Very bad they were not the least concerned about my rugs, furniture, garage being protected from all the mess they made ! Hole home needed major cleaning costing $$$ ! Everything they did had to be redone at least twice or more ! A week and a half job took going into 9 weeks!! There is still serious problems with the workmanship and they think they deserve the final payment!!!

    Petty Tile & Carpet
It went well. So many times you hire people that do not show up, but these folks did and were there when they said they would be. The carpet is exactly what I ordered and the job was done quickly. You might find a cheaper place, but you get great one on one service with Petty!

    Sterling Floors
The company showed extreme professionalism and competence in the work performed.
The work was done with impeccable precision.
I wanted to upgrade the flooring of my home and came across Sterling Floors, they did such an exceptional job that I decided to add all the additional work they were able to provide.
The wood floors turned out fabulous, I also decided to upgrade on the kitchen cabinets, tile, and paint job throughout the house.
I couldn't be happier with the work that was performed. All very professional and extremely competent.
My home now has been remodeled and upgraded on both upper and lower levels, as well as the patio work, and the best thing, ALL WITH THE SAME COMPANY!!!  No need to call 10 different companies to do the different work.
My Real Estate agent has come by and told me with the renovations and remodeling I am going to get a huge return if I ever decide to sell it.
If you are looking for the best professionals and best price for any of the work mentioned, You should definately take a look at these guys.  Very professional and competent! So happy with the way everything turned out!

    Empire Today
They were supposed to call with an estimated arrival time for the installation on the day of the install.  I never received a phone call so I  was left waiting and wondering when they were going to arrive.  Once they arrived the installers did the work and at the end of the day mentioned that they did not have all of the trim pieces necessary to complete the job and that they had contacted their supervisor to order the trim pieces.  So there was no trim between the laminate and carpet going into the bedrooms and no trim between the laminate and tile in the kitchen and entry way. They said someone would be in contact with me about when they would be back to install the trim. The installers did a minimal job to clean up and put furniture back. As they were getting ready to leave I had to ask the installers to trim the carpet going into one of the bedrooms because it was sticking up several inches and was a hazard.  As I was cleaning up what they left behind I found loose nails laying in my floor, minor damage to one of my walls, and damage to three of the newly installed pieces of laminate.  The following day, Saturday, I spoke to the general manager about my concerns and when they would be back to finish the job. He said to let the installers know about my concerns when they came back to finish the trim pieces and they would take care of it.  I was told they would be getting the trim pieces the following Tuesday and would call me to let me know when they would be back out.  I heard nothing on Tuesday and called Wednesday to find out what was going on. I was told they would not be getting the trim until Thursday and they would be out to install it on Thursday as well.  Thursday morning I got my first phone call from them letting me know they would be out to finish putting in the trim between 12 and 1.  When the installer arrived I showed him the places the trim needed to be installed and the piece of flooring that needed to be replaced.  He said he did not know anything about replacing any pieces of flooring and would need to call his supervisor.  The installer then told me a supervisor would call me the following day and come out to look at everything to be sure they could get it fixed properly.  At 11 Friday morning, a week from the original install date, I called to find out who was supposed to be coming out and when because I had things I needed to do.  It was at this point that I spoke to the general manager again and was told his notes about the damaged piece of flooring somehow were gone and that is why the installer did not know about it, that he did not know who the installer had spoken to about coming out to look at the job, and he said someone would be getting back with me.  He assured me, after I asked, that someone would contact me prior to the end of the day about scheduling a time to come out and review the job so they could get it taken care of for me.  Saturday morning, after not receiving the call on Friday, I called and had to leave a voicemail for the general manager.  I would really like to get what I paid for and get my house back to a complete and organized state.

    Arbor Wood Floors
We worked with Round Rock showroom.  The service before the installation was great.  The first materials delivered were not correct but that was corrected immediately.  Once the install began so did the issues.  The crew was always late to start so they had to work later to catch up.  The lead installer did not stay on the job.  The work was behind and finished in a less than satisfactory way.  The  works looks nice but not the quality it should have been.

    AHS CONSTRUCTION
After closing on our brand new home we decided to add in a rock fireplace that the builders model house had. Adrian the owner came out and met me to view my house and the model house to get the design. Within a few days we received a cost proposal that was extremely fair. Once we decided to move forward with the project (after closing on the house) he sent his mason crew out to deliver the Rock and supplies and they started working that same day. Within 3 days the Rockwell fireplace was completed. Adrian came by everyday to check on the work and crew. The mason is extremely creative and talented! After the mason was done, the clean up crew came in, cleaned up the remaining rock, finished removing my carpet that I am having replaced with wood. And they touched up the paint.

    Texas Flooring Professionals

I hired Texas Flooring Professionals because they were recommended by Hardwood Bargains. Billy had come out I believe some time in May to give me an estimate and it was reasonable. It took several months for my flooring to arrive at Hardwood Bargains so the job started in November.
My flooring was delivered on Sat 11/1 as promised so it could acclimate to the environment for a few days before being installed.
On Monday two crew members arrived and worked for approximately 4 hours. I was impressed at how much demo they were able
to accomplished in that short time period.  When the installers left they explained that they would be back in a few hours
to remove the trash that had accumulated in the front yard. They did come back and remove the trash later that evening.

The following day two crew members arrived around 9am and continued the demo.  A few hours later another crew member joined them and they continued demo and started installing the new flooring in one of the rooms. I went to take a look at the progress and noticed they were getting close to the fireplace with the glue which was an area of concern for me.  I asked if they were going to undercut the fireplace and they said they wouldn't be able to.  This was very disappointing to me because I think that approach looks much better than others.  The installer explained to me that underneath the fireplace hearth there was concrete which easily crumbled just by putting some pressure on it by hand. So apparently the fireplace wasn't one solid piece.  The fireplace itself was laid on top of about a half inch of concrete.  Seeing no way around this problem, I agreed for the flooring to butt up against the fireplace as closely as possible. It ended up looking really great and you cannot tell it isn't actually undercut.
The crew worked until 6pm that evening and got quite a bit of work done.

The following day the guys arrived around 10am and worked until around 8pm and then the next day from around 10am to 9pm and again on Friday from around noon to 9pm. One thing I really appreciated was that before the crew left, they cleaned the floors throughout the house.  Swept up all the dust and debris and mopped the entire house with appropriate cleaner.  The crew leader, Oscar, was on his hands and knees shining it and getting any bits of glue out of the cracks.
The crew members were very professional, courteous, and hard working.  It was amazing to see how fast they were able to work and still maintain a very professional install.  The floors and baseboards look fantastic.  It was a long week, but I am very happy with the results and I would definitely hire Texas Flooring Professionals again in the future.

    Manion Door to Door Flooring
I had to split the project up into two different dates. The first crew came out and completed both upstairs bathrooms. Everything looked great and was completed per the timetables established. The second crew out when I was ready for them to complete thelast bathroom downstairs. All of the work is great, the price is solid and both crews were very professional in all aspects of this project.
I would highly recommend them again for any flooring needs. Both Thomas & Beth Manion are very considerate and professional contractors that I am thankful to have found using Angie's List. I did the initial comparison for quotes between five different companies. They were not the cheapest and not the most expensive. With all factors considered I am elated with my choice and pray that oher contractors would be more like them in their respective fields
