    (April 19, 2018) I had to move out of state from Texas to Colorado within less than a week due to job opportunity. I had signed up to receive email notification on moving companies. I noticed one called Global Moving Systems (GMS) and gave them a call for information. I spoke to a Darlene in New Jersey who quoted me at first about over $4000.00 to move over 760 square foot of items (2 bedroom). I stated the cost was too high and having another company who offered $2500.00. She gave me a family discount (since this was a family company) and another discount which brought it down to about $2783.00. She also stated that the company I received the deal for was a broker and stated they come out and scam you trying to up the price to move items. I explained I would talk it over with my husband. She gave me a website to go on their site to do some research. She stated their company was NOT a broker and once they offer price it is FINAL and no hidden charges. Darlene text me again on April 20, 2018 to see if my husband researched their company. I stated I will contact her on Sunday, April 22, 2018 for review info with her. My husband and I contacted her and after researching and looking at other reviews (having 5 stars) we felt this would be a good deal to take. Darlene set up the contract which we would pay half when movers came to pick up and other half when deliver items to home. She asked how I would pay. I told her with a credit card. She seemed to hesitate but took the deposit of $581.43. She asked how we would pay the $2783.00 which we told her again with credit card. She hesitated again said that the company charges a 5% interest on credit card, but we agreed to that charge. We urged to have our items picked up either Saturday or Sunday and someone would call me on Friday to confirm date of movers coming. On Friday, April 27, 2018 around 6:15pm, I received a call from the moving company that movers will be there on Sunday, April 29, 2018 around 8am. On Saturday, April 28, 2018 around 3pm I received a call from the lead truck driver (Alex) that him and his crew would be coming on Monday, April 30, 2018. I explained with confusion that was not what was scheduled and needed them to be at the home on Sunday. I called Darlene back and she said that the contract states Monday, which my husband and I reviewed contract and did show Monday. Darlene made a mistake by putting wrong day; even though, we spoke to her to confirm and received a call on Friday before confirming Sunday pick up. She acted as though she did not remember saying that. My phone automatically records all calls and we informed her we have this recorded that she did confirm this. She hesitated and spoke to her supervisor to see if can reschedule. I then received a call from lead drive (Alex) stating will be at home for pick up on Sunday, April 29, 2018 after 3pm. I called Darlene back told her that Alex will come on Sunday and she stated that Alex is really good and will take care of you and keep his word to be there. On Sunday, April 29, 2018 after 3pm, I received a call from lead driver (Alex) that they were at the apartments for pick up (they were lost and told them to go to apartment office and my husband would guide them back). Of course, they did not do that and found where we lived while my husband was waiting for them at the office. There were three crew member including Alex. One of the crew noticed our rabbits and told them we were selling them to good home. He seemed to be fixated on one of our rabbits and taking photos and thought he might be interested in buying rabbit. My husband came back home and as I showed Alex on what boxes we packed (my husband and I were up for 30 hours packing all night) and need to go on the truck, looked bewildered on items we had to put on truck. He stated to us that this was more than 768 square feet. He quoted us that our furniture (papasan chair and bags with clothes in them) all need to be in boxes and would charge us about $300.00 to box these items. He also stated that we have over 1000 square feet and price would go up. I explained to him that was not the case because we were told that no hidden fees and final price would be honored. He said that is not how it works. I called Darlene again and when she answered she said she would speak to her supervisor. Alex and his crew waited out in truck and said he would speak to same supervisor. I did not hear from Darlene for over 10 minutes so I called back and a male (Robert, supervisor) told us she was not working today. I urgently and with confusion explained that I had just spoke to her a while ago about the moving crew and charges. He said he would speak to Alex. About 15 minutes later, Alex comes back into our home and said that the cost would increase to $4000.00 because he feels this would cover about 1200 square foot in truck. I said that was not what we were quoted. My husband and I were back and forth with Robert and Alex for at least one hour. Alex went back into his truck said would speak with supervisor. My husband spoke to Robert again and we agree at this time to the cost; although, we felt we were being scammed due to the fact we were desperate to get our items moved. Alex came back again into the house and again said that he felt our items would be taking about 1800 square feet and price would be higher. I was extremely upset and told him that every time you came into our home you have increased square footage and price, which he replied (with Russian accent), ���No I have not��� and walked back out to his truck. My husband called Robert back, and he said due to Alex quoting square footage would cost us over $6000.00 to move items into truck. Robert replied to my husband saying, ���Are you man enough to pay this amount?��� At this point, I knew we were being scammed and had a feeling would get worse if we accepted this amount due on delivery as well. We both decided to cancel this process and urged them to refund my credit card of $581.43 ASAP. I was in tears and shaken because I had to get to begin my new job by first week of May. Fortunately, we found another moving company and were able to move that week for much less than $1000.00. My husband noticed a box marked as an ���X��� in front of our back yard and next day our rabbit was missing. If you want to save yourself from stress and being lied to, I do not recommend this company. They are BROKERS. The emotional abuse and stress is not worth it for what they put us through. I do not know how they have 5 stars, which is very questionable.

