    Peace Love and Paws
Amazing! Watered plants, brought in mail and Amazon packages. Turns on lights before we arrive if dark ... leaves notes about visits and all 3 dogs are always well taken care of... treats our babies like their own!

Brian has been working with my dog and me for a few months now. I now understand the concept of repetition, repetition, repetition. We practiced repetition of basic commands on leash for several weeks...not because the dog was misbehaving; it was because I needed to practice the commands as her leader. Once I was able to get her to listen to my commands 100% on leash, we removed the leash. She is now 100% off leash at 10 months old. My husband and I recently took our puppy, Lula to cabins out at the lake for a three day weekend. I never would have imagined her being off leash the entire time, out at the lake, with many distractions (squirrels, dogs, people, frogs, cars...you name it). The weekend would have been stressful had we had to have her on a leash stuck on the patio. She roamed around her allowed boundaries and then spent a good portion of her down time sitting on the patio watching dogs, people and cars pass by. A few times, I gave a deep "hey" shoutout, if she wandered beyond her allowed boundaries and she would run right back to us with her tail wagging. It really is about displaying confidence and authority. Brian is the first to remind me that at times, my commands sound uncertain and weak...and he's right. I'm practicing on speaking in an authoritative manner, when necessary and then giving the appropriate praise when necessary...it's a balance. We are getting ready to leave the country and travel extensively with our dog so it is extremely important that we have her at 100% before we leave. I am more than confident that our dog will be at 105% by the time we leave. I have one piece of advice: if you hire an expert, trust the expert. Don't deviate from the expertise that you paid for...if I knew what was best for my dog and if I knew the best training methods, I wouldn't have needed to hire Brian. I have full trust in Brian's training methods and his methods have proven to be successful.

    K9 Connection
Just a quick update on the services provided by K9 Connection. Brian is about 6 months in on training our second Golden. We couldn't be more pleased with the progress being made with Chester. In addition to the training, we have also used Brian for boarding. The optional pick-up and delivery service is terrific, especially with a 100+ lb. dog. We can always rely on Brian to take care of Chester and any training issues. He's extremely responsive and punctual! Highly recommend!

    VCA Advanced Care Animal Hospital
    Horrible,
Had to come it for heartworm prevention medication.
I made the mistake of sending my wife alone.
After raping my wife for $400 they would not provide a prescription for the medication.
Had to use their mail order.
When I called to complain, the person on the phone laughed because they would not provide a prescription.
She laughed us all the way to a new veterinarian.

    MY FAVORITE GROOMER, LLC.
Dede was very careful with my 12 year old poodle and considered all of her health issues while performing the grooming process.  My old dog did not have to stay longer than an hour and she was far less sore and stressed afterward.  My 8 year old dog had an issue with anal glands during grooming and Dede went above and beyond to take care of her.  It was far gentler and far less stressful for all of us!  Kudos!

    K9 Connection
We first became acquainted with Brian in 2003 when we purchased our Golden Retriever puppy. He worked with Frazier on leash training and with me and my husband on controlling a very alpha pup. His training was was the best investment we made and lasted a lifetime. There wasn't anyplace we took Frazier that people didn't comment on what a great and obedient dog he was. We lost Frazier in January of this year and now have a new Golden pup, Chester. Once again, we have an oversized, stubborn, and alpha personality puppy. Brian to the rescue! Brian has had 3 sessions with Chester, who just turned 3 months old, and we are already taking very successful walks and getting the upper hand when he's off-lead. Brian has always been very professional with his services and typically shows up 10-15 minutes early. Our neighbors have also used Brian in the past with the same great results. One of the things I like most is that K9 Connection is a 1 man shop. You will always have the same person providing the excellent 1 on 1 training for your dog. Don't hesitate to call Brian!

    Tara Animal Hospital Inc
As far as vets go, they are pretty good. They can schedule an appointment quickly if a problem arises and they are very nice and professional. Our only problem is they seem to want to push all sorts of tests for older animals if the numbers are just a little off, and they seem to get very disappointed in you if you as the client make a decision based on money. I understand that they care about their patients but there comes a time in a pet's life where there the laws of diminishing returns come into play and it's just not worth spending hundreds of dollars on an aging pet. When we have made decisions based on this, it sometimes feels like they want you to feel like a bad person.

    HURST ANIMAL CLINIC
Why did it take me so long to find this vet clinic? Dr Daryl is so caring. My 12-yr-old dog has been here not only for a hurt shoulder and shots but dental services and boarding. Everyone here is so nice and friendly. I will not hesitate to leave my dog here every time I go out of town. The best vet in the area!

    CJ's Grooming & Gifts
The owner was nice but shared a lot of personal information over the phone (we had not met) and in person when I dropped off the dogs. She cut one of my dog's stomach area and he still has four wounds there (a week and a half later). She refused to cut my dog's face the way I wanted her to because she said that was not how he was supposed to be cut. Also, she refused to trim his tail for the same reason. I will not return.

    THE GROOMING BOUTIQUE

got a call saying that my dog had bit the groomer and they were calling police.  They did call animal control and now my dog is in quarantine for 10 days.  I heard the animal control officer saying that he didn't believe my dog bit her that it looked like she just banged her hand on the table.  He also agree with me that what they did was just out of pure meanness.  But once a call is made about a bite they have to act accordingly.

So not only have I witnessed more than one groomer there being mean to the animals they are grooming, I believe that they have put my elderly dog at a life endangering risk.
