  • This is not a good company! They did about 3300 damage to our furniture mainly our leather couch but to a lot of Antique furniture. When we asked them to fix it they would only fix one tear. Let me just say there are nine tears all over it. So how do you agree to fix one tear but not the rest since they tore it They do not stand behind their work and are very unprofessional. They also broke the corner off on a bookshelf and instead of saying something they hid it in a drawer. My daughter found it and was extremely ****** because it was hers. We talked to a lawyer and are currently following their advice and have served a formal letter and have received no response.I do not believe they are licensed or insured. Our next step is either arbitration or small claims court. So let this be a WARNING DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Truly awful business. Property manager Kirk Latham is fine as long as all you expect him to do is collect rent checks and deposit them for you. Kirk is poorly organized and frequently blames his mother for losing paperwork. Ask him to follow through on repair work, and you're bound to be disappointed. I visited the property in early 2016 and noted several problems with my property due to neglect and abuse. Kirk acknowledged he would take care of them and bill the tenants appropriately. Among these issues were a broken drawer in the kitchen (which he sent out for repair, but never got back), a thoroughly soiled carpet, an HVAC system with a filter that never got changed, and every single set of Venetian blinds was broken. The tenant acknowledged their responsibility and said they would pay for it. Kirk not only never collected any money for the broken items, he gave them nearly all their deposit back. The cost of replacing the ruined carpet, broken drawer, and broken blinds fell entirely on me. After my last tenants left, I gave Kirk a list of about a dozen repairs I'd like done and asked him to get three competing quotes from licensed, bonded, and insured contractors. Kirk gave me quotes from two contractors who were ostensibly none of the above. Neither appear in the Yellow Pages or in the BBB. And they returned with quotes on different parts of the list. Nevertheless, he reassured me he knew them both and trusted their work. I hired Dick Donovan (aka "Humble Helper"), who turned out to be some local guy who wanted to run a handyman business, but didn't want to operate a business. Kirk sent me a bill for $9,900 and asked for payment. Because I do not live local to the property, I asked for an itemized list of completed projects, receipts, and photos of the work. He ignored several emails, so I emailed Dick directly. Dick refused to send the itemized list, receipts, and photos, giving me only a vague statement. I pushed back, stating that I wouldn't pay $10,000 for work I could not see. Dick and Kirk finally came up with an itemized statement and photos, and I paid, largely because Dick was getting very surly. I noticed in the photos Kirk sent, however, that my refrigerator had been stolen. Kirk didn't notice the missing appliance until I pointed it out, then denied any responsibility, stating that the contract I signed indicated he was not responsible for anything. I pointed out that the contract stated he was responsible in the case of negligence. My refrigerator was stolen because (1) Kirk did not inventory the property when the last tenants left, (2) he allowed Dick Donovan to steal it, (3) he failed to secure the property between tenants, or (4) he failed to change the locks after the previous tenants left. It took several attempts to reach Kirk to get him to file a police report. Once again, the cost of the stolen refrigerator fell upon me. I would never hire Kirk Latham or Rancier Realty and would love to see them go under.

  • Folkerson Property Management is the worst. Run! Do not use Doug Folkerson. If your shower breaks it will take months to fix. The move out inspection lasted less than 10 minutes and one month later we got a bill for $175 in addition to keeping our security deposit.
Unlike most people in our town who are military and don't have time to fight his bogus bills, we are staying in the community and have time to fight his charges.
They have no staffed office, only a store front with a slot to drop off your rent check. Good luck getting an email response on the first time. HINT: If you want a response email twice back to back (just go to your sent folder on your email and just forward the same exact email again). Calling is pretty much worthless. If you have unlimited cell phone minutes give it a shot but I guarantee you don't have unlimited time to place calls and wait for a response that never comes!
Any positive reviews of Doug Folkerson and his management company on this and other websites are fake.

  • We used The company for 3 years. After the second tenet moved in we had questioned the carpet being cleaned and where the last deposit went to. Fortunetly the tenet had let a sprinkler hit our front door to the point it was rotted out. Property managers said it was rain. We went down to look and see what was going on. We were very lucky as we're 5 hours away and can do this. We found our carpet trashed nail holes everywhere and when I turned the sprinkler system on it flooded the entry way as the door was opened. We found plumbers putty across the door seal and water coming in the door. Tenets had complained before and even after authorizing a contractor to fix it. It took mushrooms growing out of the rotten wood in order to get these guys to do anything. Final cost 750 for new door and replacing carpet will be expensive. If you can get a copy of the lease do absolutely! Check your house. You get pictures of walls every six moths ask for your floors. We ran into a lot of mis information on matnice as the property guy says he has someone then it's him who does the work. Beware this as he is not responsible if he screws up your front door. It's in the contract. Bottom line ask questions. Ask for a copy of the lease your name is on it so better to see than not. We found they were not happy to give it to us. Check your house every time it turns over!! We were told carpets clean and no damages only to be surprised by the condition we found our carpet walls and door in. You get what you pay for here

  • The experience we had with Heritage Moving was great. Larry arrived right on time to give us a quote for the job. Our quote came in at $4400, that was not the price we ended up paying though. With a little preperation on our part we ended up at $3200 as a final total. We moved 2 adults, 2 kids, and 5 dogs, for the price it was a deal! On moving day and delivery day (the next day) these guys were within 5 minutes (they were early, what?!) of the time they said they would show and were very polite and respectful. Our move went uneventfully and was a breeze. This company did everything I requested without issue or question, from weight tickets to special wrapping. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone who is be moving. Not a thing was lost or damaged during our move, I certainly can't say that about the military movers I have used to PCS previously. TOP NOTCH, I highly recommend!

  • This company is HORRIBLE!! they didn't finish any work. left unfinished holes in walls, unfinished door installation. They did not do any of the electrical or plumbing. Never got a permit from the city to do any interior work. They did get a permit to build the patio, but NEVER built the patio. At the time of this review they have $4250.00 of my money that I am am perusing in small claims court and pressing charges in criminal court. I wouldn't recommend  them to ever enter your house for any reason. They bought the cheapest materials and some of them went MISSING when he disappeared. My advice, save yourself the sleepless nights and anger dont use them ever,

  • The crew came in and went right to work. They also moved an upright piano for an additional fee. All services were completed within the time given for the special. The crew was very careful you not damage any of my items and were very professional.

  • We have relocated many times around the U.S. over the years and this was by far the best moving company we have ever used.  The guys were courteous and professional. The total move was completed on time and without a hitch. We would hire them again. Ronnie, Josh and Tommy, Thanks for you efforts.

  • Terrible van line. Every piece of furniture that was not boxed was gouged, scratched, and dented upon reciept. Items were taken apart that were picked up in one piece and the hardware lost. Other than fast delivery this was the worst van line I have used in my six moves in the last 18 years. I will never use them again.

  • They have been the worst packers ever. I have moved no less than six times and these packers have been the worst. They packed our crystal wine glasses with garage stuff. The same box had cooking oil spilled down the front and hidden from us until pick up day. There was little care in how items were packed and the boxes were not marked as to put them in the proper room at the destination. I will never use this company again.
