  • I contact them and they subcontract the work out. They provide a lot of the services, it depends on the package you purchase from them. 

    They have great customer service, quick reply. They follow up to each score, that the subcontractor did the job they were supposed to and it meets your standard. These are the key things that I look for, that they provide.

  • If any appliances go out they usually come and take care of that. They usually take care of our air conditioning system. We had trouble with our washer and they covered the whole cost of replacing them. I think their price is reasonable, that is why we went with them. Right now we pay about $60 per month but we have a better-than-normal policy. I personally think the quality is excellent. It is getting harder and harder to get them out here on time for an appointment. We have the policy yearly.

  • We first contacted them in the end of June. We were given a vendor who would come look at our A/C unit. The vendor no called no showed the first day. I reached out to them that evening trying to get information. We were told that they would get to us the next day. No specific time window was given. We waited for four days and was told always that the next day they would get to us. 
    We contacted Fidelity and let them know that we would like a new vendor. The next vendor did come out and look at our unit. He stated that it need freon and that would start the process. 
    When I questioned him about not finding a leak he stated that he worked for the warranty company so he was just doing what they requested. This did not set well with me.
    I had my own service tech company come out and look at the unit. They found a freon leak right off. 
    We called the warranty company again and had a tech come out and look at it again. The unit is constantly running and struggling to keep up. They came out on 9/25 and looked at the unit and said that the unit was working and again there was no issue. On 9/29 the unit stopped working. We are tired of wasting our time a resources waiting on an issue that we know needs to be fixed. The whole purpose of the warranty is to cover these types of issues. Our warranty contract ends on 10/5 we feel that this company was just trying to hold out until the contract ran out. We will not be renewing our warranty with them or recommend them to anyone.

  • All of the contractors they sent to the house were professional and took care of the problems we were having (ac/washing machine/plumbing).  We were impressed until they decided not to renew our policy.  We had chose the "cashout" option on both of the major repairs and had sent them receipts showing we had purchased new items within a week or two after the check being issued.  Hoping they are being honest about not serving the San Antonio area any longer - I assumed the whole purpose of a home warranty is to cover major appliances when they fail.
    Would use them again in the future if they "covered" the San Antonio area.

  • They had to order the material so we had to wait; still, the timing was pretty good. Repairs would usually cost more than $75 but then I appreciate that I only have to pay exactly $75. They are well-resourced when it comes to service people and the contractors they've sent to us have been very competent.

  • We called Allied because our dishwasher stopped working and appliance are covered in the standard home warranty contract.   The contractor showed up and found that the control board and the pump were failing so he called Allied and they approved the repairs.   The next day the contractor showed up with the parts and started to fix the problem only to find out that the new control panel was defective as well.
    The contractor called Allied back and told them this.   Well then they changed their mind and called us to tell us they would not repair the unit anymore and would give us $200 that's it.  The dishwasher is a Jenn Air stainless steel new costs $1100 and the parts needed forrepir were $450.
    We called Allied several time and asked to speak to a manager where they refuced,  so we kept calling.  Finally two days later we got in touch with Gloria,  who told us the buck stops with here and she did nothing to help us.
    So we now need to either use the $200 and pay another $250 to get it repaired,  or byuy a new one with our of pocket cost of $900.
    We paid $500 for a year policy and we get this type of service.  
    Go somewhere else,  I here American home warranty is good.   I here that with America home warranty they let the consumer decide to replace or pay off the depreciated value.  With Allied the contract clause says they make all decisions period.

  • Please refer to " what did the provider do?"  - Have no idea how this company is still in business with the the lack of customer service they have provided us over the past two years.  If you ever research one of there recommended contractors on Angie's List or BBB the best you will have at your house is a "D" at best.  If you bring this to their attention there is no sympathy and they will continue to provide sub-par service.  Our contract is up in Nov and we WILL be changing.  ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY!
