  • Considering this was someone I had never used for repairs before I have to say this was a great experience. Rex made me very confident with his knowledgement and experience. The rate he gave me at the beginning was was the actual amount I paid when the repairs were "hidden costs". Rex took the time to explain exactly what he would do to make the repairs and then again when I received my invoice he again went over everything with me again. My lawnmower works great and as good as when I first purchased it. I am very pleased with Atlas Appliance Repair LLC and would recommend them to everyone. If you are looking for someone that has reasonable rates, professional and prompt this is definitely someone you must try.

  • Atlas Appliance Repair located in Hockley, Texas offers the kind of service people you want to know and keep for future problems.  This family owned business offers the skills of a big company but the appeal small town friends.  I found they offered courtesy, knowledge, and a willingness to listen to my problem before offering a solution.  Based on my experience I would highly recommend Atlas Appliance Repair.

  • The serviceman came within 15 minutes of my call. He was both friendly and professional. He told me what could be done to fix the washer and he completed it in approximately 10 minutes. He also checked the dryer and told me what to do to circumvent the problem. He charged me only for a service call because no parts were needed. Knowing that timers on washers and dryers can be quite costly to replace, I really appreciated his suggestion for a more cost effective solution! He also offers Senior Citizen discounts where applicable.

  • I called and scheduled an appointment for 8:00-12:00. At 12:30, after hearing nothing earlier, they called to tell me that they were still at least an hour away. I told them that I had a doctor appointment and would have to reschedule. I, again, rescheduled for 8:00-12:00. Around 11:00, they called and said that the repairman was running late and would be here around 1:30. I did not hear another word until the repairman showed up at 5:30 that afternoon!!He appeared to be very tired, but knowledgeable, and within 10 minutes, he determined that the compressor was out. He told me that he was JUST THEN finishing his MORNING appointments. But that's not the end of the story because I had to call them again to service my washer and dryer(at my rent house)because they are under a maintenance agreement. I scheduled again for a morning appointment, but had to call back 2 days later to reschedule because of a conflict. They rescheduled me for the next week. The day of the first date I had chosen, a serviceman called to say that he was on the way to my rent house. When I told him that I can changed that date to Wednesday of the next week, he said that my new date was not showing on his list and that I would have to make another appointment on Thursday rather than Wednesday, which I did. Then on the previously scheduled and canceled Wednesday, I received a call that the serviceman was indeed on the way to the rent house. I told the lady on the phone to please double-check because I had been told that I had to change that appointment. She confirmed that the Wednesday appointment was correct, so I hurriedly drove to my rent house which is 18 miles away to meet the serviceman. Thankfully, the service man did come, and the washer and dryer were serviced. Again the service rep. seemed very informative and professional. HOWEVER, the scheduling is an absolute nightmare. Apparently when they give you a 4-hour window, it just means that they MAY or MAY NOT get back with you at all that day. Thankfully I'm retired and have a flexible schedule. Pity the poor people who may have to wait for hours, even over several days!! Because service is high on my priority list, I sincerely doubt that I will be purchasing any appliances from Sears in the future!