    Most movers you will meet absolutely loathe their job. Of course, moving heavy things cannot be fun. But I felt like the movers from US Movers Inc enjoyed their job. They worked very fast and I mean very fast! They were really swift with the packing and loading process. The delivery was made on time and the men unpacked everything. They put all the boxes in the right rooms and they asked whenever they were in confusion. It didn���t even cost me that much for the amazing services I received. All in all, it was a perfect relocation for me.

    Absolutely wonderful! This was my first time using movers and honestly I was a little nervous, but I didn't need to be. The 2 gentlemen were punctual, polite, professional, & incredibly hardworking. They worked quickly and efficiently with minimal breaks. Treated my belongings as if they were their own. I wish I could remember their names because I'd like to be able to recommend them personally. They were so good, I felt guilty using their coupon. Will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to friends & family. Thank you for making a stressful move go easier than I could've ever imagined! :)

    At first, I would've rated them higher because of their responsiveness, but then I would change that to a "C". I think when they first came, they did very well, but as time went on they began to get sloppy with their work. They were coming late. They would promise one time, then be out later than what they made it. They didn't do the job the way they should have. Because they got there late, they had to work late.

    The things were suppose to be moved from storage. They didn't large enough space, and we had to have pickup's large enough to move things. I was really upset. They were unpacking things, and some things were left behind. There were some other people's property in my shipment. 

    They charged by the hour and everything. They said they had to use more packing material than they thought. They included packing as part of the move. It was just terribly done. It was just a mess. 

    I liked the personalities of the packers, and the driver was nice, it's just that they complained that I had more stuff than they thought. I can't control that. 

    I worked in personal property shipment in the Air Force, and this was not done that well.

    I would hire this company again in a heartbeat, From the initial telephone contact to the end of the job it was flawless. The guys were professional, friendly and fast. Everything went exactly the way they told me it would and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The lady in their office was totally awesome on the phone. She walked me through what would happen and when.....and that's exactly how it went down If there is a perfect move this was it.

    Everything went extremely well. I received a call the day before to confirm, received another call in the morning about 30 minutes before the movers arrived to let me know they were on their way and an ETA. They showed up right on time. Took about an hour to move everything out of my 3rd floor 2 bedroom apartment, then another hour to drive to my storage unit and load that into the truck. 30 minutes to drive to the house, 15 minute lunch break (off the clock) then about another hour and a half to unload and arrange everything.
    The movers were all very friendly and professional, moved quickly and did a great job.
    Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to move in the area.

    A BLAZE FIREFIGHTER MOVING
    Smelt like they had been drinking or they drank a lot the night before and were sweating it out.  They had an attitude from the start and complained every minute... especially the foreman.  Moving at a snails pace, they were careless, damaging several things.
    They wanted to do their own thing and wouldn't listen to anything we wanted.
    I talked to the owner (a few times) about a badly broke desk (with pictures)... he never did anything about it.
    These guys that were sent out were week (their arms were as big around as my thumb) & barely useful... no way were they firefighters... if they were I wouldn't want them to save me.

    Moved from one location to another.  They sent three guys, who all worked ahrd, non-stop from the time they arrived unitl the truck was loaded.  They took a SHORT lunch break on teh way to teh new location, then unloaded the truck i half the time.  This included puttign all major items in teh correct rooms and putting furniture items back together.


    Only one minor "rub", where a table rested on its edge durign transport.  Not a knock on the compnay or the movers, as they ahd the table padded and taped well.

    Justin the lead mover and Lupe were awesome. They took care of all the possessions with EXTREME care and were very friendly in the process. I was impressed with their attention to detail and their straightforwardness when they forgot an item at the old home. I felt comfortable with the guys and would highly recommend them to future customers. Overall great experience!

    I had used Wrightway a year ago for my last move. Unfortunately, I received a lower level of service this time around, and it was more expensive. The crew was two hours late, and they took an hour longer this time to complete the move. This was disappointing, because this was a move within NRH and not from Denton to NRH as it was last time. They also used a saran wrap around our furniture which worked well, but they charged us $15 for that wrap. They never disclosed upfront that there would be an additional cost for saran wrap, nor did they give us the option to opt-out. I took the $15 out of their tip as a result. I was very impressed the first time that I hired these guys, but this time around it was a letdown.
