cracking in one room (which wasn't the fault of Sam's team), and without question, Sam immediately called in additional team members to get it resolved and finished the job perfectly. Bottom line, he will make sure the work is done right. We'll certainly be using him again in the future.
