I've had aggressive skin cancer since I was in my mid-20's.  We moved and my previous dermatologists recommended UT Southwester Medical because of the leading edge work they do in MOHS surgery.  We are delighted with Dr. Savory.  She is passionate about her work, highly knowledgeable, and has a fantastic sense of humor.  Her assistant Laurie is equally skilled and amiable.  Can't go wrong with this team.

This is the first time I have ever visited a dermotologist and had a great experience! Dr. Newton explained everything he was doing and took his time with me.  He gave me options of treatment for later - I will definitely be back! He answered all my questions and gave me reading materials.  I would recommend them highly!

When I called to make the appointment, they picked up quickly, and I was given the option of meeting with a P.A. (the next day) or meeting with the doctor (a week or two out) - I chose the P.A., and they got me into their Flower Mound office the next day!
I met with P.A. Hope Thibodeaux, and was impressed with her knowledge. She's a no-nonsense, intelligent woman who identified all of my issues instantly. The meeting itself lasted less than 15 minutes, and I walked out with prescriptions, instructions, and a ton of new info.
The office offers a ton of both medical and cosmetic services, and I was given the option for anything that applied to me with no pressure. I particularly like their online patient portal, which sums up your entire visit, the diagnosis, and everything the P.A./Dr. suggested; it gives you the ability to get home and research your options without trying to remember the complex medical/technical terms! :) Its also great in case you decide you want to try something new down the road.
They made sure to give me all generic prescriptions, which I approached considering they wrote me 3!
I will say the wait times here are long. Don't expect to be called back at your appointment time, and don't expect to have the doctor show up in your examination room for a while after you've been taken back. But after two visits (this initial one, and a second for a yearly skin check), I'm sufficiently impressed enough to bring my smartphone and surf the web while I wait for my next appointment with no complaints.
