AMatthew Lorand RoofingJason Joseph of Matthew Lorand provided a quote for the work I requested, and the quoted price seemed reasonable based on my calculations of what the cost would be. Because of the urgency to get repairs completed and my impression of Jason and online reviews, I signed the contract without getting bids/quotes from others. The work included roof replacement and chimney siding repair. The work was completed in 1 and 1/2 days (sooner than expected) and the materials quality and work quality are excellent. I will certainly contact Jason if/when I have another similar project to complete.- James M.

AMatthew Lorand RoofingExcellent! Jason was very patient with answering a long series of my questions during the quote process. We collected estimates from multiple companies, but this one stood out in responsiveness and thoroughness. We were able to get the replacement done very quickly once the contract was finalized. The crew arrived exactly when they were promised to, worked until after dark and then had to come back for just a short time the next morning (a Saturday). Even on the night they left early, they were meticulous about cleaning up our driveway by headlights from their truck - no surprise tire punctures here! So far in my gardening, I've found only tiny bits of missed debris from what is by nature a messy project to tear off a roof full of shingles, then trim the new materials. Of all the large outside projects I've had done over the years, their clean up was definitely the best. The roof looks great and I'm happy with the results. I plan to use this company later (after COVID) for repairs of the water damage inside. Highly recommended!- Vickie H.

AHaven't scheduled them yet. Tile and Grout Solutions was the only company to respond other than with an identical paragraph telling me it's so much a sq ft (leaving me to figure it out) and that they don't move china cabinets or electronics. Joseph Maxwell scheduled a visit, gave me a quote, and best of all, did a demonstration of how my floor will look after cleaning. My tile has been down about 10 years and needs cleaning badly after a bunch of cats and dogs. I was very impressed with his demonstration showing how great my floor will look. I will be scheduling them shortly.

DContractor missed first estimate appointment and I was not notified until after the time of the appointment had passed. They apologized and quickly scheduled a 2nd estimate appointment which they arrived early for. All communication was done through text message including the quote for the work. I scheduled them to come do the job a week later and sent a building modification contract for them to sign that our building HOA requires as well as requested a certificate of insurance and neither was provided. No one showed up on the morning of the job and after I sent a few texts checking the status of our appointment I got a response that they were still reviewing the contract and that they would not send a contractor until they were able to sign it.

ASteve was quite thorough in ensuring the work was done correctly. He gave us some suggestions which made the project come out even better than we hoped. His installation team did a very good job on removing previously glued down flooring, ensuring the floor was level and installing the new tongue and groove flooring. This was a relatively small job of about 220 nsf of flooring. The original flooring was not available, but we found a very good substitute. We appreciate Texas Flooring Company's expertise in dealing with mixing old and new wood to make us whole.
