  • Dr MacKay is amazing. She is probably the most passionate dentist I have ever been to. She loves her work and you will see it. She has her patient's best interest as her top priority. I have dental insurance was blessed that she always worked with me on my portion.

  • This review is being written on behalf of my mother who has been a patient of Dr. Harris (Atascocita Family Dentistry) for four years. Dr. Harris did outstanding restorative dental work and his staff provided excellent regular cleanings for my mother. The front office staff worked her into the schedule on short notice for an emergency, which was much appreciated. However, Dr. Harris has suddenly disappeared! The office is gone with no forwarding information and a full voicemail box. There is no way to contact any of the office staff to get dental records or anything else. I feel bad for those patients who are waiting on crowns, partials, veneers, or who are in the middle of any other dental work that is so important to one's health and daily life! Dr. Harris did good dental work but was not the most professional practitioner as he aired a lot of his personal issues and life situations to patients and office staff. The bottom line is, anyone who has unfininished dental work or billing issues with Dr. Harris is out of luck at this point. My mom is in the middle of getting reimbursed through her insurance for some work she paid for but now has to try to track down her records, including x-rays and office notes, from the Texas State Dental Board in Austin to provide to her insurer. Dr. Harris has disappeared with her dental records. Hopefully, the state dental board knows where Dr. Harris' patients' records have gone. Fingers crossed!

  • Dr. Redman is a fantastic dentist. As a person who generally has anxiety when going to the dentist, I can honestly say he is great at putting me at ease and carefully explaining procedures. I would highly recommend him. My family most certainly appreciates his professionalism and expertise.

  • I was a little apprehensive about permanent bridges, I wish I had this done years ago. Dr Oppermann is the best in his profession, rated in the top 2% in the Houston area. I had other root canals performed before, I can say that his work was the best.

  • They butchered my Mouth, now I have to see a real dentist to fix the mess they made of it. They disrespected my time with a number of appointments hours after the appointed time. The dentist was running back and forth between treatment rooms to attend several patients at one time. The dental assistants flat out lied to me about the procedures being preformed and the durability of these procedures. I had an appointment for teeth cleaning and they did NOT clean my teeth, they spent my time trying to sell me some expensive gum treatment and when I told them I just wanted my teeth cleaned they told me they did not do that. This was the most frustrating Unprofessional group of people I have ever dealt with. Avoid these people at all costs. They cost me dearly.

  • We came to Made Ya Smile Dental through an Angie's List deal.  The deal included a checkup, a cleaning, and a full set of x-rays. To me that sounded like a good deal, and since I was in the market for a local dentist, I setup the appointment for 2 weeks out and waited.

But in the process of waiting for the appointment, I hurt one tooth when I forgot my bite guard one night. It was sore and swollen the next morning, but nothing felt broken or severely damaged. A day or 2 went by and wow it hurt.  It got much worse.  It became infected and spread to my gum, ear, and throat.  The swelling in the gum caused the tooth to become sensitive and impacted against the tooth in front of it.  The teeth felt raised up and misaligned with the teeth on top.  It was a nightmare of pain and lost sleep.  Thank god I had this appointment coming up.  I can have them look at it and help me.  So I show up at Made Ya Smile Dental with hope that they were going to help me.

And that's where it all fell apart. I filled out the paperwork for a new patient.  It was the usual long and tedious forms.  They took me in quickly after I finished the forms. The radial x-ray worked well, but the other x-ray machine was broken.  The tech needed to hold the imaging plate in my mouth while the the images were taken.  Weird, but okay.  We get the rest of the images she needs and she brings in the hygienist who proceeds to measure the bone loss in my jaw.  Okay, that's sort of normal too. The hygienist tells me that these numbers are normal and these others are problems.  Okay, I know I have bone loss and need regular cleanings. I had a deep cleaning a year before and a regular one just 4 months before showing up at Made Ya Smile Dental.  When she's done measuring, she leaves the picture of my swollen and infected tooth on a video for me to watch while she gets the "finance person".  Weird to get a presentation from finance ... don't you think?

So finance person comes in and tells me there's a program to address my gun disease.  So they wanted to sell me another deep cleaning for $1,650.  I said great, but I'd need to talk to my wife about it.  They produced a form and asked me to sign off that I was declining the treatment.  I did.  The dentist showed up and asked if I was a prior patient.  After I said no, he said that 2 of my fillings MAY not have taken properly and should be fixed. He said the problem with my swollen and infected tooth was probably related to a popcorn shell caught in my gum line.  AND HE LEFT!  Okay, that makes sense.  I'm getting a cleaning and they should get it out so I can have relief.

But then the cleaning started.  OMG!  They hygienist did NOTHING!  Barely scrapped my teeth.  Either there was no tarter and they were lying about the urgency of my problem or they did nothing to clean my teeth. Either way, NOTHING was done to help me.  They sent me home with a mouth wash and told me to pick it out myself.

They did give me a picture of how their whitening process could have Made Ya Smile whiter.

    Horrible.  In human.

I fixed my infected tooth problem myself ... yes they did nothing ... And now I still  need to go for a cleaning since they did less than nothing to clean my teeth.

PS.  They have multiple entries in many review sites/  Make sure you read all the reviews.  Also, note that this is one of their locations.  The Kingwood location is the one I am reviewing.

  • On my first visit I saw Dr Miller. He is an excellent Dentist and has an excellent chair side manner. I was referred to Dr Henley, in the same office, for a root canal. I am very satisfied with the care I received from both Dentists. Prior to going to Spring Creek Dentistry I had extremely problematic negative Dental experiences. This is the first time, in a long time, I felt comfortable with the Dentist I am seeing and care received. Dr Miller himself, following dental procedures, will call to make sure everything is going well.

  • Linda the dental hygienist is fantastic. She has a great personality and is thorough. I also had in office teeth whitening done but it was not very effective but this could be due to my teeth and not their treatment.  I will always return to Linda for cleaning and I plan to get fillings replaced in the near future.

  • He is friendly, competent, and concerned.  The staff is great.  The waiting area is very nice, very comfortable and homey.  I think I have waited for 5 minutes once, but it is like I sit down, get a magazine and they call me in.  I have been using them for about 10 years.

  • This was my second visit with Dr.Phan. My first appointment was in October 2014 for a cleaning and filings. She is very personable and caring. She went over the procedure with me, explaining what was to be expected. She was very gentle while giving the local anasteisa (this is very important to me since I don't like needles). She preformed the extraction successfully. She gave me her cell number and told me to call if I had any concerns ( a first for me). Later the same day she called to see how I was feeling and to see if I had any concerns.
