Window Replacement reviews in Haltom City

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Very professional company from the first appointment to the install of the windows. Salesman was very detailed about the company and the quality of how the windows/doors are made. Explained the process from the measurements of the product to the manufacturing to the install and the guarantee/warranty. The install was excellent with a great job done by Toby R and his crew.

  • LOVE THEM! Cannot say enough good things about them. They were so quick to respond anytime we had a question, the job was quick (they stayed late one night - rain slowed the process in the morning), and they seemed to genuinely care about our family and home. I had zero reservations or concerns and was so pleased with the results! They replaced all our siding and windows. Siding looks wonderful, clean, and even, and they also replaced all our windows. I love looking through our new clean windows knowing the job is over and was done so well. Their workers were brilliant and really knew what they were doing - despite having our siding repaired, the foundation made the window frames off a bit, but they were able to make it work perfectly and we've had no issues. It was such a good deal and value on the windows and siding - I felt the cost was more than fair, especially for the quality. They were very honest about pros and cons and didn't try to up-sell us. Plan on hiring them again for other projects and recommend them to everyone.

  • The whole experience was fantastic. Andrew was detailed and explained everything. There were no surprises from beginning to end. Carlos, the installer, was fantastic. His craftsmanship is top notch. In addition, he covered everything in or around the window when removing the old window and once the new window was installed cleaned up around the area. We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Sunsmart windows.

  • Both bathrooms redone, floors in the entire house, sliding patio door install, kitchen countertops and backspash, new kitchen lighting, popcorn ceiling removal, full interior painted, ceiling fans installed, tv mount over fireplace installed. All done in 5 weeks. On schedule and on budget. Excellent communication throughout. They helped with picking a color scheme that made sense. Minor issues at the end of the job were resolved quickly.

  • We are very satisfied with our new windows and doors that SunSmart provided. Our home looks and feels so much better after the install. The entire SunSmart team were extremely professional and went beyond our expectations, you should consider them if you need these products.

  • After my initial contractor cancelled, I asked around my neighborhood for a window removal/replace contractor. A neighbor said they had seen Scott Milner of Milner Installation Services replace a window next door, and it was such good work, they hired Mr. Milner to replace their window, too. I asked for a bid to remove the original aluminum sash and replace it with a Pella Thermastar (now known as "Encompass by Pella") vinyl window. Scott examined the original window install and determined that the window had been "bricked in place" by the original contractor. The original window could no longer be removed intact, because it was larger than the opening in the brick. He said his usual fee was not enough. He would have to disassemble the window before it could be removed, which would add at least a half hour to the job. I expected that he would be breaking the original panes of glass and there would be a mess to clean up. WRONG! Scott removed the panes of glass from the aluminum frames without breaking them. Folded and removed the frames and sash, and no broken glass! The install of the new window was a snap, and the low-pressure foam insulation and sealant application were perfect. Scott has become my window installer of choice for my rental properties and I plan to use him for the window remove/replace contract on my primary residence, too.. The "B" rating for "Price" is based on you get what you pay for. Since Scott does significantly better than average work, he charges a more than average fee. That's just fair; and he deserves to get paid. The Depot or Lowe's would have charged $125. But their contractor would have left broken glass on my back porch, the insulation would be loose fiberglass shoved in with a shim, and the sealant wouldn't be smooth. I would have been expected to clean up the broken glass. I know, because I have used the "resident" installers before. Is it worth more to have a clean remove/replace with perfect low-pressure foam insulation, perfect sealant, no broken glass, and no cleanup? I say, "YES"!

  • Entire experience was awesome. Salesman, communication and installation. Recieved three bids and Clarity windows were the best in looks and quality. Installation was first class. Installer cleaned up very well and was always respectful of our house.

  • Kind, courteous, professional workers, excellent work. They completed the installation very quickly and efficiently. We had a reduction in out electric bill of 30%! We would use them again and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Lanham!

  • Everything went great. From the initial sales visit to installation was about 4 weeks. Price was very reasonable with no interest financing options available. Everyone from start to finish was professional and courteous.

  • The small electrical jobs went well. The larger jobs he showed up in the afternoon worked a few hours and left. You never know what day he was going to show up. It took him months and he never finished. Some of the work was good and some of the work was not. The fact that he took $1,800 from me for Windows and never installed them is why I would never recommend him again. Character counts and you don't want someone like that working on your home.
