    Everything went well it in the beginning but within 6 months of having the door completed we noticed that on one side of the door rain water was seeping under the paint and the wood was swelling and the paint was chipping on the exterior side. The owner of Dallas Door came to the house and agreed that the work was not done correctly and he had his subs come back and fix the areas that were affected, BUT after the door had been in for about a 2 1/2 years, we noticed that the other door was doing the exact same thing, (Same issue as before on the other side) We contacted him again and his reply was to contact the ���warranty��� Dept. We placed phone call's to ���warranty��� and we never received a phone call back. We contacted the owner again, sent pictures through email & and he has not responded in any way. My husband has begun making the repairs himself, but this door replacement cost us $3000 in Aug of 2016 and the work was NOT done correctly. This door is not even 3 years old yet. This is just poor work quality...period!

    I contacted this company twice through their website, about a week apart. There isn't a telephone number shown on the Contact page, so I assumed this was the preferred method for contacting them. I chose them from Angie's List because I wanted someone with good ratings and someone who could provide actual input on design choices. We're just not good with that sort of thing. It's been about a month and I still haven't heard back from them. I know companies get busy, but I felt a month was plenty of time to return my inquiry and at least tell me they were simply too busy to help me. Remodeling is an intimidating process. It's imperative you find a contractor you trust, and I would find it hard to trust this one after being ignored. Based on the ratings, I'm sure they are great once they take you on as a client. But hopefully this review will remind them to be professional to everyone, not just those lucky enough to get a call back.

    This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I hired them to replace all my siding and install some doors on my home at the beginning of last summer. They finally started in October. After replacing the siding, the workmanship was so poor, reps from Hardy and Tyvek had to come train them how to do it right. After tearing off all the siding to start over, they were still cutting corners. I was pressured and harassed to make the final payment, which I did before thanksgiving under the promise they would return after the holiday to finish the job. I have been dealing with them for 9 months with countless emails and phone calls and have been met with nothing but empty promises to finish. Not a single person has done any work since before thanksgiving when I gave them the check. They damaged property, covered up mistakes, covered up shoddy work, and won't come back to complete anything. Do not hire this company if you want a quality job.

    It went great. Russ explained everything he did and answered all my questions. He told me what I needed and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I am using him and his company, Green Attics, again for some additional work.

    It went pretty good.  I had all the materials for them to use.  The kick plate was too tall.  Will need to find the right size.  The front door has a crack in it, which I thought would fill in with the wood filler.  It was in a bad spot, so when the stain was applied, it did not fill in. I will clear coat it, add the kick plate & insulation.   I will have John will come out again - will look at his coupons & get a list together.  Definitely need the porch light replaced soon.  We also discussed a possible electrical issue with the porch light - seems the builder /electrician (1988) may have connected the front light switch with the hall bathroom & bedroom lights.  I was glad that John was able to schedule me, it was 2 months!   John & Wayne were very nice & I will call again soon!

    Carl came and measured door, provided verbal quote (didn't seem interested in writing one), all fine so far. Came to install double door but it was the wrong one they bought. Hmm. Instead applied silicone and charged my girlfriend $125. Never heard from again. Not cool, Carl. Do

    From the very beginning, Jesse was approachable and professional. He told us exactly what he was going to do and showed us examples of the products he was going to use. His crew, which included his son, were cheerful,respectful, and professional. Jesse went so far as to paint my front and back doors so that they would match the shutters and siding. He also replaced my address numbers with a much better plaque.The site was cleaned up daily and they hauled off any extra large debris. I wish I had more work for these guys as I am going to miss having them around.

    Two months latter the paint on my front door is peeling and bubbling and the mortar around my outdoor kitchen is already creaking off. The sink leaked and had to call a plumber to fix. Just a real bad job. I feel like I completely wasted a 1100.00 dollars.
