    I met with Clayton Smith before the job began and told him I only wanted to replaced the badly broken driveway parts. The texture of the the new would only need to match the old since I would paint the whole driveway so as to not see where the old and new parts are. Against my directions the concrete was stamped with a border, when it occurred I informed Clayton to fix it, he never did! He informed me this is their standard of how their work is performed. And refused to do anything about it. Also the whole area they worked was left filled with concrete powder on all my surfaces, and dirt on my driveway from all their work. I had before that paid for power washing of my whole home and driveway, now I would be faced with another cost to clean it up after the workers. A deep crack was found on my ajacent slab that directly lines up with a newly installed broken board that was installed during the work. It can not be coincidence. Of Clayton���s own admission, 2 form boards were not removed, by my door. The workers used my outdoor electrical out, and left it with a broken cover on the newly cemented porch. Clayton Smith was pushy about collecting the remaining balance before the problems have been corrected, and tells me most of his customers don���t put up objections to this. He acted belligerent when I didn���t agree to meet with him to ���discuss��� the problems in person. Even though I had wrote out the issues in a text to him with pictures, and asked him to inform me in writing what he intends to do to fix the problems. His response, ���deny, deny, deny���. His bullying tactic to get me to submit to paying the remaining balance before the issues his workers caused are remedied, is unacceptable and no one should be faced with this intimidating/bullying behavior. There is no excuse for his behavior. I would not recommend hiring him and his subcontracting company and workers. Very, very bad business practices. I asked for references and checked them out, but now I don���t believe them.

    After getting almost 3 feet of water from Harvey our garage door openers needed help. One wouldn���t open at all and needed new sensors while the other just quit working from our cars??? Perry���s serviceman was here first thing in the morning and went above and beyond to fix all of our problems. He even went out and bought a universal remote and reprogrammed both of our cars to both garage doors. Would definitely recommend them!!

    I called and Chris was at my house the same morning. He did great work and explained everything he was doing. Garage door is quieter than it has ever been. Would definitely recommend them, and would use them again except I plan on this garage door opener lasting for 15 years.

    I had JL Concrete replace a wooden deck in my backyard with concrete. The workers removed the old deck and disposed of the wood. They leveled the area and laid the concrete. All trash was removed when they completed the job. My old deck was installed incorrectly. When there was a deluge of rain, I had to place towels around the walls to prevent water from coming into my house. After JL Concrete replaced my deck, there were several days of strong storms. Not one drop of water came in my house.

    Replaced spring but then technician tried to sell us a new overhead unit over replacing our existing unit that was still in its warranty period. However while the technician was in our garage, he proceeded to damage our car, one we had owned for only a month. When confronted, he denied it as he could given no one witnessed it. The specific damage was a large vertical scratch and a dent, which we deducted to be caused by the large cordless screwdriver sitting on a ladder next to the door with the scratch. To add, the estimated $700 in damage never should���ve occurred as the car was IN the garage, which we came to learn that the tech was not following company policy by performing work with a car in the garage. We proceeded to have a debate over the damage, tech continued to deny cause, and the owner instead of considering the customer viewpoint, sided with his employee. The employee was his son we came to learn as the owner proceeded to tell my wife that he always tells the truth so he must have not done it. Instead of offering to immediately come out to our residence to attend to this matter, the owner simply stated that the customer was wrong and the company was not liable. I reached out to him to schedule time (upon his request) to view the damage but all subsequent follow up has not been returned. Bottom line is that the Perry Garage Doors has employees that are not bonded or insured, not fit for work as this technician had hand tremors, tries to sell the customer equipment that is not needed, has no regard for company policy and clearly operates with lack of integrity and moral character. The owner kept stating that his reputation speaks for itself but perhaps all those high star ratings from previous clients were all from folks that got lucky. You can all make your own choice in whom provides these services but if I am an Angie���s List, I would strongly consider a more thorough review of the vendors on your program. Unfortunately for us, we called upon one that does not belong in business.

    6 months into the job we were almost $30,000 over budget. Promises were made and not kept. My existing driveway was damaged in 8 different areas. Jim Williams promised to repair them and never did. His concrete trucks broke the concrete driveway during initial concrete pour. The finish on the concrete was so bad that my flooring company spent an extra day and more $ just getting the floor level enough where they could install flooring. Almost one year into the build after contract was signed the sheetrock still had not been installed. I fired Jim Williams and finished the house myself. When I relieved him of his commitment , I said I would do so only if he would repair my driveway to my satisfaction. He signed this statement in front of his own notary. His word is worth no more than the piece of paper on which he made his promise. Thanks Jim Williams for a life lesson I will not soon forget!

    I called five different garage door companies for a quote & left messages for four. None of the four returned my calls. TBG was the only company that answered my call & Cori worked w/us to accommodate our schedule for a day/time that worked best for us. From the initial call made to the company to the installation of our new doors, everything went very smoothly & quickly. Cori was able to get a technician out to give us a quote the day after we contacted TBG. Edwin arrived on time the next day, gave us a quote & scheduled the job to start w/in a couple of days later so my husband would be able to be home during the installation. Edwin was on time, explained everything, dismantled/removed our old doors/tracks & installed new doors/tracks/control pad & cleaned up the work area, all in one day. He was exceptionally professional, courteous & friendly. We are very happy w/the finished product, will not hesitate to use them again & highly recommend Texas Best Garage Door Co.

    Appointment was easy to make. Call operator was very nice and helpful. Technician, David, was courteous, professional, and quick. Arrived within scheduled appointment window. Replaced springs, and disposed old ones. Checked thoroughly prior to completion of work to ensure springs we're right tension and that garage door settings were good to go. Would use again and would recommend.
